   I realize we are experiencing shortages in staff everywhere but I wish restaurants ( this restaurant) would close off sections, limit how many tables they give to servers, limit the number of patrons based on servers, etc… in an effort to keep the dining experience a positive one. It’s not our servers fault that she had too many tables in different sections. She was so busy we waited 10-15 min just to get our drink order taken and once we had our drinks in was almost impossible to get anyone’s attention to get our water refilled or order more drinks. On a separate note, the food took forever to come out and one roll took so long we thought they forgot it, we asked and said we had been sitting there waiting for drinks and the final roll for so long we no longer wanted it and yet it was brought to our table, didn’t taste fresh (like maybe it had been sitting there waiting to be delivered to us) and we were still charged for it. The experience was so interrupted by long wait times for drinks and food that I don’t think we’ll go back to this location. *Final feedback….the credit card machines there (and perhaps how the staff is trained on them) are not user friendly. We were left w the machine to finish the transaction ourselves. Twice it appeared that the tip had been arbitrarily established with no option for us to decide and twice the server had to locates to come and provide assistance. On the third attempt we had to ask the server to stay and make sure the unit operated as intended. Overall this location needs attention from management and above.

   RA Sushi always delivers when it comes to quality of food. The service however fails every time regardless of which restaurant you dine in. The amount of time it takes to 1) Get your drinks, 2) Get your appetizers, 3) Place your food order and 4) Get your bill is ridiculous. The servers are always very kind and knowledgeable however speed is not their friend. If you are looking to just have an experience of just hanging out and taking your time to the point you forgot you ordered or didn’t order your food than RA is for you. Frequent diner tip…order all the rolls you want at one time. If you go in with mindset of “I’ll just order this and if I want more order later” you will leave hungry because you will not want to wait another 30-40 minutes for the additional rolls.

   We decided to eat at the bar. The server did not check on us even though we were the only ones at the bar. We were served sushi dishes with no wasabi and waited 5 minutes without eating for the waiter to come back. When he did not come back my husband walked to the other side of the bar where 4 wait staff were gabbing. He asked for wasabi, the waiter brought it over without apology. He did not check on us again and we had to yell out our request for a to go box. The manager heard us yell and came over to see us and I told him “worse waiter ever”. He did not ask why. Will never ever return and will post our experience.

   Very poor quality experience. 6 people dining and no one got their food at the same time. The first person who got their food started to eat so it wouldn’t get cold and was finished before our last companion got their meal. Service was not good. Had to ask multiple times for soy sauce and ginger with our rolls. Very sad and we have had good experiences here before. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

   We had a great server (Cory) the restaurant was a bit busy. We went on Valentines Day, it seemed like the food might have been rushed. We had a reservation and requested a booth but when we got there all the booths were taken. But about 5-10 minutes of being there booth cleared up and were given to other customers so that was a bit annoying.

    Great food but extremely slow service for drinks and food. When I say slow I meant you'll wait at lease 10 min for a server to come to your table and15 min for drinks.. the food was 45+ of a wait. This used to be my go to spot every Friday. Now I wouldn't recommend it unless you order food to go before you get hungry. It's unfortunate because it was an amazing place. It has truly gone downhill. They need more staff and better management.

    After ordering, 20 minutes later we were informed that they didn’t have filet. Initially, no big deal. However, half of the meals were delivered to the table but the other half of the meals took another 30 minutes to be delivered. We were told as our meals were coming out that they were out of fried rice because many “to-go” orders came in and they would need to substitute with white rice. We spoke with the manager about the failed communication between the kitchen staff and wait-staff. The remainder of the meals came out and I had undercooked chicken and overcooked steak. They ultimately took $50 off our bill, which was appreciated. However, the overall the experience was poor.

    There was a bad odor when we walked in. It made the restaurant feel “dirty”. We were given the regular menu upon seating at 1100. We had to ask for a lunch menu then found out there was an additional menu for Ramen. Nothing was presented upon initial greeting. I was waiting for a to go box and our waitress was cleaning up plates. Unfortunately she stacked the plates on top of the food that I wanted to pack.

    Had a great my evening tonight. Ambro was our waiter and was super. Good conversations and lots of smiles all around. My wife had a bad diagnosis earlier that day and I took her out to forget about the day in general. She was all smiles when we left. Thank you Ambro….and we never told him about the rough day.

    We sat outside on the patio in 55 degree temps, the heaters were great, not too hot, not too cold, very comfortable. Abby was our waiter and did a great job, even the manager on duty stopped by frequently (but not too frequently to be annoying) to make certain everything was meeting our expectations. We’ll definitely be back soon.

    Before we got there we were talking about how we're just gonna take out time. Good thing, because the server was slow. I don't know what happened but it was ok. Never got any refills because she never came to check on us. Also got one of our items wrong, and that took awhile to wait for the correct one. And we just sat there for awhile with our sushi, waiting for ginger and wasabi. But like I said, we weren't in a rush, but it was off that we waited like that.

    This looks like a nice establishment, however cleanliness is very questionable. There we’re Filthy menus on the table and no soap in the women’s bathroom. My sons shoes were sticky from leaving the men’s bathroom. Drinks on the happy hour menu were not available because they did not have that alcohol in stock. When informing the manager of this situation he seem generally to have it excuse for everything. I know Covid restrictions have been lifted however Cleanliness at a restaurant still expect it. For this being my first time at this establishment I am not sure if I will return. The fact that my hands are dirty after looking at a big you is just unacceptable.

    Service was way to slow ! Server was very nice and attentive, but seems like they need more employees that can actually help instead of being standing around at host station. We waited at least 30 min to get drinks while our server was going crazy with lots of tables. 4-5 team members standing on the front taking to each other, wonder where was the manager to help out.     We had a reservation for 2. The hostess tried to sit us in an awkward corner, even though most of the restaurant was open. Before sitting we asked for a different table, specifying the exact one. The hostess said she will see what she could do, and then never returned to let us know. Ultimately, it probably came down to what server was up to be sat next in their section. But with a reservation in an almost empty restaurant, we should have been able to change tables. The server was inattentive for most of the time. The food and drinks were great, probably would’ve had another drink if the server stopped by at all.

    Food was -as always- very fresh and delish! For that reason I’d go back. Our server could not tell us about the food so appeared inexperienced and also personality wise- lackluster. She seemed uninterested in being there- wish I didn’t feel obligated to leave a tip. 😞
