The staff was great, food was perfect. Great place for family and/or friends
The place is fantastic for families or groups with bowling lanes and games. The best place about this particular place is the people. I have seen the manager the past few times and he is great and always helpful on top of great waitstaff and the person who hands out the bowling shoes! Our kids love it.
Horrible experience, especially for Mother's Day. I checked in and my party was taken to a small high-top table. I asked for a lower table and was told that the other tables were for "reserved guests". I responded that I had a reservation. The waitress double checked and moved us to a different table.
When making the reservation, it said there would be a mimosa bar for Mother's Day. I assumed this would be all-you-can-drink bar since it was a special event. It wasn't - you had to pay for each mimosa separately. First of all our waitress had no idea how the mimosa bar worked. Second, we were seated on the second floor and the mimosa bar was only on the main floor. We were told to just do down and get our drink. We got down there and then were told we had to order each drink from our server and then go down to the bar to fill the glass up. This was super inconvenient since my mom has a bad knee and the repetitive stairs were awful. Our waitress was completely clueless about everything and kept trying to sell multiple other items to us.
When we were leaving, we noticed that everyone else who had mimosas had larger glasses then we had gotten and there glasses were full. We were given a glass half the size and the drink was half the glass.
Horrible experience for a special day. Will not be returning.
The Punch Bowl has a great retro vibe and lots of activities. I wish it would have been a little nicer the day I went so I could have enjoyed them because they looked like a lot of fun
A very eclectic location - food, drink, games, indoor, outdoor, two floors of bowling.
Menu leaves a lot to be desired for those seeking healthier eating options.
At our table of 4, one dish arrived hot, one barely warm, the other two were okay.
What a fun location! Punch Bowl Stapleton has a great vibe, ample parking, fabulous food at reasonable prices and some really tasty drinks!
Great time spent eating, drinking, bowling, & other games! We will definitely be returning!
We had a great time! The food was great and so was most of the service. We had Josh for a waiter, he was quite but very nice. We asked for samples of the punch bowl to see which one we wanted to get and all three were horrible! For this being the name of the restaurant i expected much more from the fish bowls. Eric who was the activities directer was so friendly and helpful. We weren't able to get on a lane for bowling so he suggested many other things for us to do. By the time it a lane was ready we were having way to much fun with the board game Eric recommend so we passed on the bowling. They called last call so i went and grabbed one more round for the table. I ve worked at bars, you dont call last call right before you close. As soon as I sat down with our drinks a bouncer started yelling at us to chug our drinks and get out! I just paid $55 for 4 drinks to enjoy not to chug. It just put a damper on a great experience. Eric apologized and recommended a great bar to continue the fun at. My entire group really enjoyed it overall
Punch Bowl Social has a unique ambiance- casual, friendly, and interesting. The food and service is good. I will be back with friends.
Punch Bowl Social was a great place for a family birthday party lunch. After eating, the children and adults bowled. The children wanted to stay longer to play video games but we will just have to come back soon!
This was our first time at this location and we met for a work lunch. The food was fantastic and our server was attentive and knowledgable, but also gave us our space to conduct our business. Overall it was a great experience and this location is unique in all the best ways.
Punch Bowl Social Stapleton was an overall good experience. We stopped on the way to the airport from west Denver. Service was great. Unfortunately, they were out of a couple brunch items, so we didn’t get the full experience. We’ve been to Punch Bowl Social Broadway a bunch and love taking visitors for the food, games, service, and ambience!
This place is awesome for any type of dinner guests! Family fun or a date or drinks with friends- this place has it all! Amazing food, great service!
Food was decent. Ordered Hummus and that came with kettle-fried potato chips which was ok. Pork street tacos were also ok..hard to describe the flavor of the meat other than it tasted overdone just a bit. Service was very good and enjoyed the decor and the scenery. Would definitely go back and try something else on the menu!
None of the games were open due to multiple private parties. Made no attempt to do anything for my son’s Birthday.
