Good food. Good Service. There were 2 orders we placed and they never came out. We asked about it and the waiter said we never ordered them. This was a little frustrating, He eventually put the order in. he felt back about the situation and gave us complimentary olives.

Our second time dining here and we loved the food. Lovely ambience, friendly and very good service. My favorites are the mussels with chorizo and the spinach and mushroom empanadas. Our friends who dined with us were very impressed. We look forward to returning.

R40 is a perfect location, near the Subway stop. The food was average at best and the wine pour was minimal for the $$$$. My companion and I had a nice dinner but we were ready to go explore other establishments rather that stay for another drink and dessert.

We loved the food. However, our server Courtney A was rude and dismissive. It ruined the entire experience of coming to this restaurant. Truly a shame that this person is a server at a restaurant that is otherwise doing it’s best.

Overall good! Pretty expensive, but solid food. Empanadas were great. Eggplant paccheri was ok, very smokey which was nice. but no acid or spice, which would have set it to the top, considering the buratta was world class Garden salad was fine. Chocolate dessert was fine, wouldve loved more marscapone and less blueberries, ratio was off. id come back

Such an AMAZING place!! I was looking for Argentinian restaurant to surprise my bf for his bday and oh boy! I nailed it. I’m so glad I picked this place, Miguel the manager was such an amazing guy. He’s staff so attentive and very professional kind with great charisma. We will definitely come back again! Thank you R40 and Miguel.

This restaurant is the perfect neighborhood spot. The food is delicious and there’s an impressive wine list. It’s casual, staff is friendly, and the space is lovely. The rigatoni and empanadas are absolute must-haves!

The service was not attentive at all. I had made a reservation and decided to sit at the bar. The poor bartender who was working alone making drinks for entire restaurants + patron @ bar was swamped. I waited 25 min to be given the menu - I thought this restaurant was Argentinean ? What is Argentinean about the menu ? Empanadas, pasta ?? It is a fusion style at best … Bar was designed so small that it can’t allow for 2nd waiter I also thought that the staff was not managed properly because it looked like 2 staff members were wondering - refilling water non stop while they could have grloed taking the orders at the bar - The food is good but menu is all over place and lacks true personality - I won’t return there are better upcoming places in LIc

We made a reservation and nobody greeted us in the front and we had to stand there for 10 minutes and we ended up seating ourselves. We waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive. The service was poor and the glasses of wine we received barely had anything in them. And the end of the meal, we felt rushed out the door. Overall an unpleasant experience.

Great dining experience all around. Food was absolutely delicious. Empanadas and chocolate olive oil cake are a must. Services was really great, out waiter was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance was lovely. We will definitely be back.

We've eaten here a few times, so I was surprised that the food wasn't as tasty as it had been previously. Despite being the first table sat in the restaurant, our server seemed a bit annoyed. Not rude, just not too friendly.

Food was excellent, but sadly, I doubt I’d go back. 1st, even with a reservation, we had to wait for 3 other groups to be seated before us. Service was slow, our first round of drinks were cleared & it took a while to get someone’s attention for another round. The music is WAY TOO LOUD & it doesn’t feel like it matches the vibe the decor is going for. The volume is so loud you can’t really enjoy a cute date night.

Food was way overpriced for the quality, asked for medium rare and the steak came out medium/well done. My husband order the same glass of red wine 4 times and they brought him different wines each time and when he asked why it was happening they just gave him excuses rather then changing the wine out. I will say the focaccia and the chocolate olive oil cake was to die for it was so good!

Best restaurant in this part of Long Island City by far. Amazing food and attentive service. We felt the music was too loud to have conversation, so wouldn’t necessarily recommend for a group of more than 3-4 people.

They used to have the best steak in the neighborhood, now it's not nearly as good and the price of the steak increased by 35%. The rest of the menu has been reduced significantly - i.e., used to have 3 pastas and now only have 1.

Overall still a great jewel in LIC! empanadas and cocktails were delicious, but Parillada was a bit dry. The kitchen gave us a delicious dessert (chocolate cake with strawberries) to make up for it which was delightful.

i was very dissapointed with this place me and my girlfriend ordered the mixed grill for 2 xhich is 65 dollars, it was a plate of a few different meats very small portion it wasnt even a mix grill for 1 person. this is not a real argentinan barbecue restaraunt i advise anyone not to come to this place its a total ripoff

Delicious - upscale Argentinian restaurant. Food you think you know will surprise you every time. The homemade focaccia special is amazing. The steaks were on point, but so were the appetizers, the salad and the desserts!
