Thanksgiving Dinner Special Menus & Offers
Quality Bistro is offering the best Thanksgiving dinner in New York City
We had a delicious lunch outside in their lovely tent. I had a fantastic steak salad and my friend had a Nicoise. We started with the tarte flambé and of course, had some fries to share!
We wanted to give Quality brand restaurants a second try. We made a reservation at Quality Bistro. They sat us inside, quite close to another table, despite need for social distancing (it did not help that the person sitting at that table was coughing). Maybe that was 25% capacity for them, I would hate to see what full capacity loos like over there. The server was relatively friendly but super busy. The service was particularly poor, long waits for everything: drinks, plates for sharing, bread, hand sanitizer, water. The tomahawk steak we ordered came slathered with blue cheese sauce. I don't remember if it was featured on the menu, but it ruined the steak for us. After scraping it off, the steak was pretty nice. The bill came padded with an additional item we did not order. Luckily we checked it. It got removed, but it was suspicious, I have to say. There are so many good restaurants in New York, there is no need to blow a lot of money on a restaurant with below-average food and service and too-close inside seating during a pandemic.
Best meal I've eaten at a restaurant since Covid-19 hit the city. The bench onion soup shouldn't be missed, the oysters were fresh and delicious, the lobster toast very memorable and the double dip in the dessert section was great (pot de creme and the best deconstructed apple tartine I've had in a loooong time. Still eating outside so the set up was nice with ample space between tables but sooo ready to feel comfortable going back to eating in a proper restaurant setting. GREAT MEAL. we will definitely be back!
Excellent service and meal! Ambiance is top notch and indoor dining was socially distanced and safe. Will be back again soon!
Great food & service!
Tried the on-tap cocktails (spritzes) and a few apps. All delicious. The menu isn't that veg-friendly (besides salads). For a French place, where's the fromage? Service was great. We ate outside, b/c duh CoVid, but had expected heaters and there weren't any, so we were glad we'd brought jackets/wraps.
Great food and great service, all at a reasonable cost.
Food and cocktails were excellent, service was a little slow but waitress and waiter were extremely nice.
What an incredible find! Great food wine and ambiance. Cant wait to have the opportunity to go back.
Delicious food, excellent service
Amazing dinner. We sat outside and had a great time. The inside is beautiful too. Pricey meal.
Horribly overpriced. But good.
Amazing as always. Staff is extremely nice and attentive. I can’t stop eating the delicious fries!
Thank you for the compliments on the food and staff. We hope to see you soon again. We are happy to be back and serving our guests.
So glad they have opened. Will go back soon soon.
Hi Judy, We are happy to be back and serving all of our guest. Hope to see you next time.
For “local” outdoor dining, QB has the most ideal space, set far back from the street and sidewalk, there are no cars or pedestrians and feels like patio dining. On my second visit, they did not have the umbrellas out, which makes it more cozy. These days, it’s about the experience of being outside. Menu is limited, but I prefer fewer choices without skimping. The portions here are more than I can consume. Try the outstanding burger and fries. Service is welcoming and accommodating.
Hi JR47, Our umbrellas are back. We had a few very windy days and we did want to make sure we have enough weight on them so they do not fly across. We added few more items and making our way back to out full menu. Hope to see you soon.
Good vibe and food
Absolutely loved this gem of the Quality-branded family of restaurants! While eating at Quality Italian the evening before, a QI staffer asked if we had heard of Quality Bistro. We had a great experience at Bistro: terrific cocktails, attentive (but totally safe) service, and amazing food! Cannot wait to return!
Happy to back in the dining world. Food and service were outstanding.
Food was generally excellent, but menu or waiter did not indicate nuts topped on a particular dessert. My friend had a mild nut allergy, so he needed to scrape the nuts off.
The wait staff were very attentive and lovely. Noise was out of their control as it was outdoor seating due to restrictions. The food was a bit disappointing. The branzino was very salty for my taste, and the steak were not cooked as ordered for my friends. Location was very convenient.
One of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
First time, very enjoyable. Look foward to indoor dining here
Amazing cocktails and food here! Love the Spritz and the french fries are like none other. Always polite and accommodating service.
An overall wonderful dining experience. Both food and service were amazing!!
