Saturday evening 6pm booking. No order taken for 30 minutes Food arrived 20 minutes later. We ordered 5 tapis to share. 2 of the 5 tapis were not really warm enough. Waitress informed. Long wait for the bill.

Been here plenty of times and usually the food /service is second to none. Yesterday we were kept waiting for 40 minutes - and I was only having a salad! When it did arrive , It looked like it had been thrown in to the bowl. There was too much Vinaigrette dressing on so was very wet and tart ! Not very nice for £14 and the fries were over cooked and the portion wasn’t as big as normal We did find out there was a new chef and aired our views to waitress.

Food very poor. No yorkshire puddings with Sunday dinner, ran out of seabass which was a big part of menu! Ordered breast of lamb, disgusting, it was just a big ridge of fat, no meat at all. I don't know how the chef could have let it leave his kitchen! Waiter apologised , took it back and offered to keep the other party members food warm under lights, whilst we waited for a different meal cooking. Would not recommend at all.

Food lovely as usual but service poor and not busy. Sat 30 minutes and had to ask for drinks and again for food. Ended up going to bar for additional drinks. Seemed to be plenty of staff so not sure why we had to ask. Would not put us off going but a shame service not good on this occasion.

Nice food but let down by the service. Waited 40 mins for the appetizer we ordered to be told it would be served with the main course. Also got our drinks order wrong but charged us for drinks we hadn't had.

Food was really nice but service let it down massively. I understand being a bank holiday you may be understaffed however the restaurant wasnt even that busy, and at one point we were the only table in there. A couple of staff members were better than others (dont know by names unfortunately) & its a shame we werent served by the same person throughout. There was a woman serving food in a black blazer that was very unfriendly and had an expression like she didnt want to be there & if you asked for anything looked like you’d really put her out. We had problems with the bill not taking off promotions and were told it was because it was now past the promotional time, even though the food was ordered and eaten during promotional hours which didnt make sense. We waited nearly an hour to get the bill, sort out the discrepancies & pay because staff didnt give eye contact in order for you to approach, even though our table was the closest to the till. We had to track someone down each time and again it just looked like we were bothering them. We had a train to catch and missed it due to waiting so long, next time I think we’ll pretend to walk out and see if staff care more then.

A great find. Very comfortable with excellent service. Great food and value. Would certainly visit again. Was looking forward to the goat curry on the menu outside but no longer on offer. Not a problem though.

Lovely restaurant with great staff. The food was delicious. We had several generations dining and they all enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointing to have taken friends to Qubana for a special evening and for 4 out of 7 of us have a poor experience. I think the chef may have taken the night off The lad on the bar deserves a medal for making us feel listened to.
