What a treasure Purlieu is. Our foursome all enjoyed our meals. Two were very pleased with the Cod which was an offering not on the menu. They declared it to be the best cod they’d ever had. The pork tenderloin, another specialty not on the menu, was delicious, as well. Our Steak Frites fan was not disappointed either. The Calamari enjoyed at the beginning of our meal was so light and tasty. We finished with the Crème Brûlée. Wonderful! We look forward to our next visit.

Purlieu continues to be one of the best gems of SW Calgary. This place has been a go-to for us for the past four years or so, since they opened. We go for special events (this time an anniversary) with friends and family from out of town and even have a few chances to stop by for a gourmet dinner when we're back from the slopes during the winter ski season. Always greeting, welcoming and on point with seasonal dishes and long term mainstays - Purlie delivers wonderful experiences and great food.

We are lucky to have this great French restaurant in Calgary. We went today to celebrate Mother's Day. My husband had the calamari and I had the scallops as a starter. We both had the lobster spaghetti, and shared the creme brulee for dessert with americanos. It was a truly special meal.
