   Although I normally love the food here, I was quite disappointed by the white asparagus. For $18, I got 4 pieces of asparagus crammed so tightly in the serving dish that it was hard to cut them. The asparagus was very tough and hard, with an odd, unpleasant charred flavor, while the Hollandaise sauce had almost no flavor. Overall it was terrible. I also had the soft shell crab. The crab was tasty but it was served with soggy strawberries with a strong vinegar flavor and I found the pairing rather odd. The Hemingway spritz cocktail was great, and the bacon and peanut butter appetizer was quite good. The sticky toffee pudding was the best part of the meal. The service was nothing special.

   Had been to Quality Meats many years back, and came here with another couple this evening. I'll start with the good: Ambience, really nice, not too noisy, great upscale bathrooms, good use of space Drinks: bartender very friendly, makes a mean espresso martini, good wine selection Apps: The tuna tartare was excellent, meatballs were ok And now the not so good: Waitress was not personable at all, literally never introduced herself and said no more than 10 words to us all night. My NY strip was straight up bad, tough as hell and underseasoned. My wife's tuna which she ordered Medium was beyond well done...like tough as rubber and also flavourless. The corn side was not bad but the brulee top was so sweet it was almost inedible, so we all peeled it off and ate the base. Gnocchi was ok. Honestly I wanted to love this place but it fell flat... I'm hoping it was just an off night..

   We love a steakhouse and, when we initially walked in, we were concerned because of how “trendy” the vibes were but the food and service 100% won us over.

    Might be the best steakhouse in nyc. Robert the sommelier was impeccable and outstanding. Portions are large and tasty. Staff is amazing.
