Al restaurante Quod se accede desde High Street a través de un vestíbulo acristalado y cuenta con terraza y bar. Forma parte del Old Bank Hotel. Este antiguo banco fue transformado por su propietario, Jeremy Mogford, para convertirse en el restaurante más grande y de mayor éxito de Oxford. El diseño elegante y contemporáneo describe un espacio que alberga una impresionante colección de arte británico joven. Sandra Blow, Craigie Aitchinson y Gary Hume adornan las paredes. Quod and the Old Bank Hotel have a large secure private car park and is accessed via an automated barrier. Priority is given to hotel guests though spaces are readily available throughout the weekdays.
Public transit
Coaches and trains provide regular services to and from destinations across the UK and there is a direct coach service to London every nine minutes. Coach stops are a couple of minutes walk along the High Street and Oxford Train Station is around 20 minutes walk away.

Take part in the most traditional English pastime of afternoon tea in the heart of Oxford. With its large windows looking onto the famous colleges, Quod is the perfect stopping point during a walk of the city. Enjoy classic egg & cress or ham and mustard sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam and a cup of tea or perhaps a glass of champagne. In the summer months tea can be taken on our recently refurbished Italian garden terrace.

Best service we’ve had at this restaurant. Delicious grey mullet, goat cheese and veg pie and rhubarb cheesecake and lovely Sauvignon Blanc. Probably the best meal we’ve had at Quod.

Always come here when in Oxford and it never lets us down. Very busy on a Saturday night, but never too noisy to talk to all people on the table. Service was very good. Food very good too.

As usual, we enjoyed our lunch very much. Two of the party had the delicious Roast Beef with a good selection of vegetables. The service is always professional and friendly.

The atmosphere at the bar was laid-back and welcoming ( pre-dinner drinks). Even better was the wait staff, who were amiable, interesting, and humorous. Due to its popularity, the venue may seem noisy during peak hours (Saturday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m.), however as the evening wears on, it gets quieter after 9 p.m. My main dinner, a special fish dish, was delicious. I would happily return.

We had an excellent meal to celebrate our daughters graduation . Drinks on the terrace beforehand then our meal 🍴 indoors. The food was great. However we found the noise indoors too much. We had to shout across the table to be heard and my elderly father with hearing aids just checked out as the noise was overwhelming. As a result we didn't stay for pudding, which was a shame.

Our server was so accommodating, added another person at the last moment and was attentive without hovering. Busy environment which made a great atmosphere.

Lovely setting m, food and service but very surprised to find the service charge was both mandatory and 13.5%. No transparency about how that plays out in terms of how waiting staff receive their tip. Quod, you can do better!

We have been to Quod many times. Yesterday did not seem very busy but food arrival was very slow- more than 30 minutes for anything to come.
