We had the Wild Mushroom Gnudi that was to die for. An amazing roast beef po boy and a bbq pork sandwich. Just about everything here is hand made by the chefs, including chips and pickles, and was worth every penny.

The food was good, our waiter was good, I just do not love the ambience. I hate to see TVs in a restaurant at that price point.

I booked a dinner for two about a week and a half in advance. When we arrived, we were seated at a table that was patio furniture pulled from outside and placed in an area where there was room. The couple seated next to us told us they had requested to be moved from the table we were seated at because it was uncomfortable and kind of awkward being in the walkway for the serving staff. When we requested to be moved, we were informed all the tables were booked up, even though when we arrived most of the tables were empty.

We chose to stay and ordered food, which was good. I had the filet and added some cauliflower and my wife had the swordfish and added some rosti. We also had some drinks and dessert. We recommend the smoked honey drink. When we finished some of the tables were still empty and we were both pretty annoyed with that considering our bill was about $175 after the tip. This is the second time we've been here and we like the food but the first time the service was slow and this time we got relegated to patio furniture.

Maybe if you sit at the bar or if it's not busy it'll be good, but it will likely be awhile again before we give them another shot especially considering the price point.

From the Hostess, to the wait staff, and the owner... everyone was hospitable and the food was AMAZING!!! We had one small issue that they recovered immediately. The way one handles an issue speaks volumes and they went above and beyond. We will be regulars at our new favorite gem!

Fun place with good food and interesting menu! Definitely not the place for an intimate dinner for two, but nice for a group of friends.

Excellent food and service. The brisket was phenomenal and the crispy Brussel Sprouts were outstanding ( and I am normally not a fan of Brussel Sprouts!)

Brussel sprouts app was great, as was the brisket entree and cheesy grits side. Service was quick. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

First time at the restaurant and very happy that we went. The food was hoped it would be (delicious). Our waitress was extremely pleasant and knew what the menu was regarding questions. We will go back.

I had the brunch chicken and waffles. Reading the description I was torn because it wasn't chicken and waffles the way I expected them. Almost took the safe option an ordered the burger. So glad I chose to go with something a little different. Only two entress on our table, and both were variations on known comfort food, and both were amazing.

2nd time here. Service still not up to par, slow, clunky. Food below average. Greasy. Heavy. Salty.

The service was excellent and the food was wonderful! My only complaint is the beef brisket entree needed something to go with it. Maybe a little sauce on the side or dinner roll. It was delicious but lacked something to accompany it. (The fried pimento and beet salad was outstanding!)

My husband and I decided last minute to go to dinner on New Year’s Eve. All of our favorite restaurants were booked so we decided to try a new place. I looked at Pyre Provision’s menu on Open Table and it looked like we’d enjoy the food. It said nothing about a Pre Fix menu. I’m aware most fine dining places do this, but prefer to know ahead of going.
When we get there the place is almost empty of patrons. We we told there is a pre fix menu( ok that’s fine) and we are seated. The menu was $90 per person. Choices were very limited, but we still decided to give it a shot. While we sat there we watched people sit and after viewing the menu, get up and leave. We should have done the same.
The food was good. However, there is no way it commanded the price of $90 each. Alcohol was not included and I was shocked to see them carefully measure out 4 oz pours and 6 oz pours of wine. In all of my travels and all the fine restaurants in Nola I’ve dined in, I have never seen this. Only in chain restaurants.
Disappointed doesn’t even touch how we feel. Ripped off is much more accurate.
Our server was wonderful, but we will never return and absolutely NEVER recommend Pyre Provisions.

The brunch is really great! My only criticism is that my poached eggs could have been poached a bit longer, but that is a personal preference and nothing against the food itself.

We have been here a few times and the food and service have been great. It is a great addition to our area. Many dishes are a new twist to traditional items.

We went for a girls Christmas dinner. I had reservations. Service started off great. Got our drinks and appetizers Fast. Then the server fell off the face of the earth. We sat for about 30 minutes with empty drinks and empty plates. We ended up getting out bill and going somewhere else.
We were afraid to order anything else to just sit and not get attended too. Had potential but not sure if I will go back.

I was excited to try Pyre because I heard it was very good. The brussel sprout appetizer was very good, however, I was disappointed with the daily special - pork loin. The pork loin was bland and not seasoned well. Overall, I found the food to be good but not great. I'll try again and give it a second chance, but I though the food was overpriced.

This restaurant was advertised as open on OpenTable. Reservations made, and a special night planned. Day of, reminder notification sent to me among with current drive times. After all of that what do you think happened? Arrived 10 mins prior to our Thanksgiving Dinner Reservation only to find an empty parking lot and a CLOSED restaurant. Not sure what the issue was but a very disappointing situation.
