Al restaurante Quod se accede desde High Street a través de un vestíbulo acristalado y cuenta con terraza y bar. Forma parte del Old Bank Hotel.     Take part in the most traditional English pastime of afternoon tea in the heart of Oxford. With its large windows looking onto the famous colleges, Quod is the perfect stopping point during a walk of the city. Enjoy classic egg & cress or ham and mustard sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam and a cup of tea or perhaps a glass of champagne. In the summer months tea can be taken on our recently refurbished Italian garden terrace.

    The chicken thighs on the set menu were rather chewy (tough) and the veg a tad soggy, it was also too salty. I wouldn’t call the staff that warm and friendly.

    Really nice food and good service nice atmosphere. Only issue realised after we left we got charged for a drink we didn’t have but partly our fault for not checking.

    My friend and I had the Champagne afternoon tea to celebrate her 50th Birthday. The service was very good and they gave her a scoop of ice cream with iced happy birthday, that I thought was a lovely touch. The Champagne was to our taste and you made her Birthday special. The view of Oxford in the background was special as we are both born in Oxfordshire and have fond memories of the area.

    Service was excellent. Unfortunately the food was not up to its usual standard. Starters were good but the main course not so good - lamb cutlets were under cooked and tough and the fillet of salmon unfortunately was over cooked. However, this will not deter us from returning as this has been the only time we have been disappointed with the food at Quod’s.