Downstairs has a great diner atmosphere, where they'd set up my 12-top, but I was looking for more of a high-top bar experience for my graduation party. Thankfully since it was a Tuesday happy hour, it was easy to put a few tables together upstairs. The bartender and waitress were very accomodating. Food was great, and they had my favorite 1554 beer. Intended to play some games, but conversation trumped that. Was hoping for the giant Scrabble but it's not at the Stapleton location. Otherwise, great experience. Will definitely come back for a smaller get-together or date night, with the fireplace area upstairs w foosball and bowling. The downstairs area that can ve reserved with bowling lanes, dartboards, and shuffleboard would be great for larger party as well.
So we booked a table (because is was our wedding anniversary ) an wanted a nice spot to hang out. A Booth..but I had to change to a later time a few hrs later..I didnt get a notice that the booking on line didn't go threw or an red flag saying it was booked for that time..so when we showed up we had no reservations. .They did find a table but it was just a table not an nice booth to make the night special. .Sorry so sad..for us..
Service sucked and order of nachos took 45 minutes and come out incorrect. It was Sunday afternoon at 3 so place wasn't crowded at all. $12.00 to play ping pong was a bit much....
Most game areas reserved for private parties, it’s Christmas , but you should leave some open for the other diners. Bowling was overbooked, so when it was our turn , it wasn’t. Service was off this day. Food was decent.
Punch Bowl was a great experience. Although we were a little leary about some of the ingredients the food was very very good. It is a little expensive for what it is. We paid $45 for 2 for breakfast. Large portions. Sat by bowling alley and while it was energetic it was not overpowering. Very good brunch date.
Food was mediocre and under seasoned. I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but wasn’t too impressed this time around.
We went to celebrate my daughters acceptance to the cadet pilot program so the ambiance was perfect! I had been once before but the rest of the party had only been to the San Diego punch bowl. I love the ambiance and hope to visit all of the locations. The only thing I didn’t care for was that the restaurant was cold. It was a cold night and I kept my coat on most of the meal. I miss the chili rellanos on the menu. The Mac and cheese was delicious but I’m not 100% sold on the new menu.
Parking is a HUGE issue. Lot fills up quickly and parking in the neighborhood is tricky and could be a hike back to the restaurant. It was good to have the reservation as it was certain a busy Saturday night. We have been to the other location on Broadway, but this Stapleton layout is not quite as functional nor the ambiance quite as nice. Service was outstanding, however, the menu should have more in the way of burgers or other pub fare instead of duck confit stuff.
Birthday lunch with family. Asked server if they had anything special for the birthday as most restaurants offer a free dessert or similar. Our server replied "no" with no further explanation. Thought that was rather inconsiderate. The food was good, but pricey. I don't think I'll be back.
I like the one on Broadway; drinks are good and the food is decent as well. I expected to like this one as well. The problem is that the main spice in every dish is SALT with a capital "S." The dishes are creative and I think they would be flavorful (the mac n cheese and wings, in particular) but Epsom must do a huge business with them because everything just tastes like a salt shaker has been dumped on it.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in the last 5 years. The changed menu is terrible and they still have the old menu online. Even the host said she didn’t like the new menu. The service went from terrible to over serving when we complained we never got our drinks and our clueless server kept trying to take our order before he even brought us our drinks. The food was very disappointing. My kale sandwich was so over seasoned with garlic and I couldn’t eat it. Fries when I ordered onion rings, etc. auctioning food. No table maintenance and after the whole mess was almost over...it took forever, the clueless managers starting walking up to ask if everything was fine. Too little too late. They should have been aware and proactive. We didn’t bother by then to even discuss it opting to just get out of there. So many better places. Too bad as the physical space is great.
I have been here a total of 4 times. The first time (opening night) was incredible. However, each subsequent visit has been on a downward trend (food-wise) culminating in this last visit. The food was sub-par to mediocre, and I was still hungry after leaving. Coffee was not good, even though second cup was "just brewed". Service was not great either, unfortunately. It was slow and there were several mistakes made on the order.
Outside of it being VERY loud- the Rockies were playing-The food and service was great!! I would go back!
Went here with my family to celebrate the upcoming weekend and me visiting them from college. Very friendly staff, held the door open for us when we walked in and gave us multiple options on where to sit. The server was nice and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! The food was in big portions, so we shared among the family.
