The restaurant is closed!!!! Take it off Open Table
We had a 6 p.m. reservation AND we were using a 2000 point award. BUT THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED (despite having been reconfirmed)
We made a reservation and when we got there they were closed. Looks like out of business. A shame, because we were really looking forward to going back. We loved them when they were on 56/9. They shouldn’t take reservations if they’re out of business
I had hoped for more
We had a great dinner at Puttanesca a few weeks ago, so we decided to go back for a second time. The staff and service was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the kitchen was a bit off this time. The medium rare filet minion that my husband had ordered was border-line medium well. My salmon was well prepared but the fish around the skin tasted old and smelled like it had sat in the fridge way beyond its expiration date. We didn't want to cause a fuss or interrupt our dinners by sending it back so we ate what we could. I'm certain that the staff would have accommodated us if we had. Next time we go out for steaks or seafood we'll be certain to choose another option.
Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken piccata. Congenial and attentive service.
Just opened in the neighborhood and wanted to try it out so when some out of town relatives came for a visit we decided it was the perfect opportunity to try it out. Reasonably priced and great appetizers and entrees. The lobster, avocado and cucumber dish was awesome as was the pasta dishes ordered and desserts.
A good neighborhood option with absolutely-fine-to-good food and a decent wine list, all reasonably priced and presented by attentive staff.
Horrible service. Calamari wasn’t great. Waiter didn’t come to ask for mains for 30 mins. My friend is vegan and asked for if he could just get penne in olive oil. The waiter said “no” and looked to the next person at the table. Everyone was in shock, no explanation just no. I understand some chefs don’t like to change their menu but that was ridiculous. We just took the check and left.
Great spot, glad we found it. Perfect regular go to
The new menu is phenomenal
Amazing experience. The staff was awesome, the food amazing, and Chef David made the entire meal memorable. Definitely try the rib-eye for two -- so good and expertly prepared. Can't wait to go back again.
A wonderful neighborhood gem. The menu is exceptional and the service staff well informed and friendly
We have Fritto Misto, Caesar salad to start. Both done nicely and large portion for appetizers! We then have Penne alla Puttanesca and Linquine alla Vongole for entree. Flavorful and al dente pasta - the Puttanesca sauce was a bit salty for me but it was just me and I still like it very much. The meal was so good that we can't stop here so we got the cannoli . The espresso was very Italian, so strong that you do need some sugar to take it down. Love it! The service was great too. Definitely coming back to this place.
My son and I enjoyed the most delightful meal this evening at Puttanesca. We couldn’t have been more pleased!
We started with the Waygu beef carpaccio and the flavors were out of this world. My son loved his Pasta Bolognese served over a perfectly al dente pappardelle. I had the grilled Spanish octopus that tasted as beautiful as it looked.
We enjoyed delicious wine and dessert. The service was personable and attentive from the moment we entered. We already talking about the next time we can dine at Puttanesca.
Jim was an amazing server and host! He really made sure our first dining experience in Puttanesca was good. He treated us to cannolis at the end of dinner. Thank you Jim and Puttanesca
