   Lovely meal, good surroundings, A bit noisier than usual with Christmas Parties though! Great staff as always. A pleasure to visit.

   Unfortunately I had to wear my coat throughout the meal as it was really cold. The staff, who were lovely, did bring a heater but that didn't work. The restaurant was empty so there wasn't a great deal of atmosphere but it was decorated lovely with christmas trees and lights. My Biscoff cheesecake was fab.

   Busy, and popular. Staff were lovely, couldnt ask for better. Food was average, good enough. We had the carvery. Roast potatoes seemed like frozen ones and yorkshires to.

   We dined for my husbands 40th birthday this evening and the ladies serving us were brilliant! They arranged for a candle in my husbands dessert to help celebrate his birthday and were spot on keeping the surprise a secret! The kitchen could do with ditching some of the dishes and bowls the meals are served with, I see no need for so many and some tables do not have the space to discard them! Crème Brûlée for dessert was DELICIOUS!! Never had baileys in a Crème Brûlée and it was amazing! Overall we had a lovely meal and the staff were all lovely!

    An excellent Sunday carvery although with non eating customers passing through from the Bar to the Garden it was a bit draughty and 'busy'. However, the staff are a joy. Also Chef didn't off crackling when carving the Pork joint which was a shame.
