I can’t say enough good things about Quince. The service and food are incredible. The atmosphere is beautiful and not stuffy at all, which I find with many Michelin Star restaurants. Everything flowed perfectly and I would not change a thing. Thank you for an unforgettable dining experience!
Quince fully deserves its 3 star Michelin rating. The tasting menu was spectacular. we had the wine pairing which was excellent, a little too white leaning for our taste but still really good. Service was absolutely first rate.
Me and my date went in with high expectations and every one of them were met. Our server was extremely attentive and explained everything nicely. As one of the first Michelin Star restaurants we have been to, it was a great experience.
Amazing experience. Very expensive but worth it for something really special.
Great meal, beautiful cutlery and plates...attentive service...once per season is great as they completely change the menu quarterly
Just breathtakingly perfect in every way you could think of. Come here if you would like to experience the night of your life, if you love amazing food and exceptional rare wines- only if you love feeling special and indulging in only the finest ingredients majestically and thoughtfully balanced together in perfect harmony.
It was awesome. We thought French Laundry was great and exceeded our expectations. Now we have tried QUINCE and it beats FL by threefold. We were amazed and super delighted to have celebrated our ninth year anniversary with Quince. Thank you all for the beautiful evening. Cheers!
Absolutely stellar dining experience with polished service and professional chefs pushing out the best food in the city. Every bit deserving of all three stars.
Great environment. Food and service were exceptional. We really enjoyed last night.
Absolutely elegant and well attended from the moment we walked in the door to the hot chocolate in the cold on our way out. I was surprised by the $30 cheese supplement on the bill for what I assumed was an included course, but it was SO worth it!
Wonderful. Incredible service!
This may be one of the best restaurants in the world. We have eaten at Noma, The French Laundry, Per Se, Gustu, The Test Kitchen, Geranium and many more and Quince certainly belongs among this crowd. In particular the wine pairings were superlative.
I loved this place! The staff made me feel welcome and pampered from the minute I stepped through the door to the minute of departure. The food was terrific, though pricey. And they even made special accommodations for my baby.
This restaurant is world class.
The best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. Everything is amazing. Staff is unbelievable. Food above a five star rating. We fly to be San Francisco just to have dinner at Quince.
Good so happy
The best experience from start to finish.
Exceptional food experience with a 69-page wine list. Each plate is prepared to perfection and the flavors of each dish explode in your mouth and evoke memories you thought you had forgotten.
Absolute Sublime experience. From the service to the food, all I can say is Perfection!
Three stars are well deserved! First class experience from the moment you enter until you receive your jackets and car from the valet upon departure. Every course was well balanced, visually appealing and satisfying to your taste buds. Service was the perfect amount of attentive without being intrusive.
Met with friends we haven’t seen in six months. The foo, the presentation and the service was outstanding. Great dining experience.
This was my 4th time dinning at Quince. I have always had a wonderful experience. My husband and I as well as our 4 friends had a great experience this time as well. The service was excellent as always and the food was very good. An amazing extensive wine list. Only I am not a fan of chef's tasting menu. Unfortunately that was the only choice at Quince this time. I wish we had the choice like in the past.
Fits the 3 Michelin star description. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service.
Fantastic service! We had our valentines dinner here and they gave us a wonderful time. My girlfriend has a dairy allergy and they were more than accommodating providing her with a seamless dining experience. The sommelier provided great recommendations. Our only caution is that this is a massive meal! Be aware that you will be FULL when you leave. 10+ courses will do that to you. 😋
Quince is worth it's 3 Michelin stars. Impeccable service and a wonderfully thought out menu that leaves you satisfied, not stuff. Every dish was a delight. Would definitely go back.
This was honestly the greatest dining experience my wife and I have ever had. Been to Micheal Minna, Gary Danko, etc. All great restaurants, but nothing like our evening at Quince! All the staff were great and personable. They surprised us by serving one of our courses in the kitchen as we got to see the magic of a 3 Star Michelin Kitchen! Even got a picture with the man himself Micheal Tusk! Can’t wait to return for another amazing dinning experience!
This was an unforgettable experience. The food was imaginative and wonderfully delicious. A highlight was having one course served in the kitchen where we got to see the action up close. The service was friendly and attentive. Just beware the $80 “seventies” Manhattan.
This place is magical. And not because of the perfectly executed 12 course meal, or the exquisite minimalist decor; but, rather, because of the personalized, focused and non-fussy service which is undoubtedly beyond compare. At the end of our five hour Valentine's dinner, we had created a close relationship with all of the waitstaff. We quite literally felt as though we had just dined with family members. My one complaint: too many tables too close together. For the amount of dollars spent on such a spectacular meal, one shouldn't be forced to share the experience with absolute strangers sitting 2 feet away.
Exceeded our expectations! This restaurant came highly recommended to us. We had a fabulous time. The service was superb and the interior beautiful. All dishes were outstanding. It was not only creative and delicious but sophisticated and well plated.
Amber was accommodating to our need when we made the reservation and Gregg introduced us to the menu in a very gracious way.
This restaurant well represents his three Michelin stars.
Amazing from beginning to end. The course in the kitchen was awesome.
Got to go into the kitchen and enjoy our pasta course while watching the staff work
- Great food
- Time between courses was too long
- Servers not attentive to every detail especially during period between courses e.g. refilling tea pot
- Seaters are fantastic!!!!
They didn't have records of our reservation, other than this, the overall was great.
After dining here I don't understand why this restaurant has three Michelin stars.
Service: Unorganized. Between checking in and placing our wine and dinner order (15 minutes), 4 different staffers came over - one to give us menus and take our food order, one to give us a wine list, one to take our wine order and one to pour us water. Our canapes were served before our wine was poured. The courses were not well paced...wait times between courses increased as the night progressed. THE WORST PART: I discovered the next day that my card was overcharged by $800 for my tab. It was a $500 dinner and I was charged over $1300!!! I called the restaurant and a manager explained that the server made a mistake, and that the corrected charge would clear in a few days. The error was eventually corrected, but what an inconvenience.
Food/Presentation: I was only wowed by 4 of the 12 courses served - beet-wrapped black cod, lobster & black trumpet garganelli, pumpkin bottoni, and green circle chicken. The rest of the courses seemed uninventive, as if I had tasted them elsewhere for a fraction the price. Lots of reviews raved about the caviar pumpkin pie dish...I thought the crust tasted old, like it had been in the fridge too long. I just picked off the caviar. Presentation was repetitive...the chef was clearly fond of foam. So much foam. The dessert cart was an odd touch. Not what I expected for a high-end restaurant, but I went with it and sampled 4 of the bite-sized options. Each was either bland or slightly stale.
I'm not a food snob...I've only eaten at a handful of high-end restaurants (meals + wine over $500) for very special occasions. At each of those places I felt that I received a what I paid for: impeccable service, exciting dishes, great wine...an experience to remember and recommend to friends. Quince is the first exception. Truly disappointing.
If you're in SF, go to Lazy Bear instead.
Always a memorable experience. We have been to many Michelin Star Restaurants all over the US and Europe and Quince is among the best. Stand out service and ambience.
Superb food people and experience
It was a fixed menu so you had no choices, and was 10 courses. So way too much food, and ended up costing $500 per head for a meal we did not enjoy.
Most amazing evening my partner and I ever had. Friendly knowledgeable staff that made a wonderful birthday memory for my partner with the ambiance and flavors.
Deserves all the Michelin stars they already have
Excellent all the way
Good service. Good food