Nice vibe, but very very noisy. Appetizers at happy hour are a good deal, but a burger and side for an average diner will have you leaving hungry. Skip the fries and order the onion straws
It was very fun to get together have drinks and play games. Service was a bit slow, but it was very fun with family and friends
Great experience dining with fun games after the meal. Bowling, video games and the likes.
Loud, noisy restaurant with mediocre food. I'm so glad they preserved the old air control tower and tried to decorate accordingly, but it was a disappointment.
I enjoyed the food and drink setting overall but I had a couple of issues with it being a little steep on price and messed up my order when I ordered extra egg on my salad. We also waited forever for extra bread with our appatizer and our beverages. The adult beverages were also super small for the price . Otherwise I thought the arcade incorporation was fun and made our night relaxing enough to check out the whole place and hang around for a bit.
This a cool little spot. Its in the air control tower of the old Stapleton airport. Walked in and had a good feeling as it was a nice looking spot. Got seated right away, that should have been a sign as it was brunch and no line/wait. Waitress was there almost immediately and seemed mad we weren't ready to order. She then disappeared for a long while. Came back and took our orders. Took a very long time for drinks to arrive so much so we thought we forgot to order them. Not sure but think the table next to us left without ordering. Service was lacking the entire service and the food did not do anything to help recover from the lack of service. Sadly a nice spot suffers from ok food and bad service.
Ordered the cubano sandwich, came out look warm, dry, without sauce. Only ate half as sandwich wasn’t very good. The south broadway location has the same sandwich but tastes much better!
It was good but were seated at the very front so we didn’t really get the ambiance.
We went to Denver Social for brunch when we were visiting our son in Denver. I went on Open Table to see what was available for brunch, and this came up. I had no idea that it was known for their games (bowling, board games, outdoor games, etc. ) . Not only was the food fantastic, but we played games outside (ping pong, corn hole, jenga...) while waiting for our food. SO MUCH FUN!! Would love to go back when we visit again. Only wish they were on the East Coast!
Food was very good, but not as visually exciting as the google image search suggests. Service was pretty poor from the minute we walked in. The hostess was rude to us about making a reservation when it wasn't busy, and then our server was equally as rude and appeared to have zero serving experience. He left all of our bar drinks at the bar multiple times and I almost went up and grabbed them the last time. We asked for any menu suggestions and he had none. They did not have grapefruit or orange juice at brunch. There were only about 3-4 groups eating brunch and we waited 2 hours to try to bowl, but were never able to get a lane. I think the concept of the restaurant is fantastic and I would be excited to try another restaurant, but this location just was not very inviting and was not anything close to fun or entertaining as we expected.
We arrived and we're quickly seated, after some time a waiter finally came to us, appologized for taking so long as there was confusion on who had the table, he seemed annoyed to take us. We we're sitting next to the bar, where several staff members were talking to some women, every other word was loud swearing so it was a turn off to have staff be tight next to kids without a care in the world in regards to their vocabulary. Our server was initially decent, but never refilled drinks the entire time, my husband's meal came out wrong it was chicken instead of a burger, my impossible burger was made wrong, kitchen caught it and I was left with a burnt now soggy burger covered in tomato juice and seeds and the bottom of my burger had some of the onion jelly I requested to please not have, they slapped a piece of lettuce to cover it. I ate my burger without complaint even though it was obvious they didn't care to fix their mistake but gave over half to my daughter and ate maybe a quarter of it. Once food arrived our waiter literally did not come back at all. We ate, had my husband's burger finally come out, he ate finished and we proceeded to sit there for 20 minutes with at least 5 different staff members walking past us, nobody even noticed our now completed busted table and kids bored out of their minds. We had a sweet waitress stop and ask if we needed any service, she got the manager. As she was grabbing him our waiter ran up to us, you can tell he knew he forgot about us. The manager discounted the price of the burger, which I honestly felt like wasn't enough to be forgotten about completely. I tipped as the manager was standing over me, but he didn't deserve a penny of it. I highly doubt we will return
