The only bad part was we were reminded we only had 15 minutes left on our 90 minutes kinda took away the vibe of the evening
Quartino was very accommodating with our request for a patio table and our server was amazing!!! I always have a good experience but this one was the best! Thank you all!
I have always loved this place. However, this is the first time I have visited since the pandemic. And I was thoroughly impressed with the social distancing precautions and service. Well done Quartino.
Server was very rude, every two minutes coming up to the table to tell us how much time we have until we have to leave the table. To the point we couldnt even enjoy two minutes into eating out meal.
Friendly staff and enjoyed the food
Fabulous service. Felt very “covid safe.” Delicious small sharing plates.
Quartino is always good!
I love this place. Small plates are my fav. And they have a great small plate menu. Staff is wonderful. And food is consistent. Outdoor or indoor great seating. Go. Group or couples great place.
our first time. was very good although pizza crust a little thicker than true neopolitan (I Know, being picky). all in all very good though.
One of the best caprese salads I've ever had. Great for larger groups of people.
Even under the train conditions of COVID-19 the food and the service was impeccable.
We opted to eat indoors and there was plenty of space between us and the next group of diners.
We felt absolutely safe.
The service was awful
Had to wait an hour for a table even with a reservation for 7:30pm on 7/24/20
Quartino is always a favorite for group dining. It’s so easy to share! I went with some friends to celebrate my 39th birthday. They did a great job accommodating us and followed all Covid guidelines. Always love Dining here!
My gf got there early so they sat her around 6 Which was very nice of them (reso at 630) but when I sat down at 630, the waiter told me we had 60/90 more minutes on the reso. 👀 first off I understand the time limit but they should have told
My friend that and she wouldn’t have sat down early then. I brought the issue up to the waiter and he went and checked and got it ok to start our 90 min then which made it better. However, I don’t know that I would recommend the waiter telling us how much time we have left as often as they did. It was a bit much to be honest. Food was great.
We always love coming to Quartino ❤️❤️
Hands down best restaurant. Food, service, ambiance, and espresso martinis ♥️
This has to be one of Chicago's hidden Gems! Great ambiance, great service and undoubtedly delicious food!
Great wine selection as well. Hard to get this combination right IMO but they've accomplished this on multiple occasions (pretty & post COVID). VERY CONSISTENT
We tried a number of the menu items and all were great. Pepperoni pizza came out kind of greasy we got got some napkins to suck up some of the grease but the taste was delicious. The eggplant Parmesan was single layer of eggplant topped with lots of cheese. The grilled octopus was very tender. Their antipasto salad was great next time we will ask for the dressing on the side. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating.
Calamari was extremely under cooked. Short rib was extremely dry. Pasta was ok. Would never go again.
Excellent food and service!!
Excellent food and food service
Great food great service!
Great food! Excellent service!
Family has been coming here for years and practically order half the menu every time. All the food is delicious and the service is lovely.
Great outdoor table!
Can’t go wrong with Quartino’s. Favorite restaurant for family occasions.
Staff was really busy, hard to get someone’s attention, didn’t give bread without asking for a large party :(
Great food, drinks, and ambiance. Can't go wrong!
Trevor was such a great server. He made our experience!
Always a wonderful experience, thank you!!!!
Everything was great, just a bit pricy
Sat outside and it was beautiful! We had a margherita pizza and it was awesome! Kale salad and the garlic and bean dip to start and they were also great! Love the menu!
Very disappointing dining experience. My friend and I are local and have dined here and taken out food often, even during quarantine but will take this off my list. I’ve enjoyed their food but there are many other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood that are equally as good like Coco Pazzo Cafe or Osteria via stado. We had a reservation for 6:45 and my friend arrived a little earlier and they sat her. I arrived on time but had to wait almost 10 minutes due to line and temperature screening before entry, which I didn’t mind. But the waiter told us when I was sat that we only had 90 minutes to dine. Because of that we didn’t order apps, only a pizza and salad and some wine. Part way thru dinner we ordered more wine, which didn’t come for 20 minutes. When waiter came back he apologized and asked if we still wanted it since we had less than 15 minutes left before we had to leave, which didn’t even make sense for the 90 minutes. They started the 90 minute clock when they sat my friend not when I was seated due to my wait to enter the restaurant. We only ate a salad and pizza and due to slow service barely had time to eat and had to ask for a time extension, which they reluctantly gave us an extra 15 minutes. If they are going to enforce a strict time policy they should work on food delivery time and staffing to meet that timeframe. I spoke to the restaurant GM on way out to say the experience was not pleasant due to 4 reminders we had about the time limit and they should really state their policy on open table so people know that ahead of time. He said they sent an email, which I never received. He said it’s important to their profit now to turn the tables quickly and didn’t even pretend to show any concern or acknowledge that loyal customers had a bad experience in his restaurant. Short sited since local residents will keep these restaurants in business even in tough times.
Great time great food great price
Restaurant is being cautious about Covid rules but some practices were very irritating and seems to be being used as an excuse to provide less than great service. Upon arriving, we were instructed about the current Covid rules which included a time limit on being in the restaurant. The time limit was very irritating. While it was adequate for having dinner, it just seems unnecessary. The waiter followed up on the hurry up and eat theme and mentioned the time limit. Felt very rushed through the whole dinner, for no reason.
Not sure how this place would have been pre-covid but I will not go back and cannot recommend this restaurant. Very poor service experience and mediocre food.
Highly recommend. Best restaurant I e ever been to.
Trevor and Matthew were outstanding. Charming atmosphere with extra precautions evident for our safety. Beef short rib and tortellini were delicious and the banana gelato absolutely scrunptious!
