This is my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. Food is always delicious and service is top notch. It can be pricey but the quality is well worth it. Never disappoints.

Service and ambiance were outstanding. However, the food was just alright. It was good but not worth the price. If I were to go again, it would be to have a few drinks at the bar for the view.

WE HAD AN GREAT TIME. IT WAS MY FIANCE'S BIRTHDAY AND HIS FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH R2L. THE EVENING WAS EVERYTHING I IMAGINED IT TO BE FOR HIM. ROMANCE WAS IN THE AIR. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE COMPLIMENTARY CAKE WAS A GREAT TOPPING TO THE EVENING. WE WILL DINE AGAIN SOON.

Service was a little slow. Meal was spectacular and view sets the perfect atmosphere. Don't be frightened by the $85 per person food minimum for the window as you will spend that anyway if you have a glass or two of wine.

Nice view from the 37th floor. Only problem is that when it is dark all the people at the more dimly lit center tables away from the windows light up their cell phones and the glare in your eyes can be quite distracting. Food is solid but not spectacular. Mushroom mix as a side dish was very good as was the salmon. Accompaniments to the salmon and vegan pepper were a little bland.

We’ve been to R2L many times but this particular evening the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. We had brought two guests with us and it was their first visit to R2L and they were blown away in every respect… Awesome food, great service and an unbelievably phenomenal venue !!!

The grits were amazing! Beautiful view, but wasn't aware you had to specifically pay for a window seat. But still a wonderful experience. Service was very fast.

The four of us were seated promptly , should reserve window seats , we didn’t , we we’re not aware that the 90 seat reserve fee was included in your meal . Had a cloud free evening and the sunset was majestic .. we were seated in 4 top behind two window booths and it’s was little jammed with an bunch of empty seats surrounding us ...but we’re comfortably but wished we could have reserved a sunset booth. Our Waiter was quick, friendly and professional but seemed he needed a busser or assistant to help him , since we had empty glasses and finished plates sitting for a few minutes . He seemed to be doing everything and made the experience worthwhile But service needed help for such a fancy place . Knowing the menu was a little basic going in and heard from friends that The food wasn’t anything to scream about for such a beautiful dinning room , and like we were told , the food just didn’t reach that level but it was good ( we ordered risotto , chop salad , shrimp cocktail , nachos , filet, salmon and fluke . All were good but again nothing seemed to reach the level of the view ( similar experience to the chart house ) we didn’t stay for dessert and decided to Uber over to the four seasons to check the view from John George’s for desert and evening cocktail ... great view there also with a major wow factor !!! but bartender seemed bothered and Not friendly at all But apple dessert was amazing .... so two jaw dropping sky views from philly in one night .. but both restaurants didn’t reach the levels of expectations that their views did ....

My Wife & I were referred to your wonderful restaurant by our good friend Darryl Emory. On Thursday (2/27/20) we were enjoying dinner & celebrating my Wife’s Birthday. Everything was a SUCCESS! Our waiter, Brian, is a true professional who really makes R2L look very good. His recommendations were on point as we enjoyed every course. R2L & Brian are the absolute BEST!

We will definitely be back soon,

1st time using Open Table..found this marvelous restaurant around the corner from our hotel. Had express elevator to 37th floor. Arrived at 5:30 sunset view breathtaking over the city... attentive service..Sheila, server, excellent, along with those actually clearing table between courses, serving, food, filling water. As for noise..you may be seated away from bar and music making ok for us who don't want to hear it. Now food... wonderful!! Limited choices for our likes but we aren't very adventurous. Give them a try!!

I left the Mariam Theather 20 minutes before Show ending which costed me $450.00 for tickets so I can go to my R2L reservation , However we arrived R2L at 9:50 pm.
They told us our reservation was cancel due to our arrival time.
They place was not full and still foods are still coming out from the kitchen after we were there for 10 minutes. We were offered to stay at the bar area but no more dinner, so
we left R2L quite disappointed .

From the service to the food everything was just on point. It's a plus when asked if you want to leave your jacket/coat downstairs by the host. Which makes it even more comfortable to dine in the. Not having to worry about your big coat hanging on the back of your chair.

This was my first visit to R2L and it won’t be my last. The ambiance gives a nice vibe and it was so nice to actually be able hear and partake in conversation with my dinner companions. Glenn was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious. Having never had Fluke before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Glenn told us it was delicious and he was not wrong. The Tuna loin had just the right amount of seasoning so that it didn’t overpower and takeaway from the freshness of the Tuna. I have to say that the Truffle bread was amazing!!
I just wish we had saved some room for dessert.
Looking forward to returning to R2L whether for dinner or to enjoy the views while at the bar.
