Cute little restaurant.
Great gluten free options. Order the chocolate soufflé, made to order, remembering it takes 20 minutes to arrive at your table. The lighting is beyond noir dark, approaching ember/campfire. A three minute walk from the Bowery Hotel!
Our party of 12 dined here for the last 2 years before attending a concert at the Sheen Center. It has never disappointed! Wonderful place to eat in NYC
Fresh food very nicely prepared; good variety on brunch menu. Relaxing setting.
Really great experience, will definitely go back gain.
We were seated in the back for lunch. It was lovely, quiet with no music blaring and made it possible to have a relaxed conversation.
From the superbly tasty homemade rosemary infused breadsticks to the peppery olive oil, it was a portent if all the other wonderful dishes and flavors to come.
Each of us had a bowl of soup and different small plates. Each and every one of them delighted the palate.
Thanks for a great dining experience!! Excited to come back again!
Quaint candle lit restaurant in the heart of east village offering healthy menu items.
Had a nice quiet dinner here around 10pm it was a perfect time for us we basically had the whole place to ourselves
Fantastic fresh organic food! Would definitely come here again for any occasion
Wonderful Organic Italian food, nice cool atmosphere and ambiance, quiet for conversations. Fresh made whole wheat pasta was delicious! Highly recommended.
The ambiance was nice, and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back for the pesto lasagna! The prices were very reasonable for good, organic Italian food. Highly recommend.
A special gem with fresh, delicious, simple food that never disappoints. Very cozy, with a real fire in the fireplace.
Absolutely delicious! Service is lovely as is the atmosphere.
Last night my mother and I had dinner at Quartino. We were both so excited to try the restaurant based on the menu and the health-minded basis.
We order a rosemary focaccia, fava bean salad, seasonal vegetables and the vegan, bean soup. The focaccia was delicious, however, everything else was incredibly disappointing. The salad was basically a bowl of greens with hardly any toppings. Additionally, there were hardly any greens for it to be priced at $14. Neither the soup, nor the seasonal vegetables, had any flavor- until we asked for salt and olive oil.
All in all, the dishes were incredibly small and totally over priced for their size and flavoring! Salads are basically a bowl of greens and a sprinkle of the other stuff. The rosemary focaccia was very good but everything else was very mediocre and bland. We were so excited to try this restaurant but left totally disappointed.
Food was almost inedible
Very nice neighborhood spot - comfortable with good food and cocktails. The staff is lovely. It is small so would recommend reservations.
Perfect place for dinner before Sheen Center show. But make reservations, it’s tiny.
This place hits all the right notes!! Intimate place with a lovely fireplace and attentive service. Smart cocktails and really fresh organic Italian food from the Ligurian coast. My favorite kind of Italian food. Great location. Just go!!!
Great option for dining with your vegan and carnivore friends. Amazing service and ambience.
Disappointing. Food was average at best. Staff was rushed and impersonal.
Great vibe and setting. Food was very fresh and you can tell the quality of the ingredients. Pastas were just ok, but I am Italian and come from a family of chefs so pasta standards are high. Definitely check this place out :)
It is a pleasure to find such an assortment of delicious yet still healthy food. Reasonably priced. I am happy to keep going back.
Good food and lovely ambiance. Sometimes a bit loud, but not too much. What I love about this place is that they keep their prices reasonable and the food quality high.
The appetizers were excellent and the main pasta dishes quite good...and the scallops were especially good. The front part of the restuarant is quite noisy but they have a back part that is quiet and better for conversation.
Devious. Service was really great and the food was devious. Also very healthy which is really nice.
Super food, organic and wholesome, with vegan options too. Like having a nutritious home cooked meal prepared for you. Lovely small restaurant with intimate relaxed feel. Courteous and professional staff. One improvement would be to have air-con during warm nights. Front of restaurant can be opened to the street but without air-con on humid nights it makes for a hot experience. Despite that, will return again and again.
This is the latest pasta I’ve ever tasted. Everything else is equally wonderful. And the people who run the place are all sweethearts!
Quality seems to have fallen off at this beloved EV spot. Despite its organic vegetarian thrust, dishes are short on green vegetables, and the wheat pasta with artichoke was a sad lump of bland starch. With all the prime tomatoes available in late August, caprese was also sub par. Don't expect to revisit anytime soon, sadly
Add a bit of salt to breadsticks... otherwise like cardboard..
Fantastic, authentic food and wine at a fair price, in a nice place. I thought these kind of restaurants did not exist anymore in Manhattan, especially when it comes to italian food.
The staff is very attentive and we love the atmosphere. Intimate, so we were able to talk quietly and hear each other! (Not a lot of glass, chrome, or tile to bounce sound around.) The kitchen uses fresh, organic ingredients and they have a magic touch with pasta -- not just your usual tomato sauce -- nice! We hope they will stay in the neighborhood -- one of our favorite places.
Not bad, just not really... good. The fresh mozzarella in the caprese was excellent, but the “heirloom” tomatoes were bland and poorly presented. The fish dishes (no meat is served) were ok, but nothing was really good enough in a neighborhood with so many good restaurants.
A perfect Italian dinner -- fresh ingredients, simple and delicous dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Don't miss the foccacia with stracchino! We sat in the garden patio which has lovely ambience.
Good vegan options. We were 4 and all something different and we enjoyed it.
Food was healthy but bland.
This restaurant is AMAZING. Highly recommend.
