Our food is refined takes on traditional pub fare, our bar carefully curated, and our space open to all.
Quinns used to have a great burger. I thought it was the best burger in Seattle - very simple and well executed. On top of that, they had great fries and a wonderful beer menu - all the things to make a great burger experience. It had been awhile since we had been to Quinn's and, while surprised that we were able to grab a table at 830p on Saturday, was excited to order a burger. Unfortunately, it took us 40 minutes to get our appetizers and, about 2 minutes after they arrived, the main dishes arrived too. (our server apologized and ended up comp-ing the appetizers - very nice of them!) The burger arrived without the advertised bacon and the fries were not so great. The meat was cooked well, the bun fresh (potato roll, though, the old one had brioche), the bacon was missing. Quinn's, bring back the classic burger!
Great food and fun drinks. Easy and great for a weeknight casual dinner or date.
It was a lovely evening and the staff was great and attentive!
Second time here and enjoyed it as much as the first. Nice cocktails and the wild boar sloppy joe is fabulous.
Honestly, Quinn's has been one of our favorite places for years. But over the last year I've noticed a decline in quality. The Bone Marrow (one of their great dishes) was underwhelming - the quantity and quality of the dish used to be much better. The prices are higher (probably to match the competition) but quality has gone down. It's just too bad. Will need to find a new go-to when we visit Seattle.
One of my favorite places in cap. hill and their missed opportunity cocktail is addictive.
The food was over priced and not very good. Both my steak and lamb were so rare it was cold and couldn’t chew them they they brought it back out and because it was the same meet cooked again it was incredibly tough. Not a fine dining place but fine dining prices. It was my birthday so was kind of disappointed but at least they took a couple things off the bill. The only thing that was good was the fish and chips. Server was a nice guy though but seemed to be overwhelmed and it was only 6pm.
Quaint ambiance, friendly, good food. Limited menu. Cocktails good.
Food was great, as usual. Felt like server was rushing us to order, but he was prompt.
The overall experience was fantastic. The ambiance was comfortable and the pub scenery had a welcoming attitude. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. I had steak frites, and the food was delicious. My only real complaints were that the noise level was too loud. I had to shout at people next to me and strain my ears to hear them. That and the area around the front door smelled like a used bathroom stall. But aside from that, I had a great time here. I would definitely come back and/or recommend it to people.
The staff was friendly and accommodating but not intrusive. The wine recommendation was spot on and the food was fun and delicious.
We had a nice dinner, but the whole restaurant smelled like a urinal. I almost pulled our party out of there but we stuck it out. I don't know if it always smells this way, but it was very distracting. Everything else was good.
Horrible smell when we walked in. Like a barn or toilet. Didn’t abate when moving past the door but we eventually got used to it.
Scallops and carrots were great. Burger was pretty good but had no greens of any kind - fell sort of flat for a $20 burger.
Great octopus and Ciopinno (sp?). Good craft beer selection. Attentive and friendly service.
Great place to eat with your friends!
Delicious food, great atmosphere, and fantastic cocktails. You can’t go wrong with this place!
Waiter was awesome. Food awesome. Must visit
Poor value for money. Slow wait service. They got our order wrong and were considerably late delivering the food.
Hello, Thank you for your review, it's feedback like this which makes us grow and improve! We would like to apologize for the poor service you received, and if you'll give us the opportunity, we would love to make things right. Sincerely, Peter Kim Owner, Quinn's Pub
we were seated at the time the reservation was made, service was good and so was the food. we would go back.
Everything here was just okay. The service was okay, even through they weren’t busy for a nice Saturday night (lots of empty tables and only 2 people at the bar). The cocktails were nothing to write home about. A good portion of our food was unexpectedly “charred,” which is not my forte. Definitely not worth the $153 we spent on 3 cocktails, ½ dozen oysters, octopus salad, a sloppy joe, and short rib.
The food is delicious, especially their burger and fries. Quinn's is a great location if you are going to Neumos or Barboza. Quinn's is also fun if you like to "people watch" as both floors of the restaurant have nice lighting and views of Capital Hill life at Pike and 10th. However, when one of our party tried to get a drink at the bar, they were questioned as to whether they were eating at the restaurant. It is confusing that a reatai with a BAR seemed bothered by someone ordering at the bar.
