Aged Rib Steak
Dry Aged Porterhouse
Matt, one of the waiters, took excellent care of my fiancé and I. We came to celebrate my birthday and it was nothing short of spectacular. We were seated in a private heated booth; it was so cute and quaint. Perfect for social distancing and it gave us that private dining feeling. From the delicious porterhouse with truffle butter, corn creme brûlée and truffle fries, to the yummy burnt marshmallow ice cream. All the food and drinks were outstanding!! Th porterhouse especially melts in your mouth! The team even wrote “Happy Birthday” on the dessert place; what a nice surprise. We’ll be back!
excelente cena y los postres sobresalientes, ademas de la buena ubicación
We were celebrating Mother’s Day at the restaurant and our reservation was 8pm. The restaurant was only half full at this hour but we were put in the worst table in the restaurant. We had to request change of seats. We were then put in a nicer table. After we ordered the food, we were waiting for our bread. We waited 15 mins and I asked one of waiter if he can bring us some bread. He told us that we have to request the bread. It turned down my mood instantly. The waiter who took our order shall at least ask if we need some bread. Most of the restaurants in nyc offers breads to customer without asking especially at this price range. More ridiculous is we had about one full glass of wine left in the bottle and it was taken away during our meal and we were noticed! Over all, we were not satisfied and don’t think we will visit the restaurant again in the future.
good food and good experience. This bill is big but that’s expected
We decided on Quality Meats for our Mother’s Day dinner it was just the 2 of us and our 7month old, the food and service was absolutely amazing ! We have been to quiet a few steakhouses in the city and this was by far our favourite. Also the house made steak sauce was unbelievable. Will definitely be recommending to friends and we will definitely be back ! Thank you for such a great evening!
Wait service was not as attentive as i wanted it to be. Brussel sprout side was luke warm and sauce was overwhelming. Steak was great as usual.
My 3rd visit. As usual, stellar service and the food is always amazing.
I’d give the restaurant 3.5 stars out of 5 overall. The service was excellent and the ambiance was fine (we ate inside but would have preferred outside). But the food is rather overpriced for the quality. The steak was just ok and they didn’t serve any sauces to go with it. I would recommend another steak house such as Wolfgang’s or Fogo de Chao. They are as expensive but the food is much better
Menu seemed limited to what it was prior to COVID-19 but food was great and was an overall great experience
Beautiful dinner and extraordinary food. We did the porterhouse for two with a variety of sides. The steak was cooked to perfection and our favorite sides were the corn creme brûlée & the creamed spinach. Be sure to ask for monkey bread! The dessert was also fabulous, highly recommend the toffee pudding one.
My first trip back to NYC since the outbreak of Covid-19, and I knew this is where I wanted to go. QM did not disappoint. Service was wonderful, and the steak was amazing. You have to try to Lobster Toast appetizer.
Food was great!
Had an amazing time! Service was great and food was delicious.
Loved everything about this place! Great server, great food, great restaurant.
Food was incredible. Get the corn brûlée.
Was disappointed with my cocktail. Half the rocks glass filled with huge cubes and I am sure it wasn’t even a shot of makers mark and no cherries in an old fashion?
Food was outstanding, we had a little bit of everything. Started with cocktails and apps and also tried their own signature wine with dinner. Creamed spinach & broccoli and cheese bites were so worth the calories. All was delicious! Can’t wait to go back.
My birthday dinner — couldn’t have been better, can’t wait to come back.
Outstanding food and service!!! My kids love the dessert- ice cream.
I expected a NYC steakhouse in midtown to be a letdown, but this experience was mostly excellent. We started with the lobster toast. It was the only part of the meal which wasn’t excellent. We should have known that it would be heavy with truffle butter, but in our case it was just too much. On the plus side, the lobster itself was fresh, tender, delicious, and plentiful. Our Martini’s were as ordered and done perfectly (you wouldn’t believe how many places can screw up something so simple). We ordered two filet mignon, one for me, and one for sharing. They were butterflied, so don’t be afraid of medium - it was a hot red center. I went with medium well, since I didn’t want to deal with any rawness, and it was a perfect med-well and fantastic, but next time I won’t be worried about medium. The Parmesan waffle fries were very good, but the pan fried sliced potato’s on the table next to us looked even better (my FOMO showing through). Brussels sprouts were whole sliced longwise, and well prepared, firm but not crispy. The service was excellent, and we found the entire staff to be friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon.
