Quartino, an urban Italian restaurant and wine bar, is the creation of Hugo Ralli, Steve Lombardo (owners of Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House, LUXBAR) and Exec Chef / Partner John Coletta. Quartino combines the best of Italy’s osteria and enoteca to offer an authentic everyday Italian food and wine experience. “Where wine is cheaper than water” Throughout Europe, in bistro after osteria after enoteca, fresh local wines of high quality and unique characteristics are priced as a less expensive alternative to bottled water. Reservation requests for patio seating are not accepted.

Great dining experience, every time here!
Good setup near open windows inside. Large clear barriers in between tables where necessary. Food and wine were very good. Our waitress Amanda was very helpful.
Quartino is a staple and my go to! The food is always and consistently delicious. In all my years in going they are the ones that truly never disappoint. Also try to get Cole as your server, he is phenomenal!!!!!
Waiter was excellent and the food was amazing.
We’ve lived in the Chicago area for the past eight years and Quartino has always been a favorite. The food is always expertly prepared and served as soon as it’s ready. We’ve brought many out of town guests to Quartino and enjoyed a significant number of dishes on their menu. It’s a great place to enjoy with a table of eight, or just two, even a single diner. I can’t say enough good about Quartino.
We were able to sit inside near the doors and windows so it was not cold at all! Food was delicious and the tiramisu was BOMB! This was my first time eating here and I would definitely come back again for the gnocchi😆
We had a charming waitress - food was perfect !!!!
Great food and great service.
Always have an amazing experience at Quartino! Our server, Spencer, made our NYE at Quartino a great experience.
Excellent food and service. Would eat here everyday if I could
The service was good. We were seated right away and the staff were very friendly. We ordered seafood dishes..the shrimp tasted fishy and the clams dish needed more salt. The sun dried tomato soup was basically like eating chunky pasta sauce from a bowl. It was ok, but couldn’t finish a whole bowl of it. The coffee taste very burnt. The highlight of our meal was the tiramisu!
Honestly 10/10. Every time 10/10 they never disappoint. If I celebrate anything I instantly think of them and it is always a good time.
Food was incredible as always. Great outdoor dining setup on the upper balcony with heaters and plexiglass between tables. Great time with my family when they were in town. One of my go-to’s for sure!
Very good tiramisu and delicious risotto
Unprofessional service and management. Waitress was trying, but not enough help there.
Quartino's is our favorite Chicago restaurant! We go there every time we visit, and my daughter who lives in-town, gets carry-out often. The food is high quality, made in-house, and reasonably priced. The vibe is lively and fun - great service.
We had a great experience sitting outside under the awning. The heaters were all turned on so it was very warm. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. She let us try a few things before making our final choices. The fondue was AMAZING as well as the meat and cheese plate we chose. We had pasta and seafood as well and everything was very YUMMY!
Same food was cheaper last time.
Great for everyday dining or a date. Sat on the upstairs patio, very warm.
Absolutely love it outdoor heater next to us perfect
As always, the service and food at this establishment is top notch. It is a casual environment with high-end service. The prices are affordable. Oh and I definitely need one of those Barak so soap dispensers at my house. That is the best soap, ever. My hands are so soft after using it. LOL. Make sure you buy a Parmesan cheese with Grater and a loaf of the bread to bring home
Quartino has always been among my favorites in the city. I’m glad they’re still open given the dictatorial insanity of Illinois’s governor.
Honestly, Jonathan was the least attentive server we’ve ever had at Quartino. He sauntered around like he had nowhere to be. He never did anything for us without us asking. Our carafe of water and wine were both empty for a significant amount of time before I asked him for more water. I had to get up from the table at one point to get our own share plates, which were sitting on a vacant table nearby. The item he diligently brought to the table without us prompting him was the check, which arrived approximately 45 seconds after our dessert hit the table.
I do enjoy Quartino and I understand being a server isn’t super fun right now, but engaging with your tables at the bare minimum isn’t difficult.
Had dinner with our 2 sons that live in. Chicago.
Highly recommend. The food and service were excellent. Outside dining with great heaters made dining in December pleasant. Thank you!
Made my friend’s birthday experience special. Sat on the patio that was well ventilated and warm. Service and food were great!
The food is always excellent. But the added plus this time was the excellent preparation of the restaurant for Covid-era safety. We sat outside on the balcony, above the noise and traffic, in heated and well-protected (with plexiglas separation) tables. Service was excellent. I love the orecchiette, and my dinner partner loves the linguini with clams. Both excellent. Will continue to return here...
Muy buena comida, buen servicio y precio justo, lo único es la época pues solo puedes comer en la terraza, no obstante los calentadores hacen su trabajo para que no sientas el frío, definitivamente lo recomiendo.
Quartino has done a great job at creating a great dining experience, despite current city and state covid guidelines that make it difficult.
Everything was great! We sat outside, all staff was so accommodating. Each table had a heater so it was comfortable even though it was December. The food was delicious.
Our favorite date night place!
I LOVE this restaurant. My favorite place to grab true Italian in the city
I was worried about being cold, but did not run into that issue at all! They had plenty of heaters going near the outdoor tables. I had jeans, sweater, and parka on and was great all dinner! Great spot to go to before it gets super cold out. 10/10 :)
It was great. We were able to get an table just inside the door which was key.
The food was sub par and over salted. The service was OK but not great. Wait staff did not look around to see if customers needed anything like salt and pepper. Salad delivered without olive oil.
One of Chicago's absolute gems. Friendly service, incredible food, sassy cocktails!
This was the first visit for the three of us. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 5 different dishes and shared them. The food was absolutely delicious. We had dessert, which was also delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised when I received the bill. It was lower than I expected. I can’t wait to go again.
Excellent excellent excellent!!
Staff seemed to “Hoover” a lot and waitress was rude/uninterested
The manager came over and asked how everything was. The management at that restaurant are top notch.
