Celebrating my now fiancée and I’s proposal at brunch was exceptional. We went with 4 of our closest friends and had an excellent time thanks to the amazing food and fantastic service. Looking forward to returning soon!

The people and the service were great! The butter service was just ok. Our suggestions would be …1) don’t put the toppings on the butter (fresh churned butter speaks for itself), put butter toppings on the side, omitted the puréed eggplant all together, and add a sweet jam (eg tomato ). The chateaux Brianne was just ok, steak was nice, the sauce wasn’t much more than a brown gravy, needed something more? The wine selection for a French restaurant was very limited. The Faust was no where near worth $35 a glass. We would consider going back, but would consider different selections.

We’ve had good experiences at Quality Bistro in the past, so were extremely disappointed by this visit. We will not go back unless they make it possible to have a conversation without having to speak at the top of one’s lungs. The music was painfully loud. We were a party of three. We found it difficult to hear everything being said by the person adjacent to us, much less the two of us across the table from each other. My wife’s tenderloin was very good. My pork with quinoa was overcooked and only had a sprinkling of quinoa on top. I know restaurants like energetic music at a volume that encourages people to eat quickly and move along, but given QB’s prices, the execution in the kitchen should have been better and the experience in the dining room not uncomfortable and frustrating. Coincidentally, we walked by Quality Italian after dinner. Given how loud the music was walking by on the sidewalk, we clearly would have had the same problem there as well.

This bistro absolutely delivered—elegant yet relaxed, with food that impressed at every turn. We shared the salmon and steak, both cooked to perfection. The salmon was delicate and buttery, while the steak had a rich sear and melted in the mouth. Sides like the crisp asparagus, decadent mac and cheese, and golden fries were elevated classics. Dessert was the final triumph: the opera cake was refined and balanced, the salted gateau was rich without being heavy, and the chocolate mousse was pure indulgence. Service was polished but warm—just the right touch. A truly memorable meal.

The service was not great. The bartender told us he was too busy to serve us and that we should find a server in the bar area instead. Once we tracked someone down, they served our teen daughter an alcoholic beverage instead of the coke she ordered and never brought the water we requested along side our wine on this 100 degree day in NYC. Very disorganized and non coordinated at all service levels. Confused and disappointed with the service for such an expensive restaurant.

One of my favorite places. The food didn’t disappoint. We didn’t get the booth we requested but all else was amazing!

Very attentive service - they remembered that 2 of our diners had been there a few days prior and remembered their preferences. Food was outstanding especially the espresso/coffee aioli that accompanied the prosciutto appetizer. Must go restaurant.

We had an outstanding time for our first visit to Quality Bistro. we started with great drinks at the bar and then went to our table. Our server Mia was outstanding. We both had the French onion soup, which is probably the best we’ve ever had. We also split the crab cake as an appetizer, that was good, but I would probably skip it next time Both of us ended up ordering the steak frites but we asked them for the au poivre sauce which they prepared tableside. The steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were also probably the best I’ve ever had. We truly enjoyed our experience. I really wanted to try the butter service as a starter but it seems like an awful lot of food. the restaurant is beautiful. We were there on a Friday night. We also were going to a show and wanted to take the leftovers home but the theater wouldn’t let us bring it in so the restaurant kept it in the refrigerator until we were done and we went back and picked it up.This was recommended by our server Mia, who was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back.