Great food. Service got a little slow as they got busier but the food is impeccable.
EXCELENTE SERVICIO Y ALMIMETOS
Dinner was great! The food was reasonably priced for a restaurant so close to Central Park. The wine list provided a lot of options and the Somm was very knowledgeable and helped us narrow it down to a beautiful full bodied bottle. Was a little disappointed that there weren’t too many beef choices, considering that is their main focus. Overall a great experience and we would definitely return!
We made it a light night, but a great night with a few handcrafted cocktails and some delicious appetizers. We shared there famous monkey bread with salt and herbs and it is just as delicious as I remembered. We then proceeded with the steak tartare (prepared tableside) that was fresh, flavorful and savory, which was then followed by the slab bacon with peanut butter and jalapeno jam. OMG, that was fantastic with the added cubed cuke and the chunky PB for texture. I really missed this spot and glad we had the opportunity to try it again. I look forward to the next dining experience.
The black truffle lobster appetizer was amazing! The steak however was good, but not great. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the outdoor structure was very pandemic chic.
Everything was fantastic! The corn creme brulee was one of the most unique and amazing dishes I have ever had. I can't wait to go back and have it again!
came here with my fiancé for our anniversary .the place was beautiful and the food and services was on point.
So excellent to return! We booked for outside seating. I had hoped we'd be in one of the "cabins", but it turns out those are for larger groups, so we were on the sidewalk. The steak was divine and the creme corn brulee was even butter than normal. Sorbet for the birthday girl made it a special evening.
Well, I just ate the best steak I have had in years. On the inside, it was cooked to perfection. On the outside, it was seasoned and charred by a team that must be functioning in true expert mode. Why am I coming out the gate on the meat? Because, it's the titular aspect of this establishment. Everything else, from sides to wine, service to ambience is curated to supplement the meat. And it shows.
If you are reconnecting with an old beau from college, go to Quality Meats. If you're pretentious uncle is in town and considers himself a food aficionado, go to Quality Meats. If you need a pick me up dinner-for-one, go. to. Quality. Meats.
The question below this text box asks me if I would recommend Quality Meats to a friend? Duh. Friends, parents, that random high school friend peddling the hottest MLM on social media- doesn't matter. Everyone should experience the craft-mastery of Quality Meats.
Great dinner overall. A little noisy for an intimate anniversary dinner but otherwise, service impeccable and drinks and food were delicious
Seated in outdoor cabin for 3. Nicely constructed space and enough privacy for outdoor. Felt safe to dine. Salad were good portion but slightly over dressed. Steaks were nice and flavorful. We all ordered medium rare but one piece was more medium than MR. The cake stand cake was photo worthy. Overall good experience. Will dine again
I love Quality Meats but this last time was a bit different. Maybe it is the impact of covid. It was definitely different.
Amazing food , amazing service! Barron took really good care of us. Will go back next time we are in NY
Amazing food! Amazing service! Amazing wine! The sticky toffee pudding changed my life. Wish I could give them a million stars.
Food was great. Steak was one of the best I’ve had and their bbq ribs were phenomenal. Gnocchi and cheese was ridiculously good.
I heard about monkey bread in other reviews, but didn’t see it on menu nor was offered it. Not sure if that’s still a thing? Also, slightly confused on who my waiter was, as one person took my drink, then another food order. Then back and forth between the two. Didn’t really know who to ask questions to.
The food and service were outstanding, as always. Highly recommend.
Birthday girl had a wonderful time ❤️🙏
Joanne was the best! An incredible steak and a delicious caesar salad- this is our new go-to spot for a good steak. We'll be back soon!
Great food and service all around. Loved the outdoor cabin setups.
My wife and decided to try out this steakhouse and are ecstatic that we did.
Rarely do we find a steakhouse where EVERYTHING was perfect!
Our server,Joanne was excellent, attentive and helpful without being intrusive!!
Our Porterhouse for two was cooked to perfection!
The house wine, oyster appetizer, and Caesar salad were all excellent!
The Yorkshire creamed spinach was the best we have ever had in a steakhouse and the pan roasted potatoes were outstanding!!
We definitely plan to return!
Food was excellent. They have a terrific outdoor setup for those not ready to dine indoors.
