   Was not impressed with the quiltiy of food or service. Was advertised prime rib night but this was definitely not prime rib,it was more like beef skirt. When I ask where was the priority I was told this was it. The main reason we went there. Had to get someone from kitchen to come out & cook it on the griddle. Did not offer a variety of anything else. Had to make reservation at 8:00 PM but got there at 7:30 & no one was even in restaurant.

   This is just a buffet with very limited choices to begin with. They take reservations but for the entire week I have been there, I could not find more then just 3 or 4 tables being taken. The restaurant looks mostly deserted and the service is slow. I typically noticed only a couple of persons servicing all the tables. If you order hot tea or drink, you might be able to finish most of your meal before you will get it. The place looks attractive on the photos but that is about it.

   We had a lovely dinner !! Rihanna was amazing ( sorry if I spelt her name incorrectly ) food was great , drinks were fun ! Will be back before we leave

   The breakfast buffet looked very appealing, but the waffles, pancake, and French toast did not taste good. They seemed like they were sitting there in the steam, so became tough and were not tasty at all. They had small smoothie jars that were extremely sweet. I had to add water twice to drink it. The omelette was the best part. The customer service was very good.

   We attended the Asian Night event, but the food was too salty, which isn’t ideal for people with hypertension. Because of this, I didn’t enjoy the meal. Hopefully, others had a better experience than I did.

   We were staying at Little Divi Bay Resort in St. Maarten and PureOcean is part of the all inclusive package. We ate there on a Monday night, which is Caribbean night. Not my favorite type of food so I'm biased, sorry. I really had very little to choose from that I enjoyed, especially because I'm not a big fish or meat eater. However my two travel companions did enjoy their food very much, and they especially thought the fish soup was wonderful. We ate late, 8pm, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Not much salad left, which was pretty much all I wanted from what was on the buffet, so that was disappointing for me. Would have been nice if there was some fruit to go along with the very nice desserts they laid out. I don't really like a buffet like this for dinner. It's too bad they have switched from a menu to buffet at Pure Ocean for dinners. If I ever go back, I would go to a different restaurant on the property for dinner.

   The buffet had lots of selection and the food was good. Since it was a buffet you can expect that cooked foods may not be as crisp as when hitting your table directly from the kitchen but everything was very tasty. They also had a good series of salad and desert options.

   Turns out it was an overpriced buffet. Not a lot of choice. Soggy. The food had been sitting around quite awhile. Steak was good and cooked on the spot. Service was poor. Desserts just ok.
