Prime beef that melts in your mouth, served with your choice of red wine, garlic, mushroom, or pepper sauce
Hello, I was very surprised to realize that Que Pasa is an eclectic art gallery and Dutch restaurant. The appetizers ,entrées, and desserts were delicious. Our server Marleen was very helpful with the terrific specials of the evening. Thank you Marleen you did a great job during our last evening in Aruba. Cheers.... we will be back to see you.
Waitstaff was awesome. River even made Mexican coffee
Hello, don’t let the name of the restaurant fool you ,this is a very well done eclectic Dutch restaurant. with a fabulous staff and tremendous selection of soups, appetizers, and entrées ,with great desserts. Myself and my beautiful wife were celebrating our wedding anniversary and requested a romantic table alone , which they did accommodate us with .our server Marlene could not been more helpful ,friendly ,and knowledgeable on all the menu items and specialties of the day. Great food ,great fun ,thanks Marlene... go ahead and give it a try you’ll be happy you did .
Two split a tapas plate and Caesar Salad. Salad excellent and enjoyed 2 of the tapas dishes the beef and chicken. Shrimp was bland and sausages dry. Other diners had the chicken platter and another had the spicy shrimp. Both were excellent.
Food and service were excellent however the manager allowed the staff and guests to be subjected to in appropriate behavior by a group of male guests. Sexist and foul language and extremely loud. We could not speak to each other without yelling and less than four feet apart. The female waitress offered to say something but that was not her role nor would I have wanted to witness the rude guests' reaction.
Exceptional food and service. Highly recommend.
We had reservations for 7:PM on 4/5/21 we arrived and were seated , they took our order , however it took forever to get the first round of drinks . The waitress never came back after almost an hour of waiting for appetizers, when I went out side to ask, the manager came and said they no longer were serving appetizers due to the time . He was extremely rude and did not even apologize for making us wait. They rushed out main dishes outage and said you have 20
Minutes to eat and pay . The food was disgusting, dishes were nit cooked properly, the rice was hard and the meat was raw ... Overall the worse experience we had in Aruba . We absolutely understand that there are Covid restrictions, however it’s unacceptable to take our order , make us wait for an hour never come to check to see if we needed drinks or to tell us that unfortunately due to the time they were not going to serve appetizers, had I not gone out to ask for the manager we would just be waiting .
Very nice, true Arubian restaurant away from huddle and bustle
This is our third visit here and it continues to be great. HOWEVER...I wish the early bird time was not so darn early. It used to be 4-6pm, but was recently moved up to 4-5 pm. Way way too early to leave the beach and fight the traffic into town to get this deal. (Maybe that is part of the reason why the restaurant was mostly empty.) I wish management will reconsider my request for a slightly extended early dinner deal. Special shout-out to our server Zoey for her great service!
Went for dinner last night since we were downtown. As usual, wasn't disappointed. We usually get the same things but decided to try something else. My wife really liked her steak tenderloin with blue cheese and my lamb neck was super. The side of plantains we ordered were also yummy. Our server was friendly, efficient, checked back and didn't auction off the food. Much better than last year. No service charge was added and we had a great time.
Food delicious and very varied. Never had kangaroo before. Have now had it every week now and love it. really does taste like beef. Delicious. Specials unusual and also delicious. We're here for a total of 10 weeks. Been going every week. One of our favorite restaurants. WE've had several friends and family there and every one agrees with me. Friendly and attentive servers . By the name, you might think it is Mexican. No Mexican on the menu and we've been coming her for 2 years. Love it love it, love it and reasonably priced. A gem!
Love it every time we come. Delicious Kangaroo. Dedicate and professional wait staff.Fish dishes excellent too.
Wonderful food in an eclectic setting. Shrimp Pina Colada continues to be a favorite. Que Pasta was a unique and delicious special. We went for the Early Bird special. All menu items are 43% off! (florins for dollars) What a deal!
Service was excellent. Food was good, but not great. I would still return.
We were in Aruba for two weeks, we ate here three times !!!!
Every appetizer, entree & dessert was out of this world .
My absolute favorite was the pina colada shrimp & creme brulee with killer house made white chocolate ice cream, yummy !!!!
Can't wait until next year
Not a warm and fuzzy experience. Service bad, attitude worse. Sorry to say that we were disappointed.
