We go here regularly, food and service is excellent with a great bar staff as well. My only concern, since we go often are more choices or daily food options.
Excellent service and delicious food! The pizza is a must!
Food was delicious. Staff was very accommodating. Never felt rushed. It was a great evening with family.
Delicious! Caroline gave stellar service and made a fantastic bourbon recommendation. Definitely a must try if you like Italian cuisine.
Our sever Amanda was great! Her recommendation was so spot on I ate the whole plate!
Ringing in 2021 with style. Superb service and food as is usually the case. A bit noisy on the bar side of the building but it wasn’t a big issue. Everything was perfect including the Espresso Martini and dessert!
Cozy, clean, and quiet. The food is absolutely amazing! All made to order. Cocktails strong and delicious too. Has a New Orleans vibe to it with the flickering lanterns outside with an outside patio in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely 5 stars all the way around!
Always enjoy going to Quanto Basta!
What an awesome find!! Our waiter Nick was excellent, very personable and knowledgeable. The ambiance is unlike anything in Wilmington- owners did a fantastic job with design and layout. Everything we ordered was delicious from drinks to apps to main course. We had the cheese board and stuffed pepper (highly recommend); I got the short ribs based on prior reviews and they did not disappoint- cooked to perfection and the grilled gnocchi was excellent. Hubs got the tagliatelle with beef ragu which is authentically Italian and not heavy on sauce but full of flavor. We wrapped with the lemon sorbet and got the olive oil cake to go. Excellent meal despite covid, felt like we were on vacation. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nick for your excellent service!
Love this place. Upscale and urban chic. Sophie behind the bar is the diamond on the top of the setting. Great wine list and superb cuisine. I would just like them to stretch a bit on the offerings, take some
Chances and spread those culinary wings. Shoot the lights out with some specials. Set this restaurant apart from the ordinary.
Love this restaurant for its ambience and thee food is consistent and delicious! It is one of my favorite new restaurants on town!
Caroline is great server, food excellent, just need more selections. We go so often....
This is one of my new favorite places. The beef short ribs are amazing! Never disappointed here. Excellent food and I love the atmosphere.
We went to dinner for my birthday. This was our first time dining here and were excited. We were promptly met and escorted to our table. Our waiter was very attentive, Polite and knowledgeable regarding wine choices and menu items. When asked why we were there my daughter told him it was my birthday and he commented regarding providing a special treat at the end of our meal ( this did not happen as he waited on other tables)
The food was average as the Italian meals had minimal sauce on them ( eggplant, chicken park and spaghetti and
Meat balls) making it difficult to truly taste their sauce.
We loved this restaurant! Great food, wonderful service, and awesome food. We will be back soon and will share our experience with friends and neighbors.
Excellent food and amazing service! Our server Nick was very knowledgeable! Make sure to take advantage of half price wine Wednesday!
Everything was amazing from the service to the food !!
This was our 4th visit to Quanto Basta in the past 2 months....the food continues to be extraordinary! However, our waitress, Ashley, was a bit inattentive...not up to your normal standards.. but we will be back!
It was my daughter’s birthday and our first time at the restaurant. I requested a great table for the occasion. We were seated between the kitchen and restroom. There was a faint smell of bleach. Our server spilled one of the bottles of sparking water which splashed on my husband’s pants and shoes. She used profanity when the accident happened. She then used the cloth she wiped the floor with to wipe the table.
There was another server that came by with an additional cloth for my husband and apologized a few times for what happened. She offered to seat us at another table and did attempt to make things right.
This app forced me to rate the food to submit feedback but the food rating is unfair because we did not actually eat after getting off to such a bad start.
Always a great experience!! Can’t wait to go back!
Great place! You forget you are in Wilmington, and feels like you took a nice get away.
This is a truly beautiful restaurant! Their braised short rib is phenomenal and the cannolis are out of this word!!
The Dow Jones hit an all time high
We had a wonderful time! Server Jamison was fabulous. Sat in the courtyard...beautiful! Wine, Caesar salad, calimari, and beef short ribs ribs gnocchi were all on point. Will be back!!
Fantastic meal. Beautiful restaurant. Food was really great. Social distance perfectly too. Don’t miss this place!!! Best new restaurant in Wilmington
Food was reasonably priced but average in quality. I had the shrimp risotto which only had 5 shrimp and lots of risotto. No bread was offered to us. Sold out of the wine that we picked from the menu. Seated us in the far back next to the kitchen swing door which was very distracting. Lights too bright. No ambience. Very disappointed after reading such great reviews.
Enjoyable evening. Food was good, not great. Wait staff was gracious but oblivious that he had not brought us silverware or napkin, which we failed to get during our appetizer and had to ask for when our main course arrived. Atmosphere was good though as well as decor.
First visit and will be back. Will spread the word about the place.
Delicious food! Fun date night spot. We had the charcuterie board, ziti, and seafood pizza. All was delicious. My fiancé loved his cocktail and I had a glass of red wine. Very lively spot with a beautiful ambiance.
Having eaten at the "QB" more than a half a dozen times, I have tried most of the items on the menu. Each time, the food has been consistently good, and the dishes are exactly what Italian food should be: simple ingredients that taste great. They chef does not go over the top by adding more ingredients to make the dish appear more special. Among my favorites are: The Tagliatelle Bolognese - it is absolutely delightful. It's not in a traditional red sauce, but the flavors are amazing, and they make their tagliatelle pasta in-house. The shrimp scampi is very flavorful, but be mindful of the garlic; it is quite potent in this dish. The linguini and clams are just like my Grandma used to make, and the portion size and balance of flavors are just right - my only complaint is the bread. More bread! A new addition to the starter menu is the calamari. It is flash fried and done perfectly. QB is moderately priced, and it allows diners to enjoy dinner there more than once a week. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is like something you'd find in a more cosmopolitan area. My only criticism of the QB is give us more bread! We Italians like to "sop" up the sauce (especially the Scampi that does not come with any focaccia). We understand you do not want to be an "Olive Garden," but no bread with an Italian meal is unorthodox. :) Other than that, it's great, and I highly recommend it for an updated, delicious Italian meal with great people and nice atmosphere.
First visit to this new Wilmington restaurant. Nicely designed with three or four separate dining/drinking area. Very comfortable seating. Modest menu with a wide variety of dishes. Excellent food quality, well presented and delicious tasting. Priced well for the market and downtown location. Should be a big hit for those of us adventurous enough to wander out these days.
My Fiance and I went for a special date night out and it exceeded our expectations. We shared the Calamari appetizer and it was lightly fried and tasted so fresh. The chicken marsala with stuffed rigatoni and the beef short ribs barbaresco was amazing!! We also split the brownie affogato sundae and were so happy at the end of the meal we just kept smiling all the way home. The atmosphere was romantic and the service was impeccable and I wish I could remember our servers name now to compliment him. We will be running back for our next date night! Go to Quanto Basta and prepare to treat yourselves. You won't regret it!
We have enjoyed Quanto Basta numerous times. Each experience has been pleasant and the food is always great.
We were celebrating three delayed birthday celebrations due to Covid. This is a stunning location. The food and service were exceptional.
Fantastic atmosphere, food and service. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent food in well done modern environment.
Everything was great. Beautiful restaurant, food was a good value and service was excellent.
Had reservations, not seated on time, do we ate at bar. Great experience, Joel and Sophie at bar were wonderful. Food great as always
From start to finish everything was perfect!! Can’t wait to go back!!
