Al restaurante Quod se accede desde High Street a través de un vestíbulo acristalado y cuenta con terraza y bar. Forma parte del Old Bank Hotel. Este antiguo banco fue transformado por su propietario, Jeremy Mogford, para convertirse en el restaurante más grande y de mayor éxito de Oxford.     Quod and the Old Bank Hotel have a large secure private car park and is accessed via an automated barrier. Priority is given to hotel guests though spaces are readily available throughout the weekdays.

    Take part in the most traditional English pastime of afternoon tea in the heart of Oxford. With its large windows looking onto the famous colleges, Quod is the perfect stopping point during a walk of the city. Enjoy classic egg & cress or ham and mustard sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam and a cup of tea or perhaps a glass of champagne. In the summer months tea can be taken on our recently refurbished Italian garden terrace.

    Very disappointing experience I came in for breakfast on Wednesday @08h45. The service was so bad, no one was ready to provide such. The bar lady couldn’t give 2x as she was busy sorting silly glasses. The manager, East Asian descent, lovely but there weren’t listening to him at all. Especially hangovers tall lady, slightly older! It was so bad she drooped food on the guests, just a pure mess! There was a lovely young g blonde lady, who at the end gave me the bill as she was so amazing within that short few minutes of interaction. The breakfast was lovely, had salmon and eggs with sourdough, coffee, sparkling water and a glass of Prosecco. Coffee, Prosecco came so late I had to remind them 3x and at some point I had to go to the bar! Remember, this was the most quite time of the day, 4 tables, 1 of 2, one of 4, and 2x1 No excuse whatsoever! Never seen this behaviour ever before at Qoud or sister restaurant! Been coming to all for over 20 years!

    We booked a table for five, noted it was for a birthday, and we had a small dog so requested an outside table. Beautiful setting and courtyard- made us feel like being on holiday. Excellent service and a very enjoyable meal. Special birthday candle in a scoop of ice cream added an unexpected surprise to the evening. Highly recommend.

    A very nice place with carefully prepared and delicious food. Staff are discreet and very helpful. Our lunch seemed rather expensive for what we ate but local business taxes and Government taxes are so high that the customer must bear part of those impositions.

    We always love to come back for outdoor dining experience and ambience. Everything was perfect but anchovies sauce on chicken salad which wasn’t stated on the menu as Chicken Caesar salad. Beautiful location, lovely and friendly staff and a joy to return time and time again.

    Best service we’ve had at this restaurant. Delicious grey mullet, goat cheese and veg pie and rhubarb cheesecake and lovely Sauvignon Blanc. Probably the best meal we’ve had at Quod.

    Always come here when in Oxford and it never lets us down. Very busy on a Saturday night, but never too noisy to talk to all people on the table. Service was very good. Food very good too.
