The restaurant features a contemporary take on the traditional styles and ingredients of Mexico's distinct regions served in a sharable style.
Quiote also includes a subterranean mezcal bar, Todos Santos, featuring a curated selection of mezcales and cocktails.
What Insiders Are Saying
Quiote is a Mexican spot in Logan Square that works for just about anything. Come for coffee, on a date, or just to have some mezcal at the bar.
Great food. Supper loud atmosphere. Service was slow and tapas were brought out one at a time (which is normally fine, but there was such a long lag between the plates)
We had to wait 20 minutes past the reservation for our table. The style is decadent small plates. You have to squeeze in to tables (feels even tight for a petite woman), the noise level is an issue for a table size more than 2 people. One of our drink orders was mixed up twice. So we already had our second small plate before we had our drinks. We would not come here again.
Interesting menu - Mexico City Mexican which is great. Snapper ceviche, avocado salad & lamb carnitas were all very tasty. But the best part of our meal was the dessert - tres leches, so amazing! We’ll be back, loved our dinner!
Great place. Somewhat limited menu but elevated food way beyond typical Mexican.
Had a great time at Quiote. Food was great as well as the drinks. Would highly recommend
Without advertisement we went to hang on the patio and eat some food - they were doing a cookout so we weren't able to order off the menu. Drinks were good and the service was stellar. Bummed we couldn't order food from the menu, that I've been told is excellent.
Visited Quiote for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was empty. After checking in we were seated very quickly. The service was very slow. It took at least 25 minutes to order and receive our first round of drinks. Food was average at best; avocado crab toast had almost no crab, chips for chilaquiles were soggy, and the brisket quesadilla didn't have the brisket in it, simply laid on top. We liked the potatoes and because we couldn't get churros, settled for a cinnamon roll that we shared with the table. Quiote is a cute space, maybe dinner is a better option.
Great food with fabulous flavor. The service was also top notch. Will be back for sure and will also recommend to others.
I brought my family to Quiote to celebrate my graduation. My family can be reluctant to try new foods, but they loved everything we ordered, both food and drinks. The staff was attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'm glad I chose Quiote to host my picky eaters!
Fantastic. Service. Food. Drinks. Menu was interesting and well-executed. Great great experience.
Amazing. Delicious. Can't wait to go back!
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Every dish was unique but still traditional. The inverted crab tostada was bright & fresh with just hint of spice. The lamb carnitas taco was probably my favorite — it was perfectly seasoned & had a great char. The avocado salad was a great palate cleanser & the final dish (sirloin) was cooked to a perfect rare & the black garlic mole & chimichurri were amazing. We had the churro for dessert & it was fried perfectly. (I wish the chile peanut butter was a little spicier but that’s my only nit to pick.) Drinks were great too. Overall a delicious meal from beginning to end & an impressive showing from a relatively young restaurant. We’ll definitely be back.
Food is always amazing
Quiote offers Mexican cuisine at a very high level. Best Chorizo you will ever have. Drinks and wine are also at a high level. Go you’ll enjoy it.
Fantastic food and cocktails and friendly knowledgeable staff.
This game from a recommendation from a friend in London. He insisted that when we visited in Seattle we come try the food. Stuck at the airport hotel, we opted for a ride back to the airport, a trip to a rental car center, and then drove to your restaurant.
We could not have been happier. The food was amazing. Service from Leo, top notch. His energy and passion for what he does shows. Why this place isn’t sold out is beyond me. I wish you all only the best of success in all you do.
The food was delicious and the service was really great. We did the chefs menu where they chose a bunch of dishes for us. We ate a lot of delicious items that I probably wouldn’t have picked off the menu. The tres leches dessert was amazing!!
This was our second visit to Quiote but will NOT be our last! Besides outstanding Mescal choices and margaritas, the dinner menu was a fabulous succession of small share-able plates. One after the other we were blown away with the flavors and creativity. The waitress and entire wait staff were superb. Informative, attentive, unobtrusive. Our group of 5 enjoyed the heck out of this evening and spent the following day recounting the wonderful plates to one another. Great job Quiote!!!!
We were traveling through Chicago and had already done some research on this restaurant, noticed they had won an award and also they were recommended by another restaurant owner in Michigan. We booked it through Open Table as they seemed to fill up and we didn't want to miss this opportunity. Food was outstanding. Service just as good. Had an interesting downstairs that apparently was a bar with food service from a food truck parked on their property. Really a neat idea. Waitperson said we should check it out but since we were more than satisfied with our meal chose not to. Next time in time we will.
The food is amazing in that each dish has so much flavor with different tastes. Everything is delicious and in addition to their cocktails, the winds are great too.
Mole chicken and cocktails were great. Very friendly service!
Great food, fun staff, cool environment. Highly recommend!
Fantastic tacos. Super. Great find.
Food was fantastic. Service top notch and very attentive. Warm, beautiful space.
Amazing food and cocktails! Never disappoints. We love the avocado salad and crab tostada
We loved the food and our service was excellent! We will be back soon!
Delicious cocktails and food, unexpected flavor combinations that were delightful and well balanced, staff was knowledgeable and attentive, will def be back!
Love the food and everyone who works there is amazing!!
Quiote really amazed me! I've heard good things over and over again about this restaurant and am disappointed that I didn't make it until now. Really AMAZING food! Fun, inventive, and so delicious.
Quiote uses ingredients and methods that are familiar to eaters of Mexican cuisine, but it may have been elevated by technical sophistication and borrowings from other (one of our dishes featured a piece of smoked fish more reminiscent of the classy Jewish deli) into something new. High marks for creativity and execution.
We come here as often as possible. It is consistently one of the best meals in the city. The menu is always evolving, but both the food and drinks are always phenomenal. Cannot recommend this place more strongly.
Great food fun environment
Outstanding chicken with Mole sauce
Always great flavors and unique dishes. Great beverage program as well.
I definitely enjoyed the creative pairings and tapas style dining. I was able to try several dishes and still have room for dessert. I had a delicious hibiscus mezcal margarita and the service was outstanding. Definitely would go back with a larger group.
Food was very good along with the service but very overpriced for the portions you received. If they fixed the value (portion) it would be perfect. Unfortunately nothing was done for our friends birthday that we mentioned besides a candle in the dessert that he ordered and paid for.
Previously went for dinner and loved it. Went to brunch and it was fabulous. So many good choices. Nice size portions and reasonably priced.
Six of us went and we all loved our food. Will happily go back.
Delicious and unique Mexican that is always spot on. We love coming back for the great cocktails, curated wine list and extremely delicious food.
Took some out of town friends here for brunch and it lived up to my expectations, having been for brunch and dinner (once each) before. The food is absolutely delicious, the bar and waitstaff are both great - super friendly, nice, and accommodating. Brunch is a little on the expensive side but worth it. Dinner is, in my opinion, a little bit exorbitantly priced. Wish I could come for dinner more often!
Excellent food and service in an upbeat environment. Next time we’ll stay longer to check out the mezcal bar! Looking forward to going back.
Drinks were great, service was slow but good. Very few vegetarian options, and not a single entree. For my meat eating friends it’s a better find.
