MICHELIN Green Star | Bib Gourmand | At Pythouse Kitchen Garden, you'll find an idyllic atmosphere in which to enjoy fantastic food. We offer covered outdoor seating in our glorious garden and indoor seating in the conservatory and potting shed. Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a lunchtime destination only at present.

Head chef Darren Broom's passion lies in producing food with an unmistakable sense of terroir. For Darren, provenance is not just the backstory to his ingredients, it’s everywhere in the look, feel and taste of his food.

We are keen to champion our own produce first and foremost, providing guests with a unique and ever-changing insight into the seasons. We work closely with the garden team to manage and maintain the garden and to deliver a programme of regeneration and sustainability.

Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a private party paradise. You can lose yourself in magical nature and feast on its treasures as they grow around you. The fruit and vegetables are grown solely for you and your guests and harvested on the day of your celebration. The abundant flowers, specimen trees and 18th Century architecture form a heavenly backdrop. Parties at PKG are invariably colourful, chic and fun. From unique seasonal weddings with a homegrown twist, to glamorous, formal sit-down dinners, the walled garden provides for all.

We are delighted to offer you a menu that’s perfectly suited to the season. We source seasonal, low-impact produce from our own garden and like-minded local growers, stalkers and farmers. Our grazing and vegetable plates can be ordered together for a light sharing-style lunch. Our larger plates are designed to be accompanied by one or two grazing or vegetable plates.

Went yesterday lunchtime with a couple of friends , we were all amazed at what a wonderful setting.Food , service and surroundings were fantastic. We will definitely return and recommend , having all lived in the area for many years can’t believe we haven’t been before. Well done.

As always, we had a great experience having lunch at PKG. The service was very friendly and efficient, the food tasty and fresh. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable, perfect for lunch with a friend. Laura and her team do a wonderful job. I would highly recommend PKG to everyone.

Delicious Sunday roast - perfectly cooked pink beef and delicious chicken with a lovely variety of vegetables to accompany it. GF well catered for, Yorkshire puddings were perfect. Interesting selection of cocktails. Beautiful setting and very attentive service. Can’t wait to return

It was a delicious fresh seasonal menu - every course was excellent, especially the puddings. And the service was fantastic. Will definitely be back - very soon.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. A member staff welcomed us at the door. The food and service was exemplary. We shall return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch especially the lamb & wild garlic sausages & the venison. Beetroot side was delicious. Pudding, a pear with caramel flavoured custard was sensational. Atmosphere, relaxed and friendly but at the same time you know you are dining somewhere special.

I love this place. Such an idyllic setting. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely fab as it always is, we had the set menu. Pronounced delightful by our whole party. Honestly one of the best places to eat in Wiltshire. 10/10.
