The place is wonderful! Our server was great, but no one ever bussed our table. My husband finally cleared it.
We celebrated our grandson’s 7th birthday. He loved every minute!

We were celebrating my son's 23rd birthday. Started with appetizers, cocktails and dinner. All were very good. Items ordered were crab Rangoon, shrimp tacos, chicken and waffles, salad, watermelon cocktail and the banana cocktail with mezcal. We brought our own birthday cake and the servers brought out cutting utensil and plates for us. Very nice and accommodating. After dinner we went up and played a game of bowling. The bowling is a bit over priced and the lanes are not really smooth. It's not a real bowling alley with oiled lanes, it's more for fun and we did have plenty of that. :)

We had a great time at Punchbowl Social. I enjoyed the mushroom, biscuits, and gravy and the monkey bread. We shared a watermelon punch bowl and it was tasty. We also tried the bowling which was fun. They could easily accommodate our group of 6 as the place is huge and wasn't super busy on a Sunday. This is a place I love to bring big groups or visitors from out of town.

12:00 PM on a Thursday - plenty of space available, ample staff. Street parking so bring coins/credit card for a parking meter.

French Dip sandwich with rosemary fries, au jus and horseradish was ample, a little skimpy on the amount of meat for the size of the soft baguette but the taste was the bomb.

Chicken and waffles - yes, yes, yes! Two breaded chicken breasts that are very good sized, beautiful crispy on the outside/soft on the inside Belgian waffle with syrup already drizzled, and an extra bottle of syrup just in case. This is the best chicken and waffles that I've had in San Diego, and dine out on average of 4x/week.

Grab your sweetheart or your big group of friends. This place is so much fun. The perfect warehouse feel for a spacious bowling alley, darts area, board games, and so much more.

The center bar area has plenty of seating but is popular to sit at, so if you want a seat, get there early (recommendation based on my past visits to Punch Bowl Social).

The food and environment were awesome! The service needs some work though. Out server wasn’t really there when we needed something. But overall, it’s a must at least once.

Everything went great except it felt like it took a while to get the food out and they didn't seem super busy. The waiter we had was very nice and polite though. But one dish didn't come out with everything else and I felt like I finished half of my meal before she was even given hers. I would recommend going back though!

Punch Social Bowl is unique! Was finding a place that had a friendly bar-like and social activities environment to spend my best friend's birthday party at and Punch Social Bowl had it all from board games, alcoholic drinks, bowling, and food! How can it get any better than that? Staff was super nice and very helpful when I had any questions and concerns. I would love to come back soon! So if you're looking for a retro vibe hangout area to have a drink, Punch Bowl Social is a place you have to check out to experience yourself!

Excellent and fun for all ages.
Everything was great except dinner service was very slow. We could see all our dinners sit on the counter for half an hour before they brought it to our table.

This is a fun place if you come with a big group. The food is okay, glorified bar food. The service is poor, it is very loud and noisy in there. My wife and I went with another couple and it was not conducive to having a dinner conversation. But if you want to go with a large group of friends and play the games, bowl, drink, etc it is a fun place. But know that it will be loud, food is average and service not so great. Parking is also very tough to find. I do not think we will going back there anytime soon.

Great place for drinks and games, only recommendations, better food. Food was just ok, no real taste on it or too much sauce on the shrimp burger take away the shrimp taste.

Terrible service. Made a reservation for a birthday celebration. We ordered a vegan Mac and cheese which was supposed to come with vegetables, it was served without vegetables. We also ordered the chicken and waffles, the fried skin wasn’t even attached to the chicken. We were not given our drinks or even offered a water refill so we were parched the whole time.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I made reservations here for my birthday dinner celebration at 8pm and it was a complete disaster. My friends and I ordered our food and then waited Over an hour to get the food. Not all the food came out at the same time. Everyone at my table was finished eating and I still had not received my food. I then waited another hour for my meal and when it was finally brought to me I was left having to eat my birthday meal alone since everyone else had eaten already. Then to make matters worse the food my guests received was not cooked properly. Never again will I go back and I will not recommend this place to anyone...ever! I was extremely disappointed.

Great place, I would for sure tell for others to go here. However, the server we had was horrible... He kept us waiting, It was so bad the people at our table went to the bar to get the drinks that we never got. He also kept coming up to us while we were eating our food asking us “are you done?”. I was really disappointed because I’ve never experienced such a dismissive attitude.

It was a fun place to go, with different things to do. Wish the food was better. Ordered many things from the menu and they weren't amazing. The atmosphere was cool. A less busy night you might find access to more things to do. Overall, not bad.

I set up brunch for my husbands birthday at 10am on a Saturday. He’s a little socially anxious so it was perfect! It wasn’t packed at all. Almost completely empty. We had the run of the place most of the time we were there. We had drinks and breakfast, then played darts, bowled, corn hole, more drinks of course, and lots and lots of laughs. Amazing customer service start to finish! The ambiance there is so cool too! Highly recommend this place! We were there for hours and still didn’t want to leave!

Took 20 minutes to have our server to come and continuously had to ask other staff to grab our server for us. The music was horrifically loud, worse than a night club at times. No vegan options for some in the party and the punch bowls are way over priced for the small amount of alcohol. All the games were missing pieces or had lines. You are truly paying for the hipster environment.

Horrible service!! Limited food selection. Waited over 45 minutes and only one waiter for entire group of reservations. Felt discriminated because we are deaf and served last. Games expensive and false advertising of games provided. Never will go there again!!

This place is super cool and priced just right! Great for families with kids 9 and up, or for an adults only outing. Next time we'll skip the dining experience and go straight to gaming. It was our first time here, so I didn't know you could order food & drinks, no matter where you are playing! Drinks are good. Food isn't bad but, it is comparable to an Applebee's or Chili's restaurant. I recommend their burgers. Tacos not so good. Nacho tray w/chicken is good and perfect for sharing. We're really looking forward to going back!

Sunday brunch date. They offer a prepare your own Bloody Mary bar. Great place for families and groups. Something for everyone. Dinning on one side, the other side offers activities such as bowling or games. Bowling is $10 per hour and includes shoe rental. Socks cost $7, if you aren’t wearing any. Noise level is high due to the bowling lanes, but just adds to the fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The trout sandwich was on the salty side, but the Rye bread was fantastic. Rosemary fries and burger were tasty. Will definitely revisit.

Wasn’t expecting my large birthday crew to be ready so early, leading me to frantically book this reservation for breakfast. But the punch bowls were a hit even at 10am! I plan to come back at a more ‘reasonable’ hour and play some games :)

The place has potential but was extremely loud and we couldn’t get to any of the games or activities without long lines. They also had private parties which eliminated access to a lot of the games. Call about private parties before going.