Excited to create events at this beautiful venue with excellent food and service
Not impressed with Quality Bistro. From lackluster service to food served at poor temperatures, this was an unimpressive meal. You'd think that with numerous cancellations by travelers due to the current health situation, management would have been appreciative of our patronage, but they weren't. Not once did anyone come over to ask about our visit and/or service, yet they did so with other tables. Had they stopped by, they would have found out that my escargot were room temperature, at best, and even my husband's French onion soup wasn't all that hot. Both of these dishes should come out at hot temperatures, for ultimate enjoyment, yet that just wasn't the case. The Caesar salad is such a large portion, it's really meant for at least 2 people, so we decide to share. After this point in our meal, we waited 30 minutes for our entree - which is really an unacceptable amount of time and the restaurant wasn't all that packed. We had to ask our water attendant for a status on our meal, as neither our waitress nor a manager seemed to care. I will say that the Steak Frites was very tasty and cooked to order, which was the best part of our meal. Apparently a manager heard that I asked out our entree, so a Profiterole dessert was sent over. This was also very tasty, but it would have meant a lot more if a manager had just stopped by and said something - a nice, "thanks for visiting, we apologize for the delay and hope you enjoyed your meal". It doesn't take much, but I guess the 3 managers that we saw visiting with other tables just didn't see the need. With so many choices in the city for spending your money, I'd recommend other places over Quality Bistro.
Very large, well appointed, very busy bistro-styled steakhouse ( plus a bunch of other stuff as well). Good vibe but very, very lively! Snag a table on the upper tier, its a bit calmer. Outstanding cauliflower carpaccio app, very good steak mains, good but not great fries, excellent roast crispy broccoli side. Big, well curated wine list, but pretty pricy. Some less than $100 bottles. Very good, attentive, professional service. Pricing is decent for midtown.
Wonderful service! Very attentive and polite. Definitely going back.
QB was a treat for our wedding anniversary dinner. The staff was exceptional, the ambiance was elegant, really nicely done. We loved the Seafood Tower and our steak entrees were perfectly prepared. The side dishes, especially the creme brulee corn were delicious. For a very new entree into the mid- town market this gem is firing on all cylinders. We'll definitely be back
It was my birthday and everything from start to finish was timed well and delicious! The chocolate, pistachio, vanilla crepe brûlée is amazing!!! The ambiance is great and the place beautiful! My new favorite restaurant!
Great service, ambience and delicious food! Will recommend and come back as well!
Service is great. Food is not. Steaks lacked flavor.
It is also misleading to label this restaurant as Bistro or as moderately priced. It is an expensive restaurant and it should not have 2 $ next to it.
The ironically named Quality Bistro is at the moment an absolute disaster, mostly due to the utterly incompetent service. A few examples. Upon arrival in time at 5:15, we were given the worst table in a nearly empty restaurant, right outside the kitchen door. After relocating, we informed the server that one of our diners needed to leave at 6:15. We ordered promptly, including some beef tartare for our early-departing diner. We ordered a glass of sparkling wine and a glass of grenache blanc, a white wine. The tableside pour of the sparkler was about 1/4 inch. I complained and a smidge more was added. Then my grenache came, except it was a red. When the server returned with the right white, she poured more than twice the amount that was in our glass of sparkling. At 6 pm, we finally received our raw oysters. The server didn’t know which was which, so someone else was summoned, and we learned they’d gotten the order wrong. We also received “the tartare,” which our early departing diner consumed. Except, as he was leaving at 6:15, his beef tartare arrived, along with another order of the tuna. He’d originally been served my tuna tartare, not his beef. We were assured the now-unneeded dishes would be removed from our bill. They were not until we complained. There’s more, but you get the idea. And no one was apologetic about the mistakes or the glacial food delivery. Instead we got attitude and a few accusations that we’d misordered. Except we’re all industry veterans and didn’t. To be fair, two of the dishes were ok, and the $54 filet, while a tad overcooked, was reportedly tasty. And it’s a pretty room. But this was a train wreck of a meal, and despite the eventual if incomplete bill corrections, was still expensive (nearly $200 including the penny tip). And for a restaurant that needs to service pre-theater diners, it’s entirely unable to get ‘er done. There are other restaurants nearby. All of them would be a better choice than the laughably titled Quality Bistro.
Everything they serve here is outstanding! Not to be missed!
bread service is a must. beautiful restaurant. great service. delicious food. we loved it. Moroccan chicken is fantastic!
Great food and ambiance but kept waiting for our table for 45 min without any explanation. Ran out of chateaubriand at 8.30 and service was slow. They did apologize, think was an off night, will def go back..
Excellent service. Great food. Great ambience. Large space. Will be a regular place for me to go to for drinks and/or dinner.
Great service and a wonderful experience.