Really nice time with out adult kids at this pub/restaurant. Great menu made it hard to choose. I had the pork schnitzel with pickled red cabbage and spetzle. It was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Recommended
We go back every time we’re in Seattle. Really a great place with great food.
I’ve had dinner twice here while on a business trip to Seattle, and food, beers and wines have all been perfect.
Service was also courteous and quick in an informal, casual ambience that really recalls gastropubs in Britain, where I live.
Please note that portions can be quite large, and when on my second visit I ordered the bone marrow listed among the “small plates”, I was surprised when I was served three massive bones with a lot of toasted bread, to be fair my dinner could have ended there if I hadn’t ordered a main too, which I could barely finish.
Definitely a place to visit if you’re in Seattle, the area where it is located is also quite lively with other bars worth a visit either before or after dining at Quinn’s.
Fun girls night out! Good portions, good service, amazing cocktails
The food was “meaty”. The servers were super helpful, able to split up our tabs without a hitch.
The food, drinks and atmosphere were really nice. Would happily recommend if I could pick the server - anyone other than the guy who collected a hefty tip for no work and being rude. Forced gratuity sucks when your server doesn't even try.
Service was good. We wanted a lively place with quality food and that’s what we got! Schnitzel was good- but not traditionally cooked. Pasta was excellent. Waiter was knowledgeable and easy going.
Decent quality food, but a little expensive for “pub” food
Quinn's is a great place for a burger and fun night out with friends. If you want an energetic, lively, and urban place, this is the place to be.
On Sunday night, March 3rd 2019 I dined with two friends visiting from Spain and we were all knocked out by our food, drinks and service. The new owners took over Quinn's a year ago and they have brought it back to top form. (It's actually been on top form for a while now.) Chef Miles James and his team create outstanding dishes; the current winter menu includes the best Coq au Vin I've eaten. Also on the winter menu is a terrific Cassoulet (get both dishes while you can!) and the Scallops are to die for. They are perfectly cooked with a creative and flavorful set. Kat provided excellent service, Zach's bar skills are first rate and Nicholas came out from the kitchen to visit with us after his shift. My friends kept raving about the experience; I haven't heard so many accolades from diners in a very long time. Music can be loud, though, and we asked if they would lower the volume a bit because we were having to shout to one another. They were kind enough to accommodate our request and I believe they struck a happy medium. We were grateful.
First of all thank you Quinn's for allowing reservations. It's nice to know that a table will be waiting for you when you arrive. This is the second time my husband and I have visited Quinn's and their food just gets better each time. During this visit we tried the the cauliflower appetizer, the winter citrus salad, and the coq au vin. Each dish had a unique flavor that really matched the ingredients and balanced the rest of the dish. The cauliflower was clean, healthy, and most importantly not drenched in oil. It came with this amazing sauce that paired really well with the cauliflower. The winter citrus salad was bright, tangy, and refreshing. I loved the vinaigrette that they used, absolutely delicious. The highlight of our meal was definitely the coq au vin. The chicken was cooked perfectly, mouthwatering and tender. Other ingredients in this dish that made it dynamite were the pearled onions, pieces of bacon, mushrooms, potatoes, and gravy. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed each entree. I highly recommend Quinn's.
Best Pub Food In Seattle!!!!
The server was attentive.
Yummy! We arrived early and w fewer people then initial reservation. They took us regardless and sat us immediately. Great meal.
Wonderful food, excellent drinks, and great service!!
Good food. Prices are what you'd expect for the Cap Hill area.
Our waiter was fabulous and we ended up doing an after dinner scotch tasting that was encourage by his recommendation.
Coq au Vin delicious. The candlelit table and outstanding service made a good night into a great night. Make sure you share this food with someone special.
Quinn's presents classic pub-style food in an elevated manner. Each dish receives a lot of attention and is delicious to the core. This is a great place to catch up with friends for a drink and a bite or to take a date on date night!
