   Another GREAT NYC steakhouse. Had the Hamachi, Filet and a side of Yorkshire Creamed Spinach. All delicious. Good wine by the glass selection. Too full for dessert! Love the place.

   Our experience at this restaurant was always very good, until today. We had a reservation for 3pm, arrived few minutes before, but for our surprise the kitchen was closing in 20 minutes; after our fast lunch, the waiter insisted to me to be check, but I was appreciating the wine that he recommend me with my family. I think today it wasn’t a good experience.

   This was my first time here. I can't say much more than it was OK. This is not the best steakhouse in NYC, it has a very modest and mediocre fish selection (not up to par with competition), the food was ok, and the pricing was maybe a little less than most other steak houses I have frequented. Being that this was a client lunch, I would have rather spent more money and been wowed. But it was OK...

   We went for a life milestone celebration, and the staff could not have been more helpful and congratulatory. They were wonderful and went out of the way to help us celebrate. The food and ambiance were outstanding. This should be on our must-go to list.

   Quantity? Sure. Quality? Not so much. A good char on a $70 medium rare sirloin is great but mine, frankly, was burnt and bitter. I can’t help feeling that I spent a lot of money on something I could found for better value with superior cookery elsewhere. The service, however, was great and we met some really nice fellow diners.

   The service was not what I usually have received when dining at QM. And the filet mignon has moved to a bone-in which was not listed in the menu and caused a bit of a blip in my expectation.

   Excellent meal all around. We started with Vesper martinis, delicious. For appetizers we had the caviar and grilled bacon. Both incredible. For dinner, we had filet Mignon with creamed spinach and the quality potato paired with a Zinfandel & Pinot Noir. Everything was outstanding. The meat was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I found mine just a touch too salty, but ate every bite nonetheless. The staff is very well trained. We had a great dinner here and look forward to going back soon!

    Everything was wonderful, best drinks, never a let down. Service was incredible, we were not rushed to free the table. Only suggestion is a bathroom on the main floor. Being seated on the second floor is a trek to the basement.

    Another incredibly delicious dinner in our favorite luxurious cabin at Quality Meats! Our steak, salmon, salads and sides were so scrumptious -- as always! If you go, definitely order the brussels sprouts -- they are out of this world and melt in your mouth. The outdoor cabins are gorgeously decorated and fully heated -- you would have no idea how cold it is outside, and won't even need a sweater. Each private cabin has its own whimsical theme (giraffes, flamingos, elephants, etc.) with coordinated lamps , wallpaper, and accessories -- you feel as if you are dining in a beautiful, cozy dining room in someone's lovely home. Every single server is phenomenal -- they are all kind, funny, skilled, knowledgable, personable, and extremely professional making dining at Quality Meats a fantastic experience every time! Can't wait to return soon!

    For a steak house, disappointed. Overall, for the price point there are better steakhouses to be had in NYC. Apps: Tuna Tar Tare - couldn't taste the tuna, was overshadowed by too much hot sauce and orange flakes. Looks good on the menu. Butternut squash soup with Gingerbread croutons was very yummy. Farmers Salad w/mustard vinaigrette very good, not overdressed. Dinner: Aged Cowboy Steak - cooked to perfection, the Caramelized Onion Jus very tasty could do without the Horseradish Cream (very little bite) almost tasted like whipped cream. Sides: Corn Crème Brûlée - that's a keeper. Yorkshire Creamed Spinach, spinach was good however, Yorkshire pudding had no flavor, better to serve just the spinach.

    Everything was great ! The food , the ambience . The wine ! Thank you for advertising 5 stars and living up to just that ! I will be back for more ! Have the filet with the gnocchi and cheese and the corn creme. You’ll thank me later 😉

    Waited 36 minutes to be seated for a 7:30pm reservation and that was after arriving 45 minutes early. Bar service was inattentive during the wait and drink order was botched. Hanger steak was too well done and had the texture of beef jerky. Roasted chicken was inundated with sauce that was too sweet. Hostess could have been more communicative at least informing us that early accommodations would not be possible or status of the table. Wait staff was otherwise fine.

    Great find! Vibey atmosphere. Quality meats, as advertised. The appetizers and sides are also delicious. The crème brûlée corn is a must. You won’t even need to order dessert.

    Second time to visit this restaurant. The first time was absolutely the best meal! This time the steak was over cooked and charred. Precious views raves about their pan roasted potatoes. Well they were basically crunchy potato chips. Slight disappointing. Waiter was fabulous and took care of my steak. Will go again next time in the city.

    The waitress we had was amazing!!!! (I should have got her name). Her knowledge of the menu was outstanding, lovely disposition and very attentive. She made excellent recommendations including from the extensive wine list. The food was first class. We have travel extensively and the 500 ounce tomahawk was the best we have had anywhere…..we shared it between 4 adults. The corn, gnocchi and duck fat potatoes sides where amazing. It’s definitely up there $ wise but absolutely worth it if you’re a steak (beef fan)

    Overall it was excellent, but we did feel rushed through our meal. The food is very good and rich…which requires some time between courses. For what we spent, the restaurant should let us sit a bit in between. Having said that, 100% recommend!
