Drag brunch Sundays are a thrill like no other. Whether it’s a party of 2 or 20 they can accommodate you with space inside and out. I’ve been here for simply dinner and i found the food to be much better than the brunch menu.
When we got there they wanted to seat us outside in direct sun with no umbrellas we asked for something else. There were able to seat us inside within 10 minutes which was acceptable. The food and drinks took more than 1/2 hour to come. It took about half an hour to get drinks and another 20 minutes to get some of the appetizers. The potato dish was not good. The potatoes were not cooked enough. We had to request several times for more appetizers which again took at least another 15 minutes or so. The main dish took another 20 minutes to arrive. The show finished and we placed our order for desserts but we were asked to move outside since they need to prepare for their afternoon group and next show. We had previously done this about 7 months ago and the food and service were much better. The show itself is very entertaining. Not sure if I would contemplate going back.
Very fun and energetic. I went for Brunch and the Drag Queens were hilarious, interactive and amazing. I had such a great experience.
I love this place. I think the food is very reasonably priced, and delicious. The setting of an art-installation within the restaurant is a very interesting and pleasing concept. The service is intimate, and friendly. I prefer to sit outside in the garden, which is quiet and more intimate.
Fantastic drag brunch experience. Fantastic service and cocktails.
Everything was great! Food, drinks, and service. The music was too much hip pop all night, perhaps a better mix.
Wonderful. Art and ambiance fantastic. Food and service perfection.
The food was extraordinary! It was the best we have had on our trip to Miami. I had the skirt steak and the presentation was so pretty and the flavors were amazing! My son had the chicken and he devoured it - he is 16 and a football player and his only comment was that he wanted more. My husband had the snapper and it was perfect as well! The service is wonderful, but it is not a quick meal, so order one or their amazing cocktails and relax and enjoy and amazing evening here!
I went with friends for drag brunch and honestly had a great time. We arrived at 11:30 AM and had to leave our table at 2PM on the dot for the second drag show which is clearly disclosed on their website. So if you feel you might want to stay at your table for longer, I recommend you reserve at 2PM. And of course, be there on time so you can make the most of your visit.
As far as the drag show, they always have an amazing show that will get you off your seat many times. It’s exciting, funny, and fabulously entertaining.
As far as the food, everything is good except if you’re a vegetarian. I did not see a vegetarian option on the menu, but I would recommend to call if you do not eat meat because some venues will accommodate their guests.
The place is amazing with the art and the atmosphere. Me and my wife personally gave the chef and the staff our compliment on the service, Food and there over all attitude. This is a great place at any time to dine at.
Good food with a great atmosphere and the show was a blast. Service was great as well. Definitely would visit again and recommend to others!
We were so excited to have dinner here seeing that it's been talked about as a great restaurant in the Wynnwood area. The restaurant itself was really nice with a lot of vibrant artwork everywhere BUT everything else was a disaster. Let's start with the menu and how it didn't accurately describe menu options. What you thought you were ordering was really something quite different that didn't taste very well at all. The service was AWFUL. Our waiter took our order and then literally disappeared. We wanted to add extra items and decided not to after waiting so long to see the waiter again! Food took a while to come out and once it did, it was cold. Something fell on my plate twice and when I looked above and it was a really nasty air vent blowing out smudge and dust everytime air was started. To top things off our waiter completely recommended another place to go to next time as he worked there and thought very highly of it. (Kinda unprofessional to your current job, huh?) We left pretty disappointed and ended up at Wynnwood Kitchen & Bar which says a lot. We literally had to eat again. Huge thumbs down to this place. They need to train their staff and hire new chefs. Maybe have a consultant come in and take a better look at that menu!
Resolution good experience we had at R House. Friendly and superb service from your waiter, did give us a lot of attention and drinks was coming quickly. Food was incredible good and the taste was awesome! Price was really value for money!! Try the risotto balls - delicious!!
Biggest recommendation from us! We enjoyed!
Fun with a group of friends.
After 50 minutes waiting for our order. Another waitress approached us letting us know that one of the main dishes for our party of five just ran out. We never saw again the lady that took the initial order. We had no other option than leaving hungry and frustrated.
