   The food was fresh and prepared in a healthy manner. It had excellent flavors that were clean. Service was very good and the wine was fine. The appetizers of Octopus was tender and had an great flavor balance with the potatoes and spicy tang with Panca. "Ask your server". The Red Snapper entree was poached in a lovely seafood broth......and we had the stir fried rice with chicken, that complemented our white selection to the end. :)

   This is expensive for what it is. Fried rice was gummy. Lamb shank was bland (like it was boiled in plain water) sitting in mushy beans with little taste. There was a little bit of pickled onion but no real picante seasoning. The empanada, highly touted, was a very dry cornmeal pocket filled with pork (tasted okay), dry potatoes and dry carrots. Definitely something to miss. We had a Groupon certificate which mitigated some of the pain. The owner/waiter was hyper and aggressive pushing us to order what we ordered by describing everything in superlative terms.

   We made a reservation for 7:45, were not seated until 8:15. We were offered a free non alcoholic beverage in exchange for the wait. We were told they did not have their iPad at the time of opening and they were not aware our reservation, which was made more than 24 hrs in advance. They took our order while we waited so that we could be 'served right away.' We did not eat until after 9 pm. The food was EXCELLENT, we truly enjoyed our meals.. but at this point we were starving. Their restaurant week menu was not a deal, if you added up the items from the regular menu it all came out the same, not to mention the empanada starter was so small and you only got one.

   Need additional wait staff to service diners. Wait time was a bit long. The waiter was hustling, just understaffed.

   We had a reservation but arrived late, luckily they had a couple of open tables so we were seated immediately. Wait service was attentive and each course came out timely. We started our meal: yuca frita which were a little plain and not much taste. We also had the ceviche mixto which was spicy, in a good way, and quite good. Entrees: Jalea de Mariscos - deep fried seafood plate, again a bit plain with not much taste. Pescado Sudado - enjoyed this much more, lots of fish and the sauce/broth was so savory.

   Amazing food and I made my next reservation before I even left the table. All that said it IS NOT a fancy restaurant like I thought. The wine glasses on the table are mostly for show. Our server was energetic and was really helpful with navigating the menu. I got the lamb, I know lamb can be tricky, and I have a higher standard than most, but their lamb is excellent. I would not recommend for a fancy night out but I think I found my new weekend brunch spot.

   We went with a party of five for a birthday celebration. We had an early reservation, and it was the day after Valentine's Day, so it wasn't crowded. We all liked the nice open atmosphere and the view of the kitchen. We started by sharing five of the appetizers. They were all outstanding! One in our party is a vegetarian and there was enough variety with the appetizers to meet her needs. Additionally, when she was ready to order they were willing to do whatever she wanted to meet her needs. I had the paella. I'm used to a traditional paella - this wasn't. But I loved it. Everyone else in our party was equally satisfied with their dinner. Service was outstanding. We never had to wait on any drink refills. Any questions we had about any menu items were answered immediately - no running back to ask the chef. Great recommendations about menu items. Again, outstanding! I thought the prices were very reasonable. We shared five appetizers, five dinners, and drinks (no alcohol) and I expected a much higher tab. We all plan on returning. I saw a few dinner items that I want to try - even though it will be difficult to stay away from the paella. I also plan on going back and making a meal of the appetizers we didn't try the first time around.

   Went for Valentines Day and had a wonderful time. Service was quick and the food was delicious!

   This is an authentic taste of Peru in Sonoma County. All the food was flavorful and well presented. The menu has a nie variety and if you wanted to make a 'tapas' style meal out of the small plates/appetizers you could totally do that. I was surprised at the spice in one of the dishes; not blown away, but really there was no indication on the menu it would pack punch. That saying I would order it again. Ask the staff if you are sesitive. The ambiance is lively, and the tile floors make it a little noisy. We will definitely return to Quinua.
