Great service and great food, and the view only made it better.
Justus is the best waiter.
Outstanding service and good food. Great place to enjoy the falls while visiting with friends
My family and I were vacationing in Niagara Falls and went to this restaurant for our last night to have dinner. The service was amazing. Food was delicious, but the real reason we went here was for the views. The falls were lit up and we could see the fire works display from our table. I suggest being seated at around 8:00-8:30 ish in order to see the lit up falls (8:40) and fireworks at 10:00. Perfect night! This was my entire family's favorite thing that we did on vacation.
PS our daughters are 9 and 6. Great kids menu and pre-fixed menu option for adults.
Our server, Carly, was absolutely wonderful! As was the food and the view of the falls!!!
The restaurant though should offer some sort of parking validation for costumers spending over $200 on their meal, paying $22 to park at the restaurant was ridiculous!!
Beautiful location. Great view of the Falls. They brought my daughter a special dessert for her birthday. Wonderful experience.
Food was ok but the views were worth the trip We got a table outside with amazing views of the falls.
Wonderful all the way around. I would definitely recommend this place and I plan to return if we visit Niagara again.
Wonderful restaurant went Saturday night but it was so good we went back Sunday night. Loved the way the food is locally sourced and everything tasted so good and fresh. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful with any requests and made us feel special. We were very fortunate our table on both nights gave us panoramic views of the falls, so you just couldn't beat it.
I heard about this place from a friend who said we really needed to go.
We were in town celebrating Mother’s Day and while they did not have a special Mother’s Day meal, it actually made it even better. We were served by Bridgette and she took great care of us. The weather was not great but sitting outside with the views, the window coverings and heaters, you couldn’t even tell how cold it was.
For apps, we ordered the fish tacos, the spicy bean meatballs and the arancini. They were all super delicious!
Main meals were chicken, turkey panini and white fish sandwich with fries. Everything was seasoned very well, crispy and hot! The kale slaw that came with the sandwiches tasty very good.
Dessert we ordered the raspberry gelato (seasonal and local from Clifton Hill) and the maple mouse cake. The mousse cake was light and tasty and the gelato was soooo good.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back soon for other meals.
This is my favorite place on either side of the falls. The food is great. The view amazing. Our server Chris was friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about items on both the food and drink menu. Torrey, who helped him with our large group was also great. I would never visit the falls without eating here.
Planning a birthday lunch, we started out at the Floral Showcase (paid $20.00 maximum for parking as I thought we could move around the different parking lots to find out we couldn't) - the parking was the only disappointing thing as we had to pay another $20.00 to park at the restaurant. The food was great and the service was also excellent - not the full menu that was listed on the website - and they didn't have the wine in stock that we would have liked but our server was excellent and they made the birthday celebration a success. Would definitely go back and know now about the parking fees!
had the prix fixe trout. Large piece, tasty. Mashed potatoes a little salty. vegetables great. ravioli appetizer was delicious. Ice cream with fruit was good. My daughter had a huge salad, liked the blueberry balsamic dressing. She enjoyed her other dish. A high chair was provided and we were at a window with a good view. It was interesting how to get in using a stroller. For a wheelchair or stroller you must go in the back and go through several doors. The staff helped.
A pleasant winter surprise with Table Rock restaurant closed for renovations.
I love the ambience of this place , comfortable & cozy . Had to come back after the pop up dinner there the food is amazing . Will definitely be going back . The Salmon dish was very flavorful with that hint of maple, mouthwatering! The fact that it was Valentine's, we were presented with ginormous chocolate covered strawberries and a beautiful perfect rose that made my night. Service was well-timed and super friendly, They go beyond their way to help with anything!
I was very pleased with the queen Victoria Place restaurant. They gave us a glass of sparkling wine. Then after dessert they presented me with a red rose, and both of us with chocolate dipped strawberries! Lovely!
Had I known this was an outdoor restaurant I would not have made the reservation.. Freezing cold and high wind made for a brutal time.
Update your website to explain that this is an outdoor venue.
Perfect place to enjoy good food while overlooking Niagara Falls.
My wife and i where in Canada for the Weekend and stayed in Niagra on the Lake, the Bed And Breakfast was just fantastic. I had made reservations a good 2 weeks in advance for Lunch and asked for a seat at the rail. When we got there we where told it was not possible, I said we did not mind waiting but no. So we sat down at atable and noticed that their was seating on the rail. Also people where leaving their seats, I guess they just did not want to be bothered with us. As this had become a tradition for us at Anniversary time we where just a little disappointed.
Very nice waitress! Good wine. Could have been a nice view, but the weather had just turned chilly, and the plastic tarps were in place. You could look through the tarps for a great view of the falls. Then many other people decided they too would come behind my husbands seat and try to look through the tarps for a view of the falls. It became a little annoying but we didn’t complain. Also, the food was not very warm or tasty. We were both disappointed with the food, just expecting something more.
Queen Victoria Place is a wonderful venue with excellent food, thoughtful service, and a fabulous view! We loved it!
