Quality Italian - New York

Outdoor seating is tough for everyone especially considering the environment and the cold weather but even with that we probably just had our only bad experience here. Normally we would give this place 10 stars out of 5 but this time around we were seated next to someone who was coughing in our direction (not the fault of the restaurant) but we had to send back our steak twice after we asked for well done (wife’s preference not mine) and the third time it was brought it was so charred - guess the result of sending it back multiple times. We also weren’t offered the bread and had to ask for it several times.

Again - we love this place and would still recommend it to everyone - but we were very disappointed this time around.

Food was superb. But we went on a winter evening for outdoor seating. Unfortunately it was windy and no walls around. So take out may be a better option during these times.

Will recommend the Chicken Parmesan Pizza. Loved the Tuscan Fries.

The heat lamps do zero suggest

They have the best heaters to dine outside. We were warm.
The staff was spot on courteous and professional. The food was excellent. The salad dressing was delicious. The lemon zest makes it pop.
We will go back

We enjoyed our meal as always. The service in particular was very professional and courteous, also as always. By my count we have eaten there at least 17 times in the last 2 years. In contrast to other establishments we frequent often where the staff greets and treats you as a familiar client who they want to have return, the Quality staffs acts as if they have never seen you before. I think it affects the way we order, especially wines. Where we know and trust the sommelier, we are willing to risk expensive wines that we are not familiar with, and which I never have felt comfortable doing at the Quality family. BTW their house wine is excellent - from vineyards in Bordeaux, and a good buy,

Perfect spot after a stroll in Central Park. The "outdoor " dining experience A+..Service perfect, Heat lamps nice. Was surprised how remarkable an experience it was during the Pandemic..Felt comfortable and everydish was pretty much outstanding..Need to get out more,especially to Quality Italian to try more dishes!

Nothing more can be said. It was a delicious dinner. Our server was delightful. We've been to the restaurant a number of times, and even in this unfortunate period of time, we loved being *inside* on this cold-ish night, and thankful for the pleasant faces.

Inside with giant garage door window open because was a rainy night. A little cold but only 3 tables so properly spaced. Food and drink are great. Prices are reasonable. All good.

Ordered my usual pasta with lobster and it was very salty and not quite the same.
Drinks were great and appetizers were delicious. Portions were a bit smaller.
Beautiful atmosphere, very spacious and clean.

We had the porterhouse for two. It took over an hour for us to get our entree from the time we ordered. The steak was barely seasoned and unevenly cooked for medium rare. The cut was also fairly gristled for a porterhouse somehow. We only came here because quality meats is closed for renovations—I would not recommend quality Italian for their steak. We had the sausage and pepper appetizer. That one took a half hour from ordering to show up and was tasty, but the entire experience was not up to par for the price point. Brussel sprout side texture was good but the sauce was very strong and wore on you the more you ate.
