   As a Birthday lunch we were very happy with the service, standard of food and table position. We had an enjoyable experience. A bit disappointed there was no veggie options for the roast. Would definitely come again.

   Food was good but not outstanding. Service was ok but not great. They seemed to be a lack of staff generally. A beer on tap - Half pint was £4.50 That’s £9.00 a pint! I live in London and even the most expensive places there don’t cost that! Not like it was a fancy restaurant either. Just a upscaled gastro pub style.

   Celebrated our wedding anniversary with afternoon tea here, on the terrace. Delicious food and one afternoon tea (finger sandwiches, 2 scones and several mini cakes and puddings) was more than enough to share between two. We just topped up with an extra pot of tea, which they didn’t charge us for as an anniversary gesture :) We’ll be back!

   Parking at hotel: unfriendly and unhelpful reception staff. Was allowed and able to park, but quality of customer service left a lot to be desired! Very mechanical and nothing personable/helpful about this experience. (Very different from in the past - to the extent that I would consider eating elsewhere in future, as I frequently eat at Quod at weekends mainly because of support with parking provision). Food ok. Staff also very mechanical and unpersonable. Noise levels excessively high inside (where we had to eat sue to heat outside).

    Service better than last time but still slow , 12% charge added on cheek !!! Didn’t realise this til to late ! Tipped another £10! So bloody expensive for what we had . Friendly waiter this time , last visit was awful so I’m glad I gave it a second chance but still need more staff to speed to service!

    Limited menu imho & a little bit over priced. The Ivy is far far better value. Food was ok. Ribeye hard hardly any fat running through the meat. The peppercorn sauce was watery. Salmon & salad was OK

    A lovely meal and very helpful staff. It was too hot to sit out in the courtyard so we were happily moved indoors. Third of fourth visit to Quod which is still one of the best restaurants in Oxford.

    Lovely food. Good portions that left us full and satisfied. Nice to try something alternative and the rabbit in particular was fantastic. If I could criticise 1 thing it would be the noise level coming from the kitchen. We were placed near the entrance to it and the chef clearly doesnt appreciate waiting for the service. Nice to know there is a chef who cares but he was VERY loud, especially if he had to shout twice. The waiting staff were all friendly and we didnt have to wait long for our food which was served fresh and hot. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

    I am fond of the Quod, and bring my visitors and friends to it regularly. I expect and usually get great food, charming and efficient service and a good atmosphere. The food was indeed great and the atmosphere good, but..... During the first two courses, we were served by a most charming waiter (a Spaniard), who then came to tell us that his shift had ended and that we would be looked after by another waiter. Thereafter, we were confronted by a very different (I think I mean indifferent) level of service. The new waiter looked grumpy and as if couldn't care less. It doesn't take much to smile or to respond to a polite call, but the absence of such things can very quickly turn a very pleasant meal into a less than pleasant one. And this, I'm afraid to say, is what happened. Sorry to have to say these things.

    What was rather disappointing was that my main course (seared duck) was cold - both the piece of meat and the veg, the sauce was tepid, only the patatoes (a side dish) were warm... When I mentioned it to the waiter, asking whether it was supposed to be like this, apparently the chef sent his appologies and that was it. As I said, rather disappointing...

    A lovely restaurant in a beautiful building. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and fresh. We are a group of work colleagues who met for lunch here for the third time, we always enjoy it but prefer to sit on the terrace as the noise inside can make a group chat difficult. Drinks are a little pricey even for Oxford.

    Quod, just fantastic as it always is. Been going there for over a decade and never disappointed, wonderful staff, delicious food and as a family get together of 8 who don't see each other often enough it is so nice that we can stay there all day and never feel rushed. Can't recommend Quod enough!

    Not too noisy as outside on terrace. Service very pleasant and despite being busy was not kept waiting for very long. Food was delicious. Cheesecake could have been half size but double the base and I would have been just as happy.

    It could not have been any better. We went for lunch after our daughters graduation with friends as a group of 12. Service was friendly and efficient. Lots of choice on the menu for everyone. 2 of our party have severe food allergies and they felt reassured that their food would be prepared with care and they would be ok. Lunch was lovely, all very happy

    I am very pleased to see that kedgeree is on your menu and hope that it will stay there. It is one of my favourite dishes, yet very few restaurants appear to serve it. The portion I was given on Thursday seemed unduly small, but a more generous one was served on Friday, with two halves of a boiled egg rather than just one. The meal as a whole was most enjoyable, though your other guests seemed to be shouting at each other rather than talking, and the din was incredible. I accept that that there's probably nothing you can do about this.

We had some feedback on the size of the Kedgeree on that Thursday which we listened to and therefore the portions on Friday were slightly bigger, I do hope you enjoyed the dish on both days.
