Que Pasa? Restaurant- Art Gallery & Bar
A cozy bar, delicious food, good music, friendly service, local art, air-conditioned dining... all this at very attractive prices! Our international menu offers a wide variety of fresh caught fish, juicy steaks and fantastic daily specials! For over 20 years, Qué Pasa has become a landmark for tourists and locals alike. Don’t miss this place in Downtown Oranjestad
Last dinner of our vacation in Aruba and probably one of the best meals we had during our week’s stay! Our server, Patricia, was super friendly, very attentive and spot on with her recommendations. My family ordered everything from steak tenderloins to lamb to a fish special. And we all enjoyed stealing bites from each other’s plates. The restaurant is also an art gallery - loved the decor! Don’t miss out!
Phenomenal dining experience during trip to Aruba. Denise was our server on our first night and the experience and food was so good, we came back for our final meal before we left (Lex was our server) and both were great and very sensitive and accommodating about one of my sons peanut/tree but allergy. To be clear, the food here isn't great because you're on vacation in Aruba, drinking (etc) where almost any food is pretty good, the food here is outstanding and would be considered outstanding anywhere (Chicago, LA, NYC). The chef is very, very talented with his flavors and literally everything in the well optioned menu was amazing. The braised neck of Lamb was great (two teenage kids loved it), the Peking duck was very good, the Mahi special was great, frogs legs, kangaroo, Salad Europe, Shrimp Pil Pil, Ceviche all great. The Cuban Taco appetizer, though, is off the charts outstanding, extraordinarily memorable and needs to be memorialized as a permanent part of their menu or the recipe needs to be published somewhere permanently so this doesn't go into the ether someday. All three teenagers were floored by it (one ordered a second plate of these for dessert) and this was one of the very best tacos I've ever had (including world class tacos in Mexico, San Fran, LA). The baked Alaska (Omellette Siberienne) and Chocolate Lava Cake were absolutely exceptional. They also have a great wine by the glass wine list and a special where your costs incurred between 9-10pm are cut by 40%. There are a few fixed price places on the island with mandatory wine pairings (Fred's, 2 Fools and a Bull, Kitchen by White) which I'm sure are very good but this food is a steal for the price (isn't fixed price with mandatory wine tastings), is absolutely exceptional and you can take kids and teenagers.
This restaurant and the experience really helped make our trip very special.
Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back.
Que Pasa? gave us the most delicious food we got on our vacation in Aruba - highly recommend it!
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
The food was very tasty.
This was a great experience and we would definitely eat there again given the chance. Great food, ambiance, and service. The food was tasty and reasonably priced for Aruba.
Very fun . Will definitely return.
My wife and I went to Que Pasa the night of my birthday and we loved it so much we went back again before we left Aruba.
I definitely recommend this restaurant. Their food is delicious. The ambience of art by local artists (which are for sale as well) is just bright and vibrant. The service is amazing. The staff is polite, friendly, welcoming and quite frankly on a vacation trip - they set your mind at ease.
When we come back, we will definitely have Que Pasa on our list.
The specials are always great. 5 stars all around.
We went to Que Pasa on a recommendation of our hotel. It was the worst meal we had while in Aruba. the service was slow, but polite. It took three servers for us to even place our order and about 20 - 25 minutes to get our drinks. We both ordered soup for an appetizer which was way too salty. Each of us ordered a different entree special for dinner. my husbands was okay, but not very tasty. My meal was almost inedible. When the server asked why I didn't eat my meal I replied I didn't like it. We got 10%.
Interesting food and great service. It’s one of our “go to” restaurants every time we visit Aruba.
Great atmosphere, interesting food choices- all high quality.
Fabulous food, nice ambiance, friendly staff :-) In addition to the regular menu, they also had daily specials which all sounded delicious. I ordered the tuna pepper steak and my husband had a fish dish from the daily specials menu. We also had the calamari appetizer. Everything was very good! Highly recommend!
