We love Quitos and love the food and service. We also like the shoreside dining experience. Great place
Quitos has changed in the quality of food.
The RI choder had way too much pepper for my taste buds.
Scallops and potatoes seemed overcooked and rubbery.
Waiter was friendly, but not very attentive
We went on a cold cloudy night and sat in the covered space right next to water. It was warm enough and very pretty. The service was great, but most of all the food was outstanding. We had a salad with scallops and a fried platter with clams and oysters. Overall a great meal. We will be back.
Great as always! Good to be back! Love those steamers!
First rate seafood, professional service, rickety table, excellent selection of beers, all at premium prices.
Manhattan Chowder was not good, served lukewarm and very watery with grease floating on top. I have had many times here and never like this. Clam Cakes were good. Coconut shrimp not what was expected, cold, no coconut or taste only mango spooned on top. Would not order again. Will give more time to improve before going back.
Best fried shrimp, crab dip I have had locally. Recommended.
Service was slow, I received the wrong meal so waited another 20 minutes after my family was done eating. Not a great experience.
We had an excellent dinner with great service! The views were outstanding! We will be going back there next Saturday night.
They must have a new cook....the chowder and stew were a little off...whole clam bellies were delicious! They need to get a better Sauvignon Blanc......Oyster Bay is a much better wine and a little cheaper!
Make sure you make a reservation before coming! Fantastic place for sea food. Super fresh oyster. The sole is great and well combined with sea food stuff. Super tender after baking. Clams are clean and savory. Everything is perfectly seasoned. Plus the fantastic view.
Great food & service!
One meal was outstanding, the other was nothing as described on menu
Terrible draft coming from vent near floor - huge gap in the opening which heating did not compensate
Propane heaters were not on.
Service was outstanding!!
The fried clam roll was wonderful, not greasy, fried just right, no sand or grit and filled to overflowing. The price was excellent as well. Ambience was acceptable, all things considered. We will be back for certain.
This is a perfect lunch setting on these cool spring days: outdoors, great view, comfortable temperature, safe distances and masks.
Always excellent food.
All good . We enjoyed !
Definitely try if ever in Bristol Rhode Island
Service and food was great!
Most of the meals were good the baked fish was dry and the potatoes was very garlicky. That is the only complaint.
Sat in the covered patio, air was brisk but large heaters were running for warmth. The fried oysters were delicious and highly recommended. I had the shrimp scampi over linguini which was excellent. My husband had the baked seafood platter which was also fabulous. The only disappointment was they were out of whole belly clams. This restaurant has become a favorite and is a diamond in the ruff for excellent seafood!!
Incredible food little pricey but worth it all day, service was really good
Had a 7pm reservation Saturday night called to let them know we’d be 5 minutes late. Showed and waited 45 minutes for a table.
Food came and some of it was cold. Asked for side changes and got what was in the menu...
Disappointing ,will not be back for a while.
Appetizers were okay and prepared fast, the entrees took over 1 hour and all of them were cold. For the price I can eat better and for less.
We had appetizers and soup. The clam cakes were excellent. The clam chowder was unfortunately cold, it had a good taste, but temp was off.
There was no Hostess so getting seated was a bit chaotic. The waitress who seated us took care of the customers who came in after us first and told us she would be with is soon as she was talking someone else order, luckily the other waitress jumped in and gave us great service. When my fried clam plate finally came out it was cold! I ordered a Margarita with a double shot and could not taste the liquor. The over all experience was poor but the food was delicious so I gave them 3 stars. We live in town but will probably not go back, Quitos is a shadow of it's former self.
Had a great experience. The food was great and service wonderful
Seafood was excellent. Only issue is the restaurant isn’t fully opened yet and the service was quite sparse. Supposedly in April restaurant will be fully open outside on the patio. Don’t know what the plans are for reopening the inside restaurant. Bottom line, Quito’s staff is working hard to deliver service and great food now and will be even better when running on all cylinders. I know we will be heading down there every other Sunday afternoon for a great meal with a spectacular water view.
Food was excellent!!! Outdoor dining was warm and cozy, casual atmosphere, and the lobster bisque was phenomenal!!!
The new menu set up was awful, I loved the contactless idea but I had so many questions on how to use the app.
Delicious food great wait staff
The food was excellent and the service was great, too bad they close for the winter. They have the best clam cakes I have ever had. See you on the spring.
Very very good.. delicious food.. spectacular view.. excellent service!
Quito’s food never disappoints! Both our food and sunset view were amazing. Will certainly be back when it opens in the spring!
It was our first experience and looks like we went the last day before closing for the season. No gas for heating devices neither desserts were available. Food was good!
We were a party of seven and felt comfortably separated from other diners. The food was very tasty but it took quite a long time to get it.
The Bloody Marys there simply the best. The selection of food meets every taste (for example, fried clams with or without bellies) and the service was excellent. The waitress treated us with professionalism and concern. Definitely a restaurant to visit over again.
Terrific seafood faves! The fried whole belly clams are the best! Awesome service from super nice people that care about the service they provide. I'm a big fan of this place!
Food was fantastic. The only downside was
The table was so tiny. Very uncomfortable.
It was Saturday night and we seated ourselves after waiting in vain for someone to acknowledge us. We were a table of three and the room was barely one third filled. Service was almost non existent. One dish arrived with wrong sides. But more critically, the food, which we have known to be reliably competent for 20 years, was just plain horrible. Welcome to dining in the age of COVID. If you can’t deliver an edible plate of pan seared fish and you are a seafood specialist restaurant, you should hang it up. At one point we had to send someone into the inner sanctum (where we discovered a group of unmasked servers filling condiments) to request additional salad dressing since our server had disappeared for the evening. It had taken some convincing to get all of us to venture out for dinner during the pandemic, and none of us will again any time soon. This was a major disappointment and not worth the risk. It pains me to say it as we have long been supporters of the restaurant. No more.
Very good seafood. Very good service. Quick to be seated, however it was off season.
