About Quinto La Huella
Introducing the first outpost of Uruguay’s beachfront restaurant, Parador La Huella, as the signature eatery of EAST, Miami. Our urban reinvention, Quinto La Huella, offers a unique fire cooking method with a wood fire parrilla centered at the heart of our kitchen and includes a wood fire oven, sushi counter, and outdoor dining experience. Our menu is a blend of carefully planned, but simple dishes made with the best ingredients. Quinto La Huella Ratings and Reviews
As La Huella is of the newest restaurant in Brickell, sp my wife insisted on dining here for her birthday. As such, i made a notation when i made my reservation thru OpenTable. Figured, to double check, so i call the restaurant in the morning of her birthday, to once again make sure we made the celebration special. Hostess told me, not to worry, they'll take care of it. Wanting to make sure all went 'as planned" when we arrived, i pulled the hostess aside and reminded her of my wife's birthday. Again, NO WORRIES will take care of it, and well celebrate when your desserts are brought out.. OK so with all this planning, you'd think all would be taken care of... NOTHING, when i asked waiter what happened. He could only come up with "SORRY I DID NOT KNOW"... VERY DISAPPOINTING. In as much as the restaurant comped desserts and apologized, the damage was done...
Hip without the condescension. Professionally efficient hostesses with lovely, welcoming smiles. Wait-staff who a) were great ambassadors for the restaurant, b) genuinely wanted to provide the best possible product and c) had a good sense of humor. Superb food, beginning to end, full stop. Energizing music, great people watching, a confident clientele, all mixing to create an enjoyable ambience.
Food is beyond overpriced, very very small portions with lots of inexpensve ingredients and a tiny piece of the real thing. boquerones toasts with a 1/4 of boqueron piece. Then boiled egg and lettuce.
Tuna tartar with about one onze tuna rest taro chips
No I would not recommend it there are much better prices and food in miami to come to this place again
This was my second time at Quinto. Contrary to my first experience it was pretty disappointing. First they tried to sit us in a dreadful spot (we made reservations in dvance). They should put no one there. Then service was slow, not friendly at all and the food was unfortunately not good at all, especially given the high price. Maybe it was just lack of luck but I thought this was a very disappointing experience
Overall, the experience was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The space lacked warmth and style. The food, while good, lacked personality. I have enjoyed better meals in Uruguay and at many other venues in Miami in this price range. Sorry, but nothing entices me to return.
Buena, pero nada de especial. La sala es un galpón sin ambientación. La comida, pasable pero con nada de personalidad. Es posible comer mucho mejor en Uruguay o en varios otros lugares in Miami de categoría. Nada me tienta a volver.
Great mashed potatoes. The short rib was tough, chewy. The appetizers were honestly kind of gross. One appetizer was a cheese ball with milk and some walnuts thrown on it. One was an onion tart and was good.
The cheesecake was made of goat milk and our guests who actually like goat milk wouldn’t touch it.
Service was pretty slow though the waiter was very nice. The prices were at least double what it’s worth. Our meal topped $500 and the food would have been better at Outback. There are many other better high end restaurants in the area.
Lastly the noise level was ridiculous. It’s a slow meal where you’d like to talk to friends but for some odd reason there is a DJ pumping loud dance music with no dance floor. Am I at a club or high end restaurant. Pick one.
Stay away from this place. The Managment is arrogant and the food is low quality. Stay away from this place. The Managment is arrogant and the food is low quality. Stay away from this place.
