Four of us dined at Quarter Acre last Saturday night. We were immediately impressed by the decor and the quality glassware and dishes. The wait staff was extremely attentive and anxious to please. The four of us would be considered “foodies” and we all agree that our meal was outstanding! Each dish was creative and delicious. The chicken fried quail appetizer is a must as is the Kingfish ceviche. Everyone was pleased with their entrees, you can’t go wrong with any of their choices. Make a reservation immediately!

We went to Quarter Acre for our Anniversary and had such a great time. The ambience is soothing, service impeccable and the food was delicious! We had the Rabbit Rilettes for starter, Amberjack fish and Venison Oso Buco. The menu is a diverse fusion with New Zealand touches, all the dishes were unique and not something you would normally find in a Dallas. Thank you for a great dinning experience!

Very nicely decorated and comfortable surroundings for an evening meal. The staff is pleasant and provides excellent and courteous service. We have the rabbit rillette, octopus, tortellini and venison off the fall menu which are all rich. Most dishes have a substantial sauce and combine multiple flavors and spices which overwhelm my palate but others may find them "complex."

We dined here with our friends, and had a lovely little evening. Our server was perfectly engaging in discussing the menu with us and helping us pick and choose the right amount of food. She also helped us pick out cocktails to our liking to start the evening. The sommelier was really knowledgeable and helped us pick a lovely bottle of wine. Every single dish was unbelievably good, and I loved the sharing nature of the snacks and appetizers (and desserts!). We will absolutely be back.

I live out of town but had discovered a great Restaurant - Homewood some time ago. Sadly it closed and my business partner and I were looking for another unique place to take our special customer to dinner. Nataly Keomoungkhoun from D magazine graciously helped and suggested Quarter Acre. What a perfect suggestion. Fabulous menu - great atmosphere - wonderful service - in a wonderful Dallas location. Prices were very reasonable especially when you consider the top level food and overall dining experience. We will be back for sure!!!

I can’t believe I have not been here sooner! An amazing experience and each course was just as good, if not better than the last. Russell was super knowledgeable about the whole menu as well as my dad’s wine pairing for his lamb dish. Could not recommend this place enough! The intricacy and craftsmanship of each dish was incredible. If you have not been here, you need to make a reservation, we even made another while finishing dessert.

We will definitely be back! The food itself and of course the plating as well is impeccable. Quarter Acre gives fine dining with a good value. The staff was attentive and works cohesively to ensure patrons are serviced. The menu truly is unique and one of a kind - we were already planning our next visit during our dinner.

I'm not even sure where to start since we're still coming off the fat high from that experience! This restaurant has craft; in their service, their flavors, and presentation everything was impeccable! We tend to watch our servers and they adjusted fire times for the pace at which we ate to orchestrate a beautifully timed meal. Their menu is dynamic and flavor packed with bases in classic cuisine and it also has a sense of place that gives delight to new presentations and dynamic pairings! We were an early evening table, so probably before the 'happening' dinner crowd, but this is certainly a nice place to have an incredible meal and hope to be able to talk to your companion(s) without needing to yell. High props to the prep cooks who took the time to score mushroom stems. Attention to detail on that level makes this a notable and memorable experience. Next time, I hope the Chef won't take offense at me licking a plate in his dining room because I would love to learn how your Saucier did that magic to the red-wine jus that accompanied the Short-Rib entrée! Food on this level is often served to Executives or tables of account-reps, tonight your food and your art were appreciated and noticed, no insta or photos, just two people enjoying really good food! Our thanks.

This is a restaurant where you have to wonder if they get many repeat diners. I respect the craft here but the sweet and sour flavors with lots of smoke just isn’t for me. You will have to read sour as your primary taste sense to enjoy it more than once. We were asked three times if it was our first time there (my pet peeve) and our waiter said “well then we have a lot to cover”. Ugh. Big long speech about the chefs career and what he is trying to accomplish. We heard a long speech about the 72 hour bread. Our waiter, Russell, completely disappeared after dropping the appetizers, and after having to endure his speech about trying to be Michelin without the Michelin, it was quite surprising that there was a 30 minute gap between our appetizers and our entrees. This after he insisted that we order everything at once so he can pace our meal. Oh and don’t forget the $6/ piece snacks. I had a one tiny bite of watermelon with foam around it and an oyster with you guessed it, foam. Ceviche, which should be sour, came with a sweet: foam. In my opinion, cooked fish should never read sour, but it does here. Funniest part of the evening was one of our party made the faux pas of asking for another piece of bread from another waiter as we never saw Russell again. He asked if we had been there before, and then started the speech about the 72 hour bread and that the bread is a “gift” from the chef and there was not an extra piece laying around to be had for her. Anyway, my recommendation to the chef is to let his cuisine do the talking. Anytime it has to be explained to this extent you are in trouble. Maybe requiring fewer waiter speeches would give them more time to check on the entrees. Glad we tried it, but one and done for us.

We were excited to try Quarter Acre and it did not disappoint! We had the mushroom croquettes and pork belly to start and the ceviche and the quail---it was all inventive and tasty and beautiful!! Service was attentive AND friendly and not rushed!! Great atmosphere for a date night or just to be able to chat and catch up with friends!

The food here and ambiance, along with the service was absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed the salmon, short rib, peas, arugula and apple salad, and potatoes, and of course, dessert. The chef here is especially skillful and we could tell very disciplined with his selection of quality raw ingredients, cooking and presentation. Very bespoke restaurant and highly recommend for a beautiful and delicious evening for a date night, or as a group with loved ones or friends.
