Ironically, the quality of the steaks were not up to par. $57 for an 8 oz. filet that is extremely fatty and not tasty is ridiculous. The curly fries, monkey bread, and brussel sprouts were great, but the steak was not good and therefore won’t be coming back to Quality Eats.

Cute place for a weekend brunch with friends and family. The drinks were yummy! One of the drinks, the "french toast" was a bit plain. Also, I had to send my steak done because it was under cooked. Friends who got the braised ribs were REALLY happy with their choice. The grilled cheese was rather small and could have used a side or something else with it.

Came with a party of 8 and were seated outside, which was fine. While most of our food was very good (Corn Brulee--delicious!), a few of our party had to send steaks back for being cooked incorrectly (medium rare steaks ordered arrived well done), and when the new orders came, received steaks that were fatty and gristly. Really unacceptable from a restaurant with a pedigree like this one, not to mention the price of the steaks. Our server was fine and efficient, but not particularly helpful when questions were asked of her. All in all, not a terrible experience, but also not the high level we were anticipating. So, while I won't NOT recommend it, I can't give it an enthusiastic recommendation.

Experience was Average at best. I have not been to this restaurant in over 5 years and remember it being better. Seating was tight. Could not help but clearly hear the table conversation to the left AND to the right. Food came so quickly - within minutes of ordering - I questioned if it was even made to order. Steak was lukewarm and a bit tough. I don’t think I’ll be returning any time soon unfortunately.

This place is consistently delicious, with the most accommodating staff and equally good cocktails & food. Favorites include… wedge salad (best of any you’ve ever had because the quality of ingredients and spicy dressing) Burrata with tasty jam and grilled bread (that bread!…perfection) Lemon Skillet Chicken (moist and delicious…so flavorful) try any spritz (Hemingway or Easy Rider) to refresh on a hot day And that’s before we cover all the delicious sides (Orzo & the Brussels are sleeper hits) Plus as noted the staff should be celebrated as the very best every day — Damn I’m ready to go back!

Holiday weekend so I guess the B team was in charge. We had a good meal but the vibe was off. Loud children, burnt toast, unequal pours on our wine. We will go back because the steak is just so perfect. Next time we will stay away on a holiday.

What a disappointment! Service was spotty, the food was fair - I’m being kind. No one in our party of six thought the food was good or worth it. The special chicken sandwich had pickles or something indeterminate. Meals arrive sporadically and one meal was forgotten all together. It delayed everyone from starting so they are cold food until the weird chicken arrived. Sitting in a wooden shed is not recommended!

Caroline was one in a million. She was accommodating, very attentive, very helpful with drink suggestions and spot on. Paid careful attention to our special requests. Was very pleasant when we asked her to split our salads. Never seemed discontented, and overall made us feel like we were welcomed there, rather than an inconvenience like servers at so many other restaurants. The steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked, the sticky toffee cake is incredibly delicious. One of our favorite places. We try to hit this place at least once a month.

Our server was nice and friendly but dinner was just okay. The appetizer portions were extremely small for the price, the wine selection extremely limited, and there were a total of 2 options for dessert. IMO restaurant better suited for lunch than dinner.

Excellent service & ambience overall, & a solid menu. I had the chicken sandwich; for some reason, it included overly spicy cole slaw (made with jalapeño, apparently). Since when is cole slaw spicy? It literally burned when I bit into it, & should be served separately. Also, the music in the restroom was so loud, I almost had to wear earplugs. As with the jalapeño cole slaw, why is that necessary? Definite room for improvement.

Service was slow for the first time and the filet mignon we asked to slice came in much smaller than usual. not sure if some was discarded by mistake. overall first time we walked out disappointed in the service and food hence the 3 stars

Our first dining experience here but it won't be our last. We're sorry it took us so long to find this wonderful restaurant. In my opinion the food is the best we've eaten at any steak house anywhere. The hanger steak was so tender you could almost cut it with your fork. Our server was excellent as well. Clientele is upscale.

First time here since moving to the UES. Ambiance was good-energetic and the menu was great. We sat at the bar and the service was way too rushed and almost diner-like. Appetizer came out within 3 mins of ordering and entrees were out before we were done with appetizer and the fries were warm at best. We will probably give it another try because we like their other restaurants but they need some polish in my opinion

3 friends went for summer restaurant week at 6:30. As the evening went on, we could not hear each other talk. The wedge salad was the highlight of the meal. The chicken salad entree contained no chicken, the hanger steak was good, the fries were awful. The ice cream bday Sunday was tasteless. Our waitress was not welcoming. Will not return.

A friend reunion brunch. Great spot - something for everyone - meat eaters and vegans. Amazing selection of unique cocktails, of which we sampled several. Service was outstanding too.

Waitress/server provided a receipt for $100 and then charged a different bill for $117 to my card. Normally the staff is very attentive and good. This server clearly lacked attention to detail. Server also failed to offer my puppy water. I’ve had much better service here before so it was probably a one-off but still an interesting datapoint.

Casual place for Sunday brunch with a varied choice of dishes - something for everyone. My grilled cheese eggs Benedict was wonderful. And the cocktails were delicious. Waitstaff were excellent - very attentive even though the ding room was very busy. We didn’t feel rushed which was appreciated. Highly recommend.
