Great Place, Great food and great service! House wine also very good!
We had a fantastic experience! Look forward to a future visit back.
Great food and service. Corn Creme Brûlée was to die for
Jeff's (our waiter) recommendations were great. Food was served at a perfect temperature. Portions were larger than expected. I really enjoyed the combination of flavors from their different dishes. We had the slab bacon with peanut butter, Short Rib hash, Porterhouse for 2, and crispy potatoes. Along with a nice Malbec that Jeff also recommended. All was amazing!
I did not enjoy this restaurant. The arrival experience was great. Very dark but I guess that’s their design . Our waiter started off great , but forgot about us after we placed our order, never came back to check on us. A second waiter offered us dessert and was very courteous and kind to my daughter. I ordered a medium well porterhouse for 2, it was burnt and it was well done, so more than half was uneaten, $120 down the drain. I didn’t complain about it. The sides were ok, the salmon was ok. Their dinner menu has very little options.
Great food and service.
The bread is now “by request” which is disappointing based on the expensive prices. Pretty short sided
Oysters weren't chucked. 2 dozen!. We had to scrape them out ourselves and got little pieces of the inside shell in or mouths. When we complained, the waitress just said she'll tell the chef. No compensation or
Very happy I finally made it to this place. Took my husband for his birthday. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend
The staff was friendly and polite. Accommodated our requests.
We came here to celebrate a friends birthday dinner and luckily we were with a group that wanted to share all the sides and appetizers so we got to try soooooo many different things. Everything we ate was incredible. The corn creme brûlée was standout and so was my short rib dish. But all the things were amazing. Will be dreaming of this meal for years to come!
Presentation lacked imagination. More importantly, the food lacked flavor. Simply stated- overpriced.
Outstanding, fun, cool vibe steak house. This is my third time dining here and always come when in the city looking for a great steak. Very cool restaurant and outstanding service. Menu is limited especially if you don't eat steak but there is chicken and fish.
The bacon appetizer was delicious and an interesting combination of flavors. Restaurant was very busy but the with multiple levels and imaginative dining "rooms" you don't feel like you are on top of each other.
The steak was delicious. I expected a larger tomahawk (go big or go home! I don't eat at steakhouses often) but honestly, it was plenty. Avoid the crispy potato side and enjoy one of the others instead. Excellent dessert (the strawberry shortcake ice cream) and the draft mule cocktail was super.
It’s really expensive (even for NYC), but the quality of the steaks and other dishes here is second to none.
The food, ambiance, and waiter were phenomenal! I love this restaurant!
It was great food , but the noise level was extremely loud . Service was on point , food was well presented and very savory ..
Quality Meats is awesome. I was dining solo and sat outside. Taking in the City while having an amazing green goddess salad and delicious salmon was perfect. The service was professional and warm. Lovely summer evening. Thank you!
LOVED the Steak Tartar, the Filet and the corn creme brûlée was amazing. The Hanger Steak was borderline awful. The service was okay, but they were far from attentive.
For a higher end dining establishment, it was just okay. Probably wouldn’t go back with a lot of options for better service.
What a wonderful surprise! My biggest compliment is in a city full of restaurants and choices, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Sommelier Robert was a great help and the two bottles he picked out were excellent. Great ambiance, great staff, great food! Everything I’m looking for in a restaurant.
The experience was awesome, service was extraordinary as well as the food. Definitely recommend if your in the area.
The quality of service and food is worthy of its name. They are very sensitive to the needs of the customers. They are very thoughtful. When they learned it was our wedding anniversary, they gave us a very delectable dessert. The presentation was nicely done. As always, the experience is amazing.
Awesome food and music was great. Perfect atmosphere
We shared everything: special short rib and special cauliflower for appetizers, the porterhouse for 2, and the corn creme brûlée as a side.
The special short rib was a bit chewy. I enjoyed more than my friend, who had 3 bites and stopped eating it. Ended up taking most of it as leftovers.
We both devoured the special cauliflower.
The porterhouse for 2 was massive, delicious, flavorful, juicy and cooked medium per my friend’s request. (Personally, I prefer medium rare, so the meat was a bit more chewy than I am used to.) Overall it was excellent, especially once the waiter brought special barbecue sauce for the steak. I had asked for it to be sliced and it came more in large square chunks than slices. Took a couple of chunks back as leftovers — excited to continue eating that.
The corn creme brûlée came highly recommended as the “signature side” and I can see why! It was their version of creamed corn, made creme brûlée style with flambéed sugar on top. Absolutely delicious.
Maybe it was because we made a reservation at 9pm on a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed and LOUD. It was electric for a steakhouse. It took them 15 minutes to seat us so we were seated at 9:15pm. There isn’t really a waiting area, and the darkness made it a bit club-like by the bar. I think if you’re waiting it should be a bit lighter and maybe add some stools as well so people aren’t standing around blocking the main area. When we ended up getting seated on the second floor, it was so loud that neither of us could hear each other; the sound reverberating around the restaurant. So, we asked to move and the hostess was able to move us outside to a more private covered wooden booth with a fan — which was ideal on a warm and rainy summer evening. Appreciated their ability to move us.
The servers were attentive and descriptive, helping guide us and recommend us food for our meal. Overall the food was a bit pricey for steak & worth it!
Excellent food , fantastic service from Jeff !! Can’t wait to come back
Quality Meats was a fabulous experience. We tried to dine there in July 2019, but a large part of NYC lost power right after we ordered our meal. They gave us the bottle of wine for free and got us over to a sister restaurant that night for a great dinner. This was our return trip, and we couldn't have been happier. The service was perfect (got a number of recommendations along the way), the steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them, the ambiance was lovely, and they gave us a free dessert for our wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening!
It was the worst filet mignon i’ve ever had. It wasn’t tender, it wasn’t easy to cut. I was expecting a better quality for a $55!! filet mignon. They take a lot of time to bring you a simple beer and the place is soooo noisy you can’t barely talk. they have too many tables in a small space, the tables for 2 people are so close each other that it looks like everyone is sitting together. it’s a shame because it’s well decorated, good luck
Amazing food. Amazing drinks. Amazing atmosphere. Met great people. Best steak I’ve ever had.
The bone marrow NEEDS to come back on the menu.
I think the meat was great! A little pricey to be fair but great. The wine however was shocking. I have been a lot of these wineries and the mark up on the bottles were insane. A normally 60-70 dollar bottle was going for average 200 - that to me is too much.
Amazing service and fantastic food! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a high energy phenomenal dining experience
This was our second time dining at Quality Meats. We had fantastic service from Jeff and his team and great food. Filet was grilled to perfection and my wife's salmon was done perfectly. Very interesting side dishes. Try the cream corn brulee. We will return again when we are back in NYC.
Had our first team event since the pandemic. The service was great, and the food was well prepared. The house Bordeaux was reasonable value. Thanks!
Always excellent meal and service.
Easily the best steaks my wife and I have ever had. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Must try if you're a steak lover.
Unbelievable service! The team and the food were absolutely phenomenal.
Great experience as always
Setting and decor is really cool. Looks like an RH catalogue. Food was top notch - bacon w/peanut butter and jalapeños blew us away.