Microbrews, unique cocktails and great twists on American food (and para-American food like Tacos) are served up in a friendly and casual atmosphere. You can eat inside or out, but the ambiance is good in both locations. The chef even came out to meet our table. Good times. Recommended.
Amazing from our wonderful server to the drag show and seeing the owners working on the floor. Everything was exceptional!!
My husband and I, along with another couple, had dinner on a week night. Decor was contemporary/industrial with local art displayed. We ate outside and really enjoyed the garden space.
We all had cocktails which were unique and very tasty.
I have gluten allergy and they were sensitive to my needs. I had the chili/skirt steak on the recommendation of our waitress. I thought the steak was tender but too much of the sauce (though it was a tasty sauce). Another member of our group had the fish which was wonderful, I wish I had ordered it!
Love the Wynwood area.
Went there for NYE dinner. All food came out barely warm, the steak tasted like rubber, not edible. The show was bad too. Really disappointed.
Best place in Miami, no doubts. Magnific food and drinks. The staff is beyond nice! We love this place!
Loved the restaurant, service and food. Great ambiance and good pace of the meal.
We ordered the sea cakes, which were good with chunks of shrimp and scallop, but the dipping sauce needed more spice. We had the falafel salad, which was also tasty, but needed a more interesting salad mix or vegetables to pop. The beet salad was tasty but nothing life-changing, as many menus feature the same dish. The tres leches was great and our server was also great, warm, honest and funny. Cocktails were tasty - the mule and the cilantro martini are a must. Overall, decent food and great vibe.
Owner of Restuarant not very friendly, actually quite unpleasant, been there 2, will not go again
Very pleasant on all counts. The service was quite attentive and the food was both creative and tasty.
James our server wS great and artist Jonlouis escorted me around the art which was like having a docent while I waited for our food. Everyone liked their food and the price was so much lower than Miami Beach places.
My server walked away from me in mid-sentence when I was explaining to her that I was unsure of what to get because there was no vegan options during their Sunday brunch. After a while I felt as if I wasn't wanted there. It became hostile and coming to visit from Chicago, this place was a terrible disappointment.
Nice spot, great art on the walls, comfortable and spacious, the backyard is open an cozy. Recommended.
Great service, bad food
We absolutely loved our server James. He funny, personable and made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious and filling. I will definately come back and recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
Very good. Sea Cakes were good to start, snapper was excellent, moqueca was good. Wine was a generous pour. Service was very good and attentive. Atmosphere was energetic but relaxed as expected. Artwork around the restaurant adds a nice ambience and management came by our table twice to check that all was okay. Professional and non-intrusive. I will go back just for the snapper. Asked to substitute couscous for lentil-bacon side since I didn't feel like eating meat. No problem whatsoever and it was delicious. Didn't have desert.
Read up on this place and saw a lot of good reviews. But unfortunately our experience was far from anything we read. We went specifically to enjoy the drag brunch and it took about 15 minutes to set up our table followed by another 15 minutes to get menus and 15 more to order our meal. Meal took about 35-40 minutes to arrive and when it did, some dishes were cold and some of our guests did not receive their meal. On the flip side, we complained to management and they comped a portion of our bill. However, we had to eat elsewhere afterwards.
Waiter or runner messed up our order and served to wrong table. Took it back to kitchen which was totally in the weeds at that point only to have it slightly reheated and brought to our table. Food wasn’t bad but it was not the right temperature. Manager was accommodating in the end
Entertaining show with some amazing dancers. It was a very delightful brunch.
Ambiance and food was good at happy hour on Saturday 12/2 but service was very slow. New servers need better training and it should not be on the job.
Had a great time at the brunch. Food was not that great but the entertainment and service makes up for it.
Came for a birthday celebration, mine to be exact. Service was bad they don’t refill mimosas like they should waiters sit watch the show and don’t cater to you. On top of that they came off somewhat rude. They really don’t do anything special for your birthday and when the waiter was told it was my birthday he rolled his eyes then smiled. If you go sit at the bar have some drinks maybe the only thing good about this place were the queens because the food wasn’t anything spectacular either. A bit disappointed at the place overall and I’d suggest another brunch spot.
Beautiful restaurant! Art was fabulous. Waitress was wonderful. Food was superb. Worth the drive
