Ordered the cubano sandwich, came out look warm, dry, without sauce. Only ate half as sandwich wasn’t very good. The south broadway location has the same sandwich but tastes much better!
It was good but were seated at the very front so we didn’t really get the ambiance.
Food was very good, but not as visually exciting as the google image search suggests. Service was pretty poor from the minute we walked in. The hostess was rude to us about making a reservation when it wasn't busy, and then our server was equally as rude and appeared to have zero serving experience. He left all of our bar drinks at the bar multiple times and I almost went up and grabbed them the last time. We asked for any menu suggestions and he had none. They did not have grapefruit or orange juice at brunch. There were only about 3-4 groups eating brunch and we waited 2 hours to try to bowl, but were never able to get a lane. I think the concept of the restaurant is fantastic and I would be excited to try another restaurant, but this location just was not very inviting and was not anything close to fun or entertaining as we expected.
We arrived and we're quickly seated, after some time a waiter finally came to us, appologized for taking so long as there was confusion on who had the table, he seemed annoyed to take us. We we're sitting next to the bar, where several staff members were talking to some women, every other word was loud swearing so it was a turn off to have staff be tight next to kids without a care in the world in regards to their vocabulary. Our server was initially decent, but never refilled drinks the entire time, my husband's meal came out wrong it was chicken instead of a burger, my impossible burger was made wrong, kitchen caught it and I was left with a burnt now soggy burger covered in tomato juice and seeds and the bottom of my burger had some of the onion jelly I requested to please not have, they slapped a piece of lettuce to cover it. I ate my burger without complaint even though it was obvious they didn't care to fix their mistake but gave over half to my daughter and ate maybe a quarter of it. Once food arrived our waiter literally did not come back at all. We ate, had my husband's burger finally come out, he ate finished and we proceeded to sit there for 20 minutes with at least 5 different staff members walking past us, nobody even noticed our now completed busted table and kids bored out of their minds. We had a sweet waitress stop and ask if we needed any service, she got the manager. As she was grabbing him our waiter ran up to us, you can tell he knew he forgot about us. The manager discounted the price of the burger, which I honestly felt like wasn't enough to be forgotten about completely. I tipped as the manager was standing over me, but he didn't deserve a penny of it. I highly doubt we will return
The 5 and 8 year old loved the burger and fries, as well as the outdoor space and video games. Not great on vegetarian options.
Had an Impromptu Birthday celebration that started as s small group and blossomed in to a large Party. Servers were extremely accommodating and moved us to a larger table and kept all our guest close by. Servers were courteous and understanding. Party was a hit.
I had the chicken and waffles and they were really good. Service was a bit melancholy but that could be because of a lot of factors. Our server was nice, just lacked some energy. I would come back again and look forward to it!
Great place for a group to get together. Bowling was really fun. I had higher expectations for the food but it was certainly above average.
We had a good company outing there. The bartenders serving the tables were a little slow. Drinks were taking so long that people were going up to the bar inside to get drinks, this was all why we were waiting on drinks. It should never take 10 minutes for a drink or beer to get to a table. It lost punch bowl money
I had my parents, in-laws and family friends in town; we had a wonderful dinner experience. Our server Jayden was awesome! He was friendly, informative, attentive and even recommended a craft cocktail for my mother in law to try (she ordered a Moscow Mule, he recommended a Pimm's Cup and she loved it!). All other employee interactions were great too. I bring my family and friends to Punch Bowl Social because I can always count on amazing food, service and ambiance. Thank-you!!!
Just another average hipster food joint, omfg gf chicken is not omfg good though.
Our server didn’t smile once and made us feel rushed to leave. Honestly is seemed very rude.
Such a fun place! Went for brunch/lunch. I had an adult milkshake at the bar before sitting down with family (ages 4-60 years). So delicious!
I did feel a little funny when the bartender seemed annoyed after I told her that we had a reservation and weren’t going to eat at the bar. Having been a bartender in that situation, I didn’t appreciate the noticeable difference in attitude, but our table server was excellent.
The food was fantastic! Good selection on the menu.
Reserved with OpenTable and let them know ahead of time that we had 2 kids with us. They sat us near the games and gave us kids menus/cups ahead of time. It was perfect!
First one was that the kitchen lost our ticket. Oh well! The staff handled it exactly how I would have and we left with a good feeling.
Second was that they ran out of monkey bread French toast! So sad! Guess we’ll have to go back :)
Overall: great experience. Would love to come back with friends and play games!
Did a Denver Dads Group meetup. Lots of space. Variety of food and drink. Plus games! Good for the whole family.
The food quality seems to be changing. At this 2nd time, same dishes were cold, lacked flavor.
Very accommodating for our group that grew from 8 to 12 at the last minute. Delicious food & nice atmosphere. The waitress kept forgetting requests for coffee, extra syrup & fries.
