Established in 1995, Punch Lane is a Melbourne dining icon and a pioneer amongst its laneway counterparts.
Punch Lane is a cosy and inclusive Wine Bar and restaurant, which prides itself on serving delicious food from a seasonal menu, mouth-watering cheeses from an eclectic selection, matched with exceptional wine and service.
Our kitchen team, headed up by Nuno Gabriel, have created a seasonal menu showcasing local produce. We are currently offering a 2 hour dinner sitting for all early reservations prior to 7pm in our dining space with drinks and bar snacks available from 3pm - 5pm Tuesday to Sunday. Dinner service commences at 5pm Tuesday - Sunday. Lunch from 12pm - 3pm, Tuesday - Friday.
Please note Sunday surcharge of 10% and Public holiday surcharge of 15%

We ordered a set menu and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The wine suggestions to go with the meal were also perfect. As we were rushed to get to the theatre we only had an hour to eat but once they realised we weren’t able to have our dessert due to time restrictions they suggested we come back after the show. It worked out perfectly and we had the most beautiful panna cotta afterwards. Highly recommended

I had the Porcini mushroom gnocchi, could not taste any Porcini at all. The rest as very good.

Consistently great quality food and always interesting selection of wines. Darcy and the entire wait staff and kitchen crew are so consistently awesome! Punch Lane Wine Bar is a quintessentially Melbourne dining experience!

We had a fantastic meal with cocktails and wine at Punch Lane. Francesco was very attentive and helpful in selecting the best items on the menu to match our appetite. This is our second time to eat here and it was even better this time.

The food coming out of a small kitchen is amazing. Wines and drinks excellent. Staff were helpful, fun and gave thoughtful suggestions.

This gem of a restaurant has the perfect blend of ambience, great service and importantly great food and wine. Nick our host was incredibly welcoming and engaging throughout the evening. The menu selections were enticing and importantly delivered what was promised. I will be back.
