Diners can expect hearty, flavorful dishes such as a short rib for two, double tomahawk rib steak and roasted suckling pig, along with a variety of enticing seafood.
We arrived at the restaurant and were seated immediately as per our reservation. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of everything and he catered to our every thought. It was My fiancé’s birthday So I asked to have a dessert customized to honor it. They went above and beyond my expectations. Even as far as to having the GM and Exec. Chef sign a Personal Birthday cars for her. I’ll definitely be returning here and I strongly suggest it to anyone interested. *We are from Lafayette, Louisiana.*
The bartender was exceptional. Food good and service at table was good.
Food was underwhelming. Octopus was fantastic as was the appetizer bread and watermelon. However, entree was just ok. Decent seasoning on the branzino. Waitress was nice but forgot twonitems we ordered. The place was not packed at all due to the virus. She may have forgotten our entire if sheactually had to multitask
Service was excellent, portions were very large, waiters and staff were very attentive. Food and steaks were excellent as well.
The atmosphere was great. The food was only mediocre.
Very good service was exceptional
Food was really good. Wine list was just far too expensive.
Server was awful. Lied to us about wine to try and get us to purchase more expensive bottles. Service was so slow- 3 hr dinner with 14 people.
Really great steaks- terrible Irish coffee - forgot to Bill wine - eventually everything settled happily - one square wheel on this wagon but will definitely go back
We had dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had the three filets and my wife had the wagyu pastrami brisket. The three filets were a little overdone for my taste even though I ordered rare. The steaks were good but not the best I have ever had. The pastrami brisket my wife ordered was amazing. It was way too much for her to eat but she loved it. The Brussels sprouts we ordered for a side had great texture and flavor. All in all it was an excellent meal.
Service was terrible and food came out overcooked and cold - pretty expensive dinner for underwhelming service and food. Really cool place though and very convenient to the Royal Palm hotel.
Always a wonderful time at Quality Meats. Whenever we come to Miami, it is a must visit before leaving. Delicious food, great ambiance, great wine.
The biggest problem with this restaurant Is the portions of outstanding meats! Neither my wife nor I were able to finish the outstanding servings despite our serious try to do so!
Service and ambiance were lovely and appropriate. We stayed at a hotel next door making it very convenient.
Overall an excellent dining experience!
All the food was very well prepared. I went to to dinner with my brother and my mother. They split an appetizer - something with quinoa and octopus which they said was great. My brother and I split the tomahawk steak it was perfectly cooked. I also added a side of sautéed spinach. My mother ordered a burger with fries which she said was great. I also have a laundry list of food allergies which the waiter was fantastic about and there was no hesitation around accommodating me, which I truly appreciated. We’re from New York and have eaten at Quality Meats in the city and we’re excited to try the one here while visiting Miami & it didn’t disappoint.
Exquisite. Appetizers , salads, entrees all great. Love all their locations.
Might be a top 5 restaurant for me globally. The Bacon / peanut butter appetizer is absolutely THE BEST! I retuned 1 year later and it was still perfect.
The corn brûlée was to die for. I gave this place a 3 overall because it wasn’t worth the pricing. Yes it was delicious and the ambiance was nice, but i felt because we didn’t order something EXPENSIVE like the server had suggested, he no longer was interested in making our experience pleasant.
We also declined a second bottle of water, but was brought one anyways. Meanwhile they are $10 a piece.
Food was great though, everything cooked perfectly. And the flavors were wonderful.
My husband and I went there to celebrate our 30th anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I had a reservation for 6 on a Sunday (when they opened). I was looking forward to the Wine Dinner, which is advertised for all day on Sundays. It wasn't offered as an option to me, and was not on the menu. My water glass had lipstick on it; the lobster cocktail was so brimming with ice that ice fell all over the table; the "broccoli and cheese bites" were clearly pre-made, probably frozen, and served lukewarm; my drink was served after my first course arrived; and the steak tartare tasted like ketchup. One bright spot: The view of Collins and the people-watching were fantastic.
Everything expertly prepared.
Not quite the same experience as NYC - still good. Just not as good.
The service was perfect and food was delicious. We enjoyed the wine menu dining experience.
Quality Meats is hands-down the BEST steakhouse in south Florida! Dave at the bar took excellent care of us and poured us Canvasback Washington Red Mountain Cabernet, which perfectly complemented the thick-cut bacon appetizer, creatively plated with a peanut butter & jalapeño jelly sauce & balanced with a topping of finely diced green apple! It was so inventive, delicious, and balanced-wow! Then we had the filet mignon, so tender we cut it with a fork! We topped the evening off with a burnt marshmallow ice cream scoop, so delish! Come once and you’ll be back for more!