The lobster fries are definitely worth going for! The punch bowls are fun as well. Impossible burger was a let down but not bad! Service is okay, the gal was friendly, not super fast with our drink order but overall a good experience.
The other reviews were spot-on about the slower than slow service. Food was pretty good but the service was terrible - appetizers came same time as food. Only one drink was delivered at a time....
We had a reservation for 1:30 and were finally seated at 1:50. Service was very slow after that although the server was very nice. I think she was covering far too many tables.
So disappointing. We came here to celebrate Father's Day lunch and were seated upstairs, which was fine. We were surrounded by a couple of occupied tables and a multitude of empty unbussed tables (at least 6). It was not the atmosphere we wanted. We went back to the hostess to be seated downstairs hoping the view would be better. Not by much, still quite a few unbussed tables. We waited at least 10 minutes before a waitress breezed by to say she would be right with us, 20 minutes before getting water and you could guess the rest. It took almost 1 1/2 hours to eat lunch when the restaurant didn't seem busy. The food was delicious but it is hard to overlook the other problems. There are lots of other great places for food in Denver.
Took my dad there to celebrate Father’s Day & we had a blast
Horrible brunch experience. I have no issues with team service, but you have to have a presence in the very least. Continually waited for server to show up. Never proactively worked with us.
We went there for a fun place to go for my twins' 20th birthday. Afternoon sun was terrible and no blinds on the windows. Half of our table had to wear sunglasses and try to hide, or everyone was trying to sit on one side of the table. (Very frustrating when there were 2 other big table open that sat perpendicular to the sun.) Games were run down, worn, dart boards did not have but 2 darts for 3 boards. The only game we could really play was connect 4. Waitress left during the meal and someone else had to take over for her. We waited over 30 minutes after eating just to pay. We later saw her as we were leaving. We made a reservation 3 weeks ahead of time and were looking forward to lingering and playing a while. It could have been much better considering the cool location.
We went for our 10th anniversary for something different. We enjoyed ourselves.
We were pleasantly surprised how good everything was, we were the only people dining that early for Sunday brunch so the noise level was quiet, but it also gave us time to move around with our little ones when no one was there. The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meal and they were very accommodating for our 2.5 YO and 1 YO.
We’ve frequented the Punch Bowl on Broadway and have had good experiences. Yet, the visit to this location was disappointing on all levels. It took over 15 minutes for the server to ask what we wanted to drink after being sat down. Then she seldom checked in with us. Her approach seemed as if she did not care at all. The food portions were small, a couple of the orders came out incomplete and quite frankly the food lacked flavor. Because we’d had a different experience in the pass this was highly disappointing.
The patio is nice but service is stretched thin. Food is good, but you really go for the games. Menu could have more small shareables for big groups that want more variety than the platters offer
Fun place with good food. I had the brats which were tasty. Friends loved the hot dogs. Nachos were more chips than goodies. Loved the beer selection especially the gluten free option.
Bowling was fun but the pins were often set askew.
We reserved a large table for a birthday. We were on the second level facing west. Beautiful view but the sun was shining very brightly and there were no window shades available. We ended up having to all sit on one side of the table. Also there was a large party taking up the bowling area and they weren’t bowling, which was frustrating since we put our names down at 5 pm and there were no lanes available until after 8:30. It also made it difficult to navigate to the restrooms with so many people with drink in hand in the walkway.
Great Mother’s Day brunch! As a mom, I felt celebrated and my kiddo loved playing in the arcade during brunch.
So great! Staff was very accommodating when we asked to move from high top bar stools to a booth since we had two kids 6 & 3.
Brought some friends who were in town for a couple hours on a layover at DIA. Food was great, service was good, ambiance was fun. It was the perfect place to get a late night dinner.
This place was off the chain good I will be going back when I’m in Denver it’s the old Stapleton control tower and at night it’s lite up.
Amazing food and drinks! Super fun atmosphere, excellent staff, and all around great experience. Highly recommend!
PBS is fantastic! Highly recommend! The food is great and the ambiance is wonderful.
It was a nice place to go for an everyday meal. Perfect place to meet friends out for drinks and games. And, fun for the kids. Food wasn't that special, but it was good. No complaints!
The service was very slow and our waitress was forgetful and messed up the change at the end but the overall atmosphere was so fun! Overall enjoyable experience.
Food ok....great place for drinks and social time
Was seated with not enough plates or silverware. It was a reservation of 6. Only 3 plates on table.
We went specifically for the Impossible Burger. It was worth all the hype and more. A great meal for a vegetarian as there is no meat in the burger. Could possibly be altered for Vegan, I'm not sure, but it is damn tasty nonetheless! They also have fries with lobster and bacon, these are to die for!
