As always excellent always made to feel so welcome by Rebecca and her team cant wait to go back .
Having dinner with family I haven’t seen for a long time. We were well looked after without being hassled.
Amazing choices for gluten free food . . . I've loved everything I've had so far and determined to work my way through the dessert list! Lovely staff too . . . highly recommend :)
Bruschetta was soggy. Salad was old (water retention). Haggis bon bons were very dry. The burger buns also soggy. Caijun chicken burger was tasteless just thrown in the bun. Only food that was decent the chips.
Brilliant service & tasty food, fantastic pastry on the pie
Very good meal and drinks, good atmosphere and service all at a very good price. Would go again.
Great food and service. Good choice of gluten free options. Onion rings were particularly good. Staff well trained and covid procedures in place. Make sure you book.
Great food, great service, friendly staff I will definitely be back.
Excellent service from start to finish. Very relaxed, yet with safety paramount with name and number checks clarified swiftly at the door. Food was impressive, delivered in good time and with a smile. Staff always on hand to assist. I'd recommend R&B without hesitation.
Was a great meal and lovely pub. Made the most of the rules and was made to feel very welcome.
Food was great value for the money. Service was first class. Would highly recommend.
Decor looked like a Gothic Indian restaurant , flock wallpaper and black and purple velour seats, probably looks great at night , but a lunch visit looked a bit odd. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and obviously well trained on Covid regulations. I was impressed to the see the staff wash their hands every time they went into the kitchen to pick up a meal to serve. We wanted a light lunch and website advertises sandwiches/ pannini's etc, but the menu we were given was the main house menu and basically everything with chips. Waitress advised us of soup of the day , but the main board stating the soup was a different flavour. We ordered scampi and breaded chicken. When it arrived it was so deep fried and overcooked it was a struggle to cut it open, and was absolutely tasteless, chips were thin , weedy french fries again many over cooked. Disappointed, the one thing that saved was the great coffee , loved the design on the top and the friendly and attentive staff. It was our first time of going and I won't rush back so much nicer places with a better daytime feel than here
I use this restaurant quite a lot when I am in Inverness which is quite often due to work and the food is always great and the staff are extremely friendly I would highly recommend this place to anyone
Restaurant was lovely staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help and the food is amazing good homemade meals
Great food, lovely staff and a good menu. City centre location and close to the river.
Great food and service. Would visit again and highly recommended
Fantastic service in this Family run bar.
If you're in town 100% go here
Food and staff was excellent. Cannot recommend R&B highly enough.
My boyfriend and I ate here the other night and I definitely won’t be returning. The waiter didn’t know the menu and then our starter arrived 5 minutes before our drinks. I had fish and chips, the fish was really nice however the peas were cold and shrivelled, my boyfriend ordered a steak medium rare which was over cooked. They took ages to clear our table, the staff were all standing behind the bar chatting instead, when they eventually cleared us they were very blunt and didn’t even ask us if everything was okay.
It was our last night at foyers so decided to go for a meal. This one we managed to get booked. We were presently surprised when we arrived.
Service in relation to corvid was good.
Food was plentiful and was very tasty.
Yep would return again if in the area.
Excellent food and a great price. Staff very attentive and couldn't have been more helpful.
Would definitely go back
We booked a table for 5 to celebrate my birthday. The table was booked for 6.30pm, when we arrived, there were only 2 other tables occupied. We were taken to a table which should seat 4 people with an extra chair placed at the end! Now, I could understand the need for this if we were being 'fitted in' to a busy restaurant, but as I said before, the place was nearly empty! We asked if we could move to another more suitable table only to be told that that was not possible, so we decided to try and make do. From this point on, the experience was not a pleasant one, there were 3 young girls behind the bar who started at us the whole time we were there, perhaps the manager should advise them it is bad manners to stare!
The food we ordered was fine for the price we paid, and none of us have any complaints about that, it was just the customer service which severely lacked!
I would not recommend this place for food, go elsewhere where your custom will be valued instead of tolerated!
Good place, great food, excellent Service, especially David.
Service was great, both the bartender and server were really friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we had what we needed. The food was just ok. I had the spicy chicken burger and husband had the curry. Both were fine but nothing remarkable. You will be tempted to sit in the bistro height seats by the windows that look really inviting...don’t. They are very uncomfortable.
We stumbled upon R&Bs Saturday night looking for dinner and I'm glad we did. The food was yummy!! I had steak and ale pie and it was fresh and homemade. My kids had cheeseburgers and my husband the fish & chips. All of the food was great!!
We really enjoyed the friendly helpful service & excellent food , just along the road from where we were staying. We were made welcome from the start & I can recommend the delicious Haggis Lasagne with a thoughtfully prepared salad & honey dressing!
We came up as a party of 7 for a birthday and came for food. Had our table booked and turned up early amd they were fantastic and seated us right away.. the food was excellent everyone was impressed and that so we went back on the Sunday, suitcases in tow and they happily let us put our cases on the stage and we ate at different times put in a few orders and nothing was too much ... of u want some lovely homemade food, great drinks and a food atmosphere this is the place to come. We were all most impressed with the service and quality of food! Thanks for making us feel welcome
The fish and chips were excellent as was the service, everyone was very nice
Food was amazing, couldn't fault the service. Only thing wrong was we were seated at high seats by the window which weren't very comfortable when eating.
