The varied menu focuses on modern interpretations of classic dishes such as Traditional Steak Tartare, Caesar Salad and Roasted Bone Marrow, in addition to several cuts of beef from legendary New York butchers Milton Abeles and Strassburger Meats.
The restaurant's side dishes alone merit a trip with innovative house specialties, including Corn Crème Brulee, Gnocchi and Cheese and Edamame with Mint Salt. The Quality Meats chefs are Craig Koketsu (Lespinasse, Stars) as executive chef and Cory Colton (Lespinasse, St.Regis) on pastry. The restaurant has a warm industrial atmosphere, created by award-winning AvroKO and features intimate dining areas, a comfortable bar area with well-stocked charcuterie bar.

Tables for two are too closely positioned we actually know too much about the two couples each side of us. Not good. Love the food, service ambience will likely not return with a party of two.
The food was top quality, as usual, with excellent table service. Unfortunately, my party was put off immediately when we walked in the door by an ill mannered and pushy man working the host stand.

This is a restaurant that serves great food, in a great environment, with great service. By my standards it is expensive but that is because you should consider the price as including anticipation of a great meal, then a great meal and finally recollection of a great meal. Comparing it to La Pacora Bianca (pardon my spelling), where I actually had a manager tell me to "Pay up and get out," this was absolute heaven.
Try to get here, it is definitely the benchmark for a fine restaurant.

We had a reservation at 8:30 and they did not seat us until 9:15. Then our food was very very slow to come up. They apologized and brought us two appetizers and two desserts but we much rather would liked to be seated close to our reservation. It was a very disappointing dinner experience . Quality meats has always been one of our favorites and we would always recommend it to friends...very disappointed.
Excellent food from the Bone marrow, to the potatoes and Porterhouse for two. Very satisfied with the presentation and preparedness of our steaks. Highly recommend!
I have dined at this restaurant several times. The food is always delicious and the service very good! The hanger steak with cherries is a standout! My friend loved his birthday celebration dinner!!! This is my go to steak house in NY!!

Nice place. We were seated at a table which was near a cold draft, so it was cold during our whole meal. Our first entre was sent back cause it was overcoooked. We got a new one pretty quick, but by then our sides were cold. We have had great experiences with Quality Meats before, but this was a bit of a letdown.
I would highly recommend this place food and the service were both top notch.

My husband has been to Quality Meats on previous business trips to NY and had remembered enjoying the ambiance and dining experience of the restaurant. Although the service was great I found the food to be only fair. I had a filet special and my husband a bone in filet, preceded by a lobster scampi as an appetizer. Generally I found the food to be overly salted. It was a pleasant dining experience but it hasn’t made the grade for my top picks for NYC.

Appetiser was good. But grilled asparagus was overcooked And we got the new one but still burnt tasted. That makes us lose our appetite. And the server saying “better?” 🙃 what a polite.

I loved everything from start to finish. We went to a different steakhouse last night and I was disappointed. Quality meats was by far superb. Our waiter Bartek was spectacular and attentive. The management was fabulous. The steak was the best I have had in years and I’m a huge steak eater. I loved the homemade steak sauce. The green chopped salad was perfection. The 14 oz filet melted in my mouth and I could cut it with my fork. I am in love with this place. I can’t wait to come back. I’m super excited about Quality Meats.

The food was excellent. It was a nice change to have a really good steak without it being served on a 500 degree plate that keeps the meat cooking and can burn you.
Our steak was top quality and perfectly done as specified.

Food and service is spectacular! Room is almost too dark to read the menu and the music choice (rap/R&B) definitely did NOT fit the clientele. PLEASE don't try to be "cool or hip" just be amazing.
Inattentive and rude staff, nothing explained from the menu, even when I asked for recommendations.
Ordered the porterhouse, medium, came out rare which was fine, but the steak was unseasoned, possibly the worst steak I've had in a long time. I'm not one to complain but it was really bad. Both me and my friend came to the same conclusion.
You need better flavor and quality from a $300 meal.

I didn't like the service. The waiter was in a hurry, for our meat we asked for medium well and he brought well done, more than well done. I had more expectations beacause many friends recomended us the place.
I was at this restaurant a week ago and didn’t have the greatest experience at the beginning due to a late seating. BUT, they made up for it with apps. I was so impressed with the food, ambience, wait staff and how they handled the delayed seating, that I booked a dinner reservation for my brother and sister-in-law. They would be in town a week later on Labor Day weekend.
Also, Joel(Guest relations manager) reached out to me about my previous experience and wanted to make sure my brothers experience was nothing less than perfect.
Most restaurants will brush off an out of town guest. Quality Meats went above and beyond. They handled an issue head on, made my reservation and my brothers separate reservation a night to remember.
I would fly to NYC just for this place. TOP NOTCH!

Mood in the restaurant was sick. Customer might need wear more than business casual. The best restaurant for a couple. Steaks were tender but tasty. You must pay money for the steak and atmosphere.
Food is always the best. The Dry aged rib eye was perfect as always. Only reason for losing a star is that the staff keep pushing me to order and pay the bill. I know the restaurant was busy and they like the table back. But I also wanted a relaxing meal after a hard day. In total, I only stayed 1.5 hours which was not unreasonably long.
