R2L offers a sophisticated menu and a sleek dining space that has an amazing view of the Philadelphia skyline. Situated in the 37th floor of Two Liberty Place, the wall-to-wall windows allow guests to dine in a totally urban setting. The open kitchen and the hand-crafted cocktail menu complete the R2L experience.
Start your meal with lobster bisque or tuna sashimi, followed by a main course of old country braised pork or vegan roasted cauliflower. Veal, sole and lobster tail are usually on the rotating menu and guests should always try the R2L dessert menu which includes milk chocolate hazelnut gateau or pumpkin spice cheesecake.
From a midday board meeting to an intimate cocktail party overlooking William Penn atop City Hall to a grand seated dinner, the private dining options at R2L are as boundless as the views.

My finace' and I dined at R2L for my birthday dinner and ir was fabulous!!
Odd choice of background music for the establishment but besides that 10/10!
The food along with the service was great. Between my friends and I everything we ordered was great from the cocktails, to the entrees and the sides (lobster mac) was unique and delicious
Food was excellent. The side dish with mushroom spinach and fried onions was amazing and a perfect addition to any meat.
On the pricey side but we were there for the sunset over the city which was very cool!
This is a hard review. Traveled to Philadelphia and this was the romantic dinner night. The view is great, timed with the sunset was very cool. The food was on point. My problem is the bar area is loud, the music playing was loud. We couldn't hear our waiter. If we were not seated so close to the bar I think five stars all around. The problem is for a birthday dinner we didn't couldn't talk. I would still recommend but stay away from the bar area.
Fantastic evening for our son's birthday. Aaron was our server and he was superb by attending to our needs and maintaining a comfortable pace throughout the meal, while being very knowledgeable. The chef was incredible by creating the oysters rockefeller, which was not on the menu. The only recommendation would be to bring back the original arugula flatbread. For some reason, it appeared to be somewhat different and not as flavorful. We thank you for an outstanding evening and will most definitely return!!
Over all my experience was pretty good...we had a great view of the city... the only negative was we had to send out steak back to the kitchen twice... they were apologetic.. once they got it right the food was delicious
The service and general splendor felt very expensive. But the food was only pretty good and definitely not worth the high cost. I would go back only for drinks and apps. Not a full meal.
food was amazing service could of been better the waiter came to the table only twice it was hard to find someone to help if we needed something. the manager was nice wish she was our waiter but we still left a good tip because you don't want to seem poor or ignorant in a place like that.
It was amazing beautiful view drinks is ALLLL that best Mac and cheese in the city great services
R2l was one of the most sufisticated restaurants I’ve ever been to. I loved the food , loved the scene and the window view is a must go . Loved the R2L
Steak was ok and cold. Best part of meal was the side Mac and Cheese
Crazy food
Tiny portion
The food was good for the most part but that is to be expected when you’re paying an arm and a leg. The dress code stated collar shirts only and no sneakers but that wasn’t the case when we arrived. Several patrons did not follow the dress code. My group of 7 waited 20mins pass our reservation time for a table. We did not get a window view. The staff was pretentious and anytime we had a question they looked annoyed and were not welcoming. When I asked wheather gratituity was added to the bill the staff said no. Since we were a larger group we expected tip to be added but it was not stated on the bill. However 15% gratuity was added to the bill but not stated on the bill so my group double tipped. This place is not worth the money. It’s the kind of restaurant you go once but never want to come back again.
A definite tourist scene. Location. Location. Location.
Had a very good experience. Would recommend for a special occasion
Beautiful views. Mediocre food. Romantic. Get seat by window
Our second time to R2L and it keeps getting better. The service and staff are truly amazing and go above and beyond. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, which is more than a restaurant, to anyone looking for a great time, romantic time, or just a get together with friends. Great food, great staff and an amazing view of the city. Love!!
Wonderful experience for my boyfriend's birthday! Went Saturday night and our server (Javier- excuse the spelling) was fantastic. The food was delicious and the cocktails were great; we ordered the half chicken and salmon --both practically melted in your mouth. Will definitely come back here again very soon. We had a great time!
Always great! Jameer is amazzzzing!!! Our waitress beautiful Asian young lady ( can’t remember her name ) was also very nice. One drawback is that I wish open table made the window package an option. We didn’t realize that was something you had to pre pay for. 2.5 pound lobster tail was so mushy I guess over done , nit sure what causes that. But everything else was delicious.
Great gourmet meals !! The halibut was tender and the spice was not overpowering. The Tuna was seasoned perfectly.
The food and service was outstanding, but unfortunately there was a very strong odor that was coming from the bathroom and kitchen area. It smelt as if the bathroom was located in the dining area. It took away from the experience of the atmosphere and ruined my wife’s dinner. We will not be coming back
Amazing. Rest. Bravo to the Chef.
Bravo bravisimo muy Bueno
The food was delicious. Servers wearing suits made it difficult to distinguish them from management. The bussers interrupted us way too many times. We were there for a romantic meal and were asked if we wanted our plates cleared multiple time while there was still food on them.
Great food, drinks and views.
The view was outstanding and the service was great! The food was not worth the money. The view is so wonderful it’s unfortunate that the food doesn’t compare to the quality of the view.
Everything was great from the time we arrived to us leaving. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you
This was my first visit to R2L since I started working in the building . From the moment you walked in the ambiance was impeccable . We were blown away by the selection of wines and the variety of the menu . The service was above par , and they went above and beyond to give us a 5 Star experience. Took about 15 min for an appetizer and 40 min of waiting for the main course . Food tasted amazing and was well worth the price . I completely recommend this establishment and would easily go back in a heartbeat. Jamir if your reading this thank you for the amazing service last night .
My girlfriend’s birthday
Beautiful selection of food with professional service. The perfect place to go for a dinner at sunset.
We took our three kids there for a 5pm Easter dinner. They loved it! Food, drinks, and service were great, and while R2L isn't marketed as a "family" restaurant per se, the staff was very accommodating to our kids. So much so that upon seeing how enthused the kids were by the magnificent views, the manager was kind enough to offer them an exclusive peek of the restaurant's little-known north facing views! Really made their day!
I loved everything and will be back! The food was amazing and the view was beautiful! I knew my lil sister enjoyed herself!
Took my gf there for her bday. Great service and food. Pretty loud in there, FYI.
Food was amazing and our server Min was awesome! First time here and I would definitely go back .
While the views are nice, this place definitely needs a refresh. The furniture and decor are worn and feel like they're from the 1990s and was also very dark, the food is nothing special and you're certainly paying for those views. The service itself was good, with friendly and accommodating staff, but would not recommend. Go for a drink maybe, go elsewhere for food.
R2L is definitely a unique restaurant with an amazing view. The food, though quite pricey, is extremely good and the staff is amazing, to say the least. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic or special evening overlooking Philadelphia.
Every interaction with staff was impeccable and the food and service were so amazing- we thoroughly enjoyed and were so happy to have the opportunity to experience such a wonderful restaurant while attending a conference. Definitely one of the best meals I have ever had!
Was a great experience overall. Had a nice view, great staff and food!
Birthday. I didn’t get a cake 😅.
Otherwise superb
