Quartino’s has a very nice atmosphere I would expect to see something like this in Italy, the food and service was excellent they have great selection of wines, I would expect to pay mor for that quality of food and service.
Great food and service. It was a little loud for a date but still an amazing experience. Will definitely go back.
We waited for over an hour before someone came to even take our drink order.
The food and drinks were amazing- especially for the price! Loud inside but not overwhelming. Great place for a date night or time out with friends! 10/10 Recommend
If you don’t like a noisy spot this place won’t be for you. If you love a super busy, loud place on a weekend night, this place is awesome. Food is very good and comes fast. Our server was fantastic. Was always there pouring wine, or water, great recommendations and explanation of menu items. Will definitely return here when in Chicago.
We never visit Chicago without eating here. Best Italian Place we've been (including Northeast, St Louis etc). Food is outstanding. Service is attentive. Excellent shareable menu
Very fun , food was really tasty, service was super! Very very loud!
Excellent service as always. The food is outstanding! Always a favorite.
Great! Food was great as usual.
Wonderful as always!
Delicious food, lively setting, quite noisy at primetime. Overall experience was wonderful, would definitely return!
The food was so good! The gnocchi and truffle risotto were amazing and came hot out of the kitchen. Only downside was the restaurant was very loud so it was hard to talk to people sat my table.
Great place for a group. Food was on point and the service was perfect.
Wonderful restaurant, my wife and I loved the food, the atmosphere and the staff.
Fantastic!!! What a great find!
Visit was a bit of a train wreck from start to finish. We were lead to a table with only 1 chair for a party of 2, and left standing at the table for a couple of minutes waiting for a chair to arrive. We were stuffed in the back of the restaurant next to a party of 14. Conversation was nearly impossible as the noise level was high. Then waited 30 minutes before our drink orders were taken, to be told 10 minutes later that they were out of the wine I'd chosen (imagine an Italian restaurant out of Chianti Classico!). Management politely came to deliver that news and offer a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience, which was the first sign of an attempt at good service. Next, entrees took a long time to come out, so we were brought a complimentary ravioli entree while we waited for our orders to arrive. Food was good (starting with an excellent kale salad), and reasonably priced, but the service missteps were unfortunately too many to just chalk this up to an off night. By the end of our dinner were were late for a concert and so could not stay to enjoy the complimentary dessert, which they gave us to go. So many great Italian restaurants in the city (including nearby!), Quartino would not be my pick.
This was my first time there, but my team recommended it and they love it. Every time they come in town they want to go here.
One of our favorite places in Chicago. Never had a bad dish here. Simple but delicious!
Always love this place. Only complaint about last visit was that the bus boy cleared two of my friends plates while they were full and still eating. He whisked the plate away without even asking, mid forkful. We mentioned it/complained to the waiter and he happily replaced two of the dishes that she had been eating! Food is a 10+ always!
We can't wait to go back! It was a great girls night dinner where we were able to share a variety of dishes. The goat milk bread appetizer was wonderful as well as the pastas we tried. Very noisy but that was the type of atmosphere were looking for anyhow.
The hostess will seat anyone who complains before people who have reservations and does not know how to handle a busy Saturday night crowd. The waiters are sat too many tables to come by and check to see if you need anything else. Awful experience.
Tremendous service. Great staff.
We went here with a group of 5 and had a great time! We love being able to try many different types of food. Everything was great from the pasta, wine, meatballs, salads, and pizza!
Everything was great! We had spinach salad, tortellini, shrimp risotto and tiramisu. I’d pass on the shrimp risotto next time.
Excellent food and service. Loved having small plates so you could try a little of everything
william was a great server. He made our time there so much more pleasant.
Great food. Great service. Noise level can be too high when it is crowded.
It was great! The food was yummy and priced really well! It was super cute inside, but it did get a bit loud. I will definitely be going back!
Food was great. Nicely timed on delivery between dishes. The homemade ricotta was fantastic. Pasta cooked perfectly. The Zeppoles were great but I would suggest changing up the dipping sauces. A raspberry would be nice as well as a vanilla or melted white chocolate. Will definitely be back.
Quartino is my go-to for Italian! Absolutely love their food and I like the tapas style
Always had a good dining experience with Quartino's.
A favorite. Go for late lunch on a Monday so no problem getting a table. Great tapas like appetizers. We especially like the mixed olives, caponata and roasted peppers. I think the pizza crust is perfect: crisp but easy to chew. Always ask for Parmesan cheese for the table. The dispenser is fun! I also had the shrimp Diablo but that was a miss for me. The shrimp tasted fishy and off and I did not eat it. Prices are very reasonable. Note restrooms are on se one floor.
Great food, plates to share we’re perfect.
Tables are too close together
I have been to Quartino MULTIPLE times. I went last week on Saturday to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Our waiter was named Ignacio, Iggy, and he was hands down the worst and most disrespectful human I have encountered. Off the bat, he spoke to us with disrespect in a misogynist tone when we were trying to order our food. We asked for wine and olives, and it took him 45 minutes to return with both. When asked about our olives, he said he needed to "check" to see if they are ready. Do you need to prepare olives? Last time I checked, no.
Leading to Ignacio reporting back to our table barely even able to walk, as if he was DRUNK. I wish I was kidding. For Quartino to be known as an Italian restraint that offers "amazing service" this experience was not even close to their values and I will not be going back here again. Honestly, I would rather eat Noodles & Company or head over to The Cheesecake Factory.
If Quartino does not fire Ignacio then that shows how much they value their customers/guests.
Absolute best dinner I've had in years. Glad we made reservations because it was totally packed with tons of people waiting for open tables.
We had the charcuterie plate, bacon wrapped dates, sausage risotto and bottle of wine for only $86. The risotto was absolutely delicious!!!!!!!
Great ambiance, amazing food and great service.
Very high energy and loud. Fun place
Very noisy it was Saturday night
Food was excellent
Quartino took way too many reservations and we weren’t seated until 40 minutes after ours. The entire restaurant was so crowded. We could hardly get in the front door and bar space was non-existent while we waited for our table. The entire restaurant was very loud and we were packed in like sardines. Sadly, I won’t be back.