Great food and service. The jerk chicken was delicious and the prices are very reasonable
We came here last year and absolutely loved it, so we wanted to come back again this year. However, we didn't love it quite as much this time. We ordered the carpaccio appetizer which was delicious and enough to share. For our entrees, my husband had the pork shank which was good but not great (we've had pork shank in Germany many times and those are hard to beat!). I had one of the specials, nutty corvina, which was very good! However, I never got my potatoes, and I didn't want to wait around until my fish was cold. Our server apologized and she clearly felt bad. She said she'd adjust our bill, but when we received our bill, no adjustments were made which was quite disappointing. It's not about the money but about the courtesy to try to fix mistakes---which we understand happen! Portions are small but luckily we're not big eaters so it was plenty for us. Overall, it's a really nice quaint little place and the food is very good! Just be aware that portions are on the small side and an appetizer may be needed if you're a big eater.
I tried the kangaroo tenderloin -- tastier than I had expected! The arugula mash would have been a lot better if the arugula had been minced and mixed into the mashed potatoes instead of thrown in stalks and all -- very distracting. When my check came, they charged me the regular price instead of the early bird price. I was told that the customer has to specifically ask for the early bird price; it's not automatic. So if you don't speak up, you're going to be cheated. And it's a big cheat too -- early bird pricing is 43% cheaper!
Food was excellent service good a little slow getting the main dish out but overall a very good experience. I would recommend this place very reasonable prices.
Start to finish, everything was great.
Out waitress explained a very lengthy specials board.
A very relaxing, non rushed dinner date.
The food was beyond yummy, Sweet potato grouper, & a seafood special. White chocolate creme brûlée is amazing.
Great location, wonderful variety, fun local art! Food was overall excellent, tended to be on the salty-side for my taste; the fish, to me, is the highlight. Tapas portions are large and excellent - recommend! Free parking is a plus. Look beyond the somewhat unusual 'names' given to specials (puttanesca didn't have any olives in it, but sauce was good) . You won't leave hungry, but will leave satisfied!
Food options and quality were both excellent. Service was attentive and comprehensive. Highly recommended
Food and service we both excellent. Had taco and bacon wrapped goat cheese for starters... both were delicious. Entrees were perfectly cooked.
I had one of the specials and it was delicious. The wait staff is very sweet. I think they were a little understaffed the night we were there. I definitely recommend it.
Charming restaurant with a well varied menu, reasonably priced in an otherwise high cost market, good specials, servers are pleasant and generally attentive - you are not rushed through your meal (after all, they are on 'island time'), nice and moderately priced wine selection
My favorite place to enjoy the essence of Aruba is Que Pasa?
Food not the greatest. Will not try again. Too many other choices.
They didn't have my reservation at arrival nor (of course) they minded about my request made at booking. Still we had a good time. Food is good, wine like everywhere in Aruba is wildly overpriced
Food was good. Levy the waiter was great.
Plates were chipped which totally takes the restaurant down a notch. Replace your chipped plates!
Very nice experience on our last night in Aruba. Our waiter Levy was was great. So friendly. Recommended the Kangaroo which I had never had before. Excellent. Just wish that I had discovered your restaurant earlier in my trip
Wasn’t a good experience, food was ok..service was very slow.
This is our second trip to Aruba and third time dining here. It has been over two years and so happy nothing has changed except menu selections. Everything is absolutely delicious. The portions are just the right size to make you happy and still be a great value. The staff are everything you could hope for- friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is awesome- just casual enough with service still being classy.
This is not your typical “tourist” restaurant and you’ll be very happy that is not.
A group of eight friends and I surprised my husband for his 40th Birthday with a group trip to Aruba. We chose Que Pasa? for our last dinner on the island based on the reviews. Overall, the food and drinks were fine. The service, however, was fairly disappointing. Our server never bothered to show us or explain to us the evening’s specials. In fact, we didn’t even know there were specials until we noticed her take a large board into the adjoining room and begin telling the other table about them. She was rather rude in dividing up our tickets, which were rather simple since we all sat in pairs. When she charges us for a dessert we never received, and one of our party asked her to remove it because he cancelled the order for it (and, again, we didn’t receive it), she brought another server to our table to verify my friend’s statement. Her attitude pulled the entire experience down for all of us. Quite a disappointing ending to an otherwise beautiful celebration.
Server second night was not as responsive or attentive or proactive as Ana.
Excellent experience I went two nights straight. Ana was great server. I hope to get back to Aruba soon and look forward to going to Que Pasa again!
Everything was excellent! We look forward to dining again when we return to Aruba!
Great meal at a reasonable price. Our 3rd time there since we first went there in May. As foodies we've never been disappointed.
Great restaurant with excellent food and service. We had fried calamary and escargot with mushrooms as appetizer. Maincourse we had the chicken cordon bleu dish and the chef special of the day: steak porto, both were amazing. As dessert we had the chef special belgium waffle, a must have. Try the sangrias, the sparkling sangria is fantastic !!
Food was fantastic and the service was great!