We had 6 people in our party - Vanessa was our waitress - she is outstanding - very attentive and knowledgeable. The Cheddar and Lager soup is wonderful as is the Beef Barley soup. I ordered the Pork Chop. I ate the first few bites and while it was a bit soft and wet, it was good. The other half of the chop was raw - totally raw! Vanessa took it back to be recooked and returned with it in about 2 minutes, nicely set up again with veggies etc. I took a small bite, turned the meat over (it was covered in gravy again) and it was still totally raw throughout. I sent it back. It was thrown on the grill for no more than 30 seconds. Pork cannot be eaten raw. Vanessa was very apologetic. She offered me a dessert on the house. I chose the donut with ice cream and fruit. It looked lovely. We all shared it. The donut was rock hard. The others in my party had the lamb, chicken and noodle bowls - all enjoyed their meals. Presentation was nice. The view was beautiful - perfect for the fireworks over the falls. We left a hefty tip for Vanessa as she was superb in her duties and seemed to enjoy what she was doing, as well as being so helpful. I would probably return to this restaurant but would be very careful with the meat.
The service was excellent, the view was spectacular and the food was delicious. So glad we found Queen Victoria’s for dinner.
My wife and I decided we wanted to have a nice dinner with a nice view of the falls. We chose Queen Victria’s place Restaurant because of the location, view of the falls, and the menu looked very good. We made a good choice.
We started with soup as it was a bit cool and rainy that evening. My wife had the Lager Cheddar soup and I had the Broccoli Cheddar soup. We both enjoyed our appetizers. For our main course I had the Char-Grilled Maple Brined Pork Chop and my wife had the Roasted Chicken Supreme. Both entrees were cooked well and very good. For dessert I had the seasonal pie (apple cherry) and my wife had the apple cake both were tasty and were a good way to finish off our very good meal.
The service was very good and our server Abbey was a real sweetheart. Abbey helped make our night very enjoyable.
Meal was nice. But pricy. Skimped on the potatoes.
My son and I visited Niagara Falls on the way to Toronto and stopped in for lunch after a long flight. Queen Victoria Place did not disappoint! We hit the trifecta - great food, prompt, attentive service and an outstanding view of Horseshoe Falls. We will definitely return on our next visit to Niagara!
The food was not good by any means, but I do not regret choosing to go here for dinner. Sitting on the patio watching the lights on the falls change colors was just beautiful.
Views were amazing and that’s basically what we paid for. The food was not very good at all. My mom not myself ate more than half our meals because it just wasn’t good. We asked the waitress several questions about the menu or if she would recommend a certain item, each time she replied with she didn’t eat that or eat an ingredient in the dish. If it weren’t for the views, I would have been furious for how much we paid for the meal.
The food was delicious. Service great. The view is priceless.
Wonderful service and fabulous view of the falls from the outdoor dining space. Food was delicious. I was sitting next to the railing of the patio and a flower box so I did have some bees that kept buzzing around. Highly recommend this place but if you have a bee allergy sit futhwr away from the edge.
We enjoyed our anniversary lunch here on the outdoor covered patio. Angela our waitress was such a delightful person and took excellent care of us! Her recommendation was spot on and she even took notice when we were encountering some bees while dining! She surprised us with a anniversary brownie dessert and set us up inside so we wouldn’t have any more problems with bees, as I am allergic to them. Thank you Angela, you made our dining experience a terrific one and will enjoy coming back!
5 of us ate there last month, weather was cloudy and windy, fortunately no rain. We were seated with the best view outside, able to see both the American and Horseshoe falls, but we were cold because of the wind, so we had hot chocolate before our meals. Hot chocolate became warm chocolate very quickly because of the wind. We could have requested seating one row back when there was an overhead heater, but we didn't want to lose the best view.
2 had the prix fixe--both had the cheddar/lager soup as starter and it was tasty, 1 had the steak and the I had the baked rainbow trout for entree. Both entree came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies and they were yummy. I probably would enjoy the trout more when it just came out of the kitchen/oven, as the it was lukewarm when I got to it because of the wind--it cooled everything down quickly, and I worked on the mashed potatoes first, my bad. Baked fish eaten cold tasted even fishier. The other 3 in the group had trout sandwich (big piece of fish) with order of fries, either the seared butcher burger or the Queen Victoria Place signature burger (I forgot which) with order of fries, and the Ontario fusion noodle bowl with a big piece of chicken. The burger and trout sandwich were good, except for the cold trout because of the wind. The rice noodles in the noodle bowl should have been cooked a little bit longer like in the oriental restaurants which server noodle bowls, unless you like al dente. The broth in the noodle bowl didn't make the noodles any further. Our waitress forgot that the prix fixe order included a dessert and we had to remind her.
Overall, food portion was big and the food was generally tasty. Wish the wind hadn't whipped everything cold quickly! The view of the falls was great!
The service, people, location and view were excellent. The charcuterie board is not an indication of the mains - that were significantly better.
The view was amazing, service was excellent but the food was very disappointing. Appetizers and desserts were good but the entrees were terrible. I do hope the kitchen can improve, as there is so much potential to be a really great restaurant. I would go back for drinks but would not return for dinner.
Excellent view of the falls. Very good food and service.
Excellent food and service. Love the view and the food portions were great ! Thank you
We had the fixed menu and this was very good value. We had a table overlooking the falls which was brilliant. Would recommend.
The service and the food were impeccable. And the view of the falls was amazing!