Delicious dinner. Great wahoo.
Nice place people friendly like ambiente agradable trankilo
Best meal in Aruba so far. They have a very diverse menu as well as daily specials. My husband and I both had grouper, wahoo and shrimp with fresh asparagus in a saffron sauce. Simply delicious.
Delicious, creative food and a unique ambience. Will definitely go again!
This was our first time and we loved the food, service and price!!! The table next to us was extremely loud and we rush dinner as it was getting uncomfortable. We did not reach out to anyone just ate and left. Wish we could have enjoyed more. Lex was our server and was attentive and we loved his recommendations. We will return to eat here and will make sure to ask for a different table.
One of favorite restaurants! Great food and service! Outstanding beef carpaccio & escargot appetizers!
Disappointed. New owners with new menu. Not as many gluten free options. Menu limited
Great little restaurant. Quirky decorations give you that island feel. Food came out hot and delicious. Order the Shrimp Pina Colada. Spectacular presentation and very yummy. (On the sweet side, but oh-so-flavorful. Our waiter was Jeroen, a student from Holland, who simply aimed to please from start to finish. We ordered early, when there is a wonderful discount available.
Disappointing as prior year visit while on vacation was excellent. Food just wasn’t good this time around and the feeling was unanimous among our table of 5. Service was also quite slow and getting a taxi back to beach hotel was a 25 minute wait. Question pasa what’s up with the food?
Showed up for our reservation and restaurant could not even accommodate us. We had to leave. Zero help or respect.
Excellent food. Staff needs to be more educated on the menu and service needs to be quicker. Been there 3 times and loved it. Love the new menu.
We dine at Que Pasa each time we visit Aruba. It is a good to near very good restaurant. The benefit for us is that it is in walking distance from our hotel.
Only one of four dinners was worthwhile. Kangaroo special was tough & too much sauce. Wahoo & Grouper special had too much sauce to taste the fish and chicken schnitzel was mediocre. Shrimp pina colada was good.
We always try to visit here when we come to Aruba. Food and service always very good.
This is our favourite place! It is cozy, the service and food is consistent!
Fun location for dinner. Good atmosphere. Food was good and tasty . Service was good. We were seated in bar area at a high top table, which wasn’t bad, but the music being played was loud. Have suggested this restaurant to many.
Comida buena pero no excelente, la atención buena, uno de los platos lo entregaron con un sabor a quemado muy fuerte y de pidió cambiarlo.
I enjoyed my dining experience at this resturant
Not the best food. Would not go back again
My husband had the escargot he is talking about it being the best he has ever had!
The better restaurant in Aruba!!!
During my vacation in Aruba, i went two times to get dinner!!
Perfect, in special to the tuna tataki plate
Stopped in for dinner the other night and wasn't disappointed. Menu changed since last year and there were plenty of things to choose from. My wife had one of the specials, the Bleu Cheese pasta which she really liked. I had the tenderloin steak with mushroom sauce which as expected, was also good. The service was not as good as in the past. When we walked in, there was no one to greet us and we waited a few minutes for someone to come seat us. The entire staff was super friendly but not as attentive as usual. It seemed like they were short handed. Overall, another good meal. Prices are par for the course for the island and no service charge was added. Well worth stopping by.
It was great and good food. A pitty that we had a waitress who is learning. Not bath at all, but there we things who where forgotten and true that less service.
My wife and I had dinner at Que Pasa on the last evening of our Aruba vacation. David, our server, was terrific and did a great job reviewing the various specials for the evening. The Caribbean seafood soup was outstanding. We had specials which were both stir fried, hers was vegetarian and mine was shrimp with potatoes, onions and tomatoes in a black pepper sauce. Um!! They even presented my wife with a chocolate desert for her birthday! We will be back on our next trip to Aruba.
Excellent Service, excellent food. Unique atmosphere, highly recommend.