The team made our engagement celebrations the most special night!! I couldn’t even start to describe how wonderful the staff was. 10/10 would recommend!! We’ll be stopping again by next time we’re in town.
We are happy to hear your special night went well!
Incredibly slow service. We left after the first course which took nearly an hour to arrive so cancelled dinner. Prices are outsized for the quality and quantity. There are many better choices for dinner in SOBE.
When we arrived our server was very attentive, but as he got busier, we were neglected. At this level of establishment I shouldn’t have to pour my wine, ask for water, ask for anything, especially a manager. But we did and the GM in an attempt to fix the situation, gave us 50% off, but lacked the concern or sincerity we were looking for. We then needed to seek out or check, then had to find someone to take our payment, which ended up being the server as he tracked us down, attempted to apologize and waited for us to pay the check and hand it to him. Very uncomfortable situation. However, I do believe the server had the appropriate skills, but the restaurant did not seem to be staffed properly for him to do the proper job. Bad on the management team, and the server for not recognizing the situation. I would not recommend this location, but love the NYC place as we have been there numerous times.
i am sorry to hear about your experience after trying to correct the night of to make it right with you. I will be reaching out in a private message to try and win you back. We dropped the ball toward the end of the meal and will continue to fix and make it right for you
The food was good, not great. Service sucked. One meal was 30 minutes late to the table. Wine came 40 minutes after ordering. Spoke to Manager, he was ambivalent to the whole mess. Why come here with all the better options nearby? Not us.
Anniversary. Lived it.
Great service and good atmosphere. Steak was great but fries were overcooked
Posto carino ma troppo caro . Non vale il
I've been to Quality Meats many times. The food is always fantastic. However, this time the music was SO loud we could not have any conversation at the table. Service was, well less than normal. However it was a holiday so I guess that is to be expected. I'll go again, but if the music continues to be as loud as it was this night, it will be my last patronage.
Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife.
Drinks took a while, filet mignon was burnt and check came over charged.
Service was slow and the server was pretty rude when we would ask any questions about the menu. He would barely come around and we were mostly attended by the bus boy because we had to flag him down. I ordered my filet mignon to be medium temperature but it came out extremely RARE. No one came around to check if the food was good and when the bus boy came to get our plates, which still had my entire piece of raw filet, I told him it was raw so he offered to throw it back on the grill but by that time the sides were already cold and my husband had already finished eating. We were never brought out the complementary bread... we had to repeatedly ask for it. The Caesar salad looked and tasted like it was from one of those pre-made grocery store salad bags.. there was no taste to it and the lettuce was already soggy. It was pretty gross. We couldn’t even substitute the Caesar salad for something else because it was a limited menu, WITH ONLY ONE SALAD CHOICE so we were stuck with it. We had an OpenTable reward and when we presented it to the waiter, he said he couldn’t accept it (being lazy). Our response was “you sent me out raw food, I sent it back and now you won’t accept this? (the certificate)”.. so we asked for the manager. We usually love quality meats and often go for all our special occasions but this was unacceptable.
Hello, I apologize to hear about this and we should have corrected this situation immediately. I will reach out to discuss further
Hello, thank you for inquiring. My fiancé and I went on Valentine’s Day - it was a our first Vday engaged so it was supposed to be special and We chose quality meats because of our past experience. However, when reservations were made there was no note of the prefixe menu, the filet mignon was cooked poorly, the sides were ok, and I was given the wrong dessert at the end. The service was rushed and now that I think of it my favorite drink the gimelet that I was so excited to have was not good either. Overall the experience was rushed and overpriced for the experience. I remember telling my fiancé that i felt it was a food factory, getting patrons in, serving them quickly and checking out. I was not impressed.
yikes yikes yikes
We were sat down immediately which was very nice considering it was Valentine’s Day. The service was good when we arrived, but after we ordered we had to constantly flag down waiters to remove the dirty dishes and to refill our water. We ordered meat medium temp and they arrived rare-medium rare no one asked us how our dinner was (considering it was an expensive restaurant). Overall, it was a ok experience. Maybe will return on a non-holiday.
Service was horrible had to wait 1/2 just to order drinks after being seated. Never got bread the filet we ordered medium both came out rare. Definitely won’t be coming back the this location!
