There are almost three hundred year’s of stories buried in our walls.
Once the host to visiting heads of state, sea admirals, noblemen, merchants and seafarers, the Purty Kitchen, Dun Laoghaire’s oldest surviving premises, is today continuing a rich tradition in the social history of the Dublin licensed trade. We look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant kitchen, bar and live event loft.

Fantastic food and service. Thanks a million. Loved the pork dish but fish pie only had one type of fish in it.

Expected more from this place, based on some of the reviews we had read. Lovely burrata starter, burger and chips main was very light touch on the chips, fish pie was very disappointing, servers seemed very inexperienced, got the order for drinks wrong twice. On the upside, the gig we were attending was great!

As always a really great experience in the Purty! Some great value to be had in a lovely setting but as with everywhere in the world food prices have risen sharply, but the welcome and service is very good - ad is the standard of food they serve!

What a lovely experience, I can highly recommend a midweek meal at the Purty Kitchen, we had a superb time last night, the staff were great and the food was simply superb. We had the added surprise of a wine special that made some fabulous wines very affordable with the half price offer. The place looks great, the staff are knowledgeable and attentive and the food was just fabulous, we were a table of 5 that ordered may different dishes and all were top notch. Its obvious that the customer is valued. It was our first time there in a few years and we are already planning a return visit. As you would expect in a costal restaurant the sea food was fresh and there was many different menu options including specials. While a range of Steak, Burger and other options were also very tempting. Definately give this one a try!!!!!!!

The staff are excellent and very efficient, the food was served very quickly after we ordered and was cooked to perfection. Very good value for money and would recommend to anyone.

Sat out the back with the sunroof and was lovely. Prawns and calamari to start and steaks for mains. Great buzz and food was delicious. Highly recommend.
