Food was amazing. Amanda was helpful and attentive. Lively space.
Very good food and service despite unusual circumstances amid announcement of pending shut down. Fresh pasta, delicious sauce and the charcuterie appetizer was fun.
Servers were very attentive, food always on point, and fast turnarounds. Love it.
This is my favorite Chicago Italian restaurant.
Loved everything we ordered!
Had a great meal and service! No complaints there, just would’ve been nice if they would’ve said or thrown in a little “happy birthday” since I chose to celebrate my actual birthday there and wrote that on the reso!
Amazing service. Awesome food.
Love this place. Great environment and fantastic food!
Wonderful food and service as usual!!!
Excellent food and service. Top notch find in downtown Chicago.
Loved the place and the food but had to wait over 30 min for our reservation.
our food was quite good and so was our service. i’m always looking for a quieter dining experience and this is the complete opposite. Lots of energy and noise.
Quartino is a nice restaurant with average food and service at a reasonable price, so definitely a great option if you’re downtown looking for Italian and want to keep it simple. The only downside we experienced is that even with it being pretty average for quality, flavors, and service, the wait was still pretty long despite having a reservation (we were seated about 20 minutes or so after our reservation time, group of four people.) But that’s what you would expect from an restaurant in the heart of Chicago I suppose. All-in-all good spot and great for larger groups as it’s a pretty spacious restaurant with lots of tables.
A fun evening in a noisy active restaurant- great server Iggy and fun time!
I always like Quartino but this time one of the pasta dishes had a hair strand in it. They were nice enough to apologize for it and offer a replacement but. I expect more and better from Quartino.
Was seated almost 20 minutes after our reservation. Thankfully that was the only negative. Food was great and so was the service.
Great food! Great environment! Great management!
So good and such a value, we had dinner twice during a week in Chicago. Highly recommend the shrimp fra diavolo. Many wines by the liter or half-liter.
It's not so loud as make conversation difficult. One excellent waitress, one good waiter.
We had reservations for 8, changed at the last minute and that was handled with ease.
The staff was very accommodating and prompt.
On top of that, the food was spectacular!
I love this restaurant so much. Great food. Great service. Great prices. Can't wait to come back!
Terribly full, bad food, noisy,
We had a reservation but waited a half hour to be seated. Once we were seated, it as right next to the bar. The noise level was unbearable. We couldn't even hear the person next to us, let alone any other member at our table. Luckily, by the time our check came the bar emptied a bit so at least we could converse some. Kind of ruined our friends night out.
We went with a party of 6 for a special occasion. The restaurant was PACKED, like it is basically all the time.
We ordered about 15 dishes. Most were good, none were excellent. Some were so bland or salty that we didn’t eat them.
The most impactful part of the experience was the crowd. There are too many tables packed into the main space. People bumped into us the entire time. Dishes were being slung over our heads to reach neighboring tables. And the NOISE. We genuinely were shouting to communicate with one another. My mother is 70 and this was clearly tiring for her.
All that said, our bill for dinner was surprisingly affordable. One of the cheaper places I’ve taken a group in Chicago.
If you’re looking for a crowded, loud, touristy Chicago experience, this is a good place. But there are better, “easier” places in the city.
Quartino serves family style, which makes for a more interactive and social meal experience. It is a family favorite!
Our waitress took forever to come back to the table so we could order more rounds. The food while delicious is very overpriced for the amount that you get. Their was a wedding or event going on upstairs which is the only bathroom available so it took 15 minutes to get into the bathroom and another 10 to get back down stairs to your table. Will not be back.
Really good options. A fun place to go for a quick meal. Everything tasted great. Good value.
Great food and service. Fantastic atmosphere and good value.
