Loved the cocktails to start out. Italian 75 is where it's at. We ordered the mushroom/truffle risotto which was cooked to perfection and sooo flavorful. We also ordered the tagliatelle bolognese which is imo one of the best things on the menu. Don't think, just order! Lively atmosphere and service. Great for date night or family gathering.
We had a bunch of little girls in our party and the server was so great with them! The food was delicious and came out quickly. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious! Really everything was amazing, food, service, ambiance, location and we found parking close by. Only bummer was that there is no restroom on the first floor (or at least not that I was directed to). While I am only 7 months pregnant, I am more concerned about accessibility for others.
My party of 4 did a true family style and split everything we ordered. The calamari, Stefano pizza and penne vodka. All of it was delicious. The house wine was also excellent.
I totally loved this place. Will definitely recommend it.
Outstanding experience! Food was great, waitstaff was tremendous and truly outdid themselves... wonderful evening!
Absolutely obsessed with Quartino. Will always recommend. Service, staff, kitchen, everyone is absolutely incredible. What an amazing atmosphere, looking forward to my next time in:)
Great food and even better service. I've been here a few times and Quantino's is my favorite Italian restaurant in the city.
Its been quite some time since I've been to Quartino but I'm glad I went back. The wait staff is friendly and they work well together. Not being able to consume meat or bread on Good Friday still made this restaurant a great option.
The service is always great and the cozy food is always a pleasure!
Good was delivered late amd they forgot to order everything
Pretty much the best of the best, most authentic old world Italian food downtown. Amazing service. Can’t beat the prices.
Wonderful food and service
Very personable staff. The food had great flavor, presentation and quality. Loved the tapas/ family style plate sharing. Great experience for downtown Chicago.
Food is always good here. Nice casual spot to meet friends for food and drink.
We had tried lunch here last month which was amazing and had to come back for dinner. We brought another couple to share the amazing food. I feel like we tried it all - pizza, short ribs, tortellini, broccolini, mushroom risotto, chicken parm and a very nice Italian red wine. We would order it all again! Micheal was great checking in on us and the evening was fantastic. We can't wait to return in June. Our reservation is already booked!
Food was fantastic....service was a little slow.
Great spot! Really great cocktails too. Honestly thought the portions would be larger since it was “shareable” though but other than that, pretty great!
It was my best friend’s birthday and everything was perfect!
Everything was wonderful- thanks for being a place that makes the adults and the kids happy. Everyone... get the “Italian 75” cocktail!
You cant go wrong with food and service. Also, it's part of the Gibson family.
Very fast! Delicious! And service was outstanding
Despite restaurant pandemic restrictions, we had a wonderful experience at Quartino. The food was flavorful plus a good quantity. Our waiter Ruben really knew his menu and preparation details that strive for authenticity, adding to our experience. The Sicilian Caponata was dense with eggplant and just enough spice to add a bit of zest on the palate. The Papparadelle al Suga Dimanzo had wide noodles and plenty of meat in the sauce. The other items were unexpected surprises: bruschette that were almost a meal in themselves with 3 large pieces of bread and 3 different toppings--don't miss it; the Tagliata di Manso was lean, perfectly cooked medium rare. Because we were celebrating a delayed anniversary, we had dessert. Do not miss the profiteroles--two large popovers holding a substantial portion of ice cream and a to-die-for chocolate sauce with a tinge of coffee for added punch. And, there was nothing timid about the Gran Coppa Quantino--lots of ice cream and strawberries topped with whipped cream. Before ordering, let your waiter know how you'd like to be served. If sharing, the food comes gradually. If not sharing, the waiter will serve food more traditionally--appetizers, then main, then dessert. We didn't know that, so the manager Trevor graciously assisted with our having a more traditional service. Tables were available for outdoor seating, but the weather made indoor seating more comfortable for us, especially near the windows. We're so happy Quartino is part of our neighborhood. We'll be back.
Birthday dinner with family after being fully vaccinated
One of my favorite spots in river north! Great tasting food, amazing price point, and lovely ambiance. 10/10 recommend.
Excellent food. Good service. Authentic Italian decor and setting. Excellent value.
Awesome every time
In a word - FANTASTIC. The food was superb! We shared several different dishes, and each was so delicious. We enjoyed polenta fries, risotto, pasta, sautéed spinach, steak, and soup. We also enjoyed our drinks. Our server was perfect, interacting with us and bringing the courses in just the right measure. Great ambiance and friendly, helpful staff.
We can't wait to go back. HIGHLY recommend.
Love this place! Always great food and drinks, and the staff is second to none- so friendly! Great spot for any and everything, from friends and family get togethers to a date night.
Love this place! Best tiramisu I’ve ever had
Stopped for a snack dinner. Prices are very reasonable and love the variety on the menu.
The pizza was just OK. From the crust in it was great for the first half. Unfortunately the center was somewhat of a soggy mess. Ouch.
One item we both loved was the assortment Cheese, Sausage and Olive combo. This some bread and a glass of wine was heavenly.
Always great Service, They treat you like family!
Great food and service.
Second time here. It’s been a few years. The food is always great the service is meh. Last time the service was bad this time it was better but the bar was set pretty low. Biggest throwback is the tapas style because they are randomly bringing out food so you’re forever being disturbed moving stuff around to make room which takes away from enjoying the food. Additionally, unless you go often you don’t know the sizes so it’s hard to order and it’s hard to time things up so you either just eat less (bad for them) or you order more and by the time it comes out your appetite is gone so you end up wasting it like we did. In any event the food is always great just some personal preferences that if you share you got a heads up if not you should enjoy. One last thing to not is they are doing the touchless menus and it’s a PITA with a large tapas style menu like this.
As always, the food was phenomenal. It’s a staple of every one of our visits to Chicago.
Our waitress was attentive & friendly. Prices were fair, food was Amazingly Delicious! I Loved everything about the restaurant & food, Ill definitely be back to try the entire menu. Very Happy Customer!
Great as always. Our server this time was Spencer and she was amazing. Thank you for great service and delicious food.
Quartino is my favorite Italian in Chicago. Quality food in a laid back, comfortable environment. The food is always always always fresh and flavorful and amazing. The service is great too. The Tuscan kale salad is to die for. The ravioli and tortellini make my heart melt. The chicken parm was one of the best I’ve ever had. E meatball sliders melt in your mouth. Great wine list and cocktails too. Will be back a million more times! Thank you!
