This is a fun place with an attentive staff. The food was delicious and we got to choose from a large selection of games to play at our table. It is a fun night out when you are looking for something a little more than just sitting at dinner.

While we didn’t play any games, the service was outstanding, and the food was phenomenal! Cocktail prices were a little more than I would prefer, but overall a great experience.

Fun place but honestly too loud. We went with friends and could barely hear them. Noise level made it less enjoyable

What a great place to have a great time. We had a big party and no one had been there before, everyone loved their food and drinks. There were some problems with the games we had lined up, we waited to bowl for 45 min and then we ran into our time for Karaoke, but everything worked out.

I loved my French Dip and the Crap Rangoon dip was fantastic. The place is very cool and the crowd was young and loud. I hope that more adult places move into the Gateway. Everyone needs a place to have a good time, everyone...

Such a fun place to be!
Foods and Drinks are so amazing. Price for food and drinks are acceptable.

(Quoted from My yelp review below)
Chicken quesadilla was quite spicy. If you like the spiciest, this will give a good surprise. Sauce it came with brought a full flavor of this roasted chicken quesadilla.

Crab lagoon dip. This is exactly same as regular crab lagoon you eat from Chinese store but in Dip dish. Man it was good. If you eat chip too much, ask them refill as well. And it serve you with mustard and duck sauce. Idk about the mustard but this "duck sauce" is the sweet and source sauce. You have to eat it this duck sauce. Otherwise you will get tired of think cream cheese flavor of it.

I got barbacoa taco. It serves three tacos and a bowl of chili per plate. Maybe I was hungry, but I inhale those juicy tacos. Chili was okay. It wasn't bad but not as impressive as other menu

They have many games available that you can play. They got bowling lane, karaoke place, dart, shuffle boards and other board games you can play while you eat.

The atmosphere at Punch Bowl Social is very cool and fun! However, The food and drinks leave a lot to be desired.
I took clients there for lunch excited to try something new. But, the food was meh...edible, but nothing fantastic. We ordered strawberry daiquiris, first of all they were the smallest drinks I've ever seen...they could have literally been a shot, not a drink. Secondly it cost $9.50 and didn't even taste great. Also, it was just liquid, not a blended drink like they normally are. I was highly disappointed.
Our server was great and attentive and other than one of the food runners dropping a cup of chili on my coworker, everything was alright with our service.
Overall, if I was going to go here to play games, or do karaoke I would get dinner and drinks before I went.

As relocated Texans we're always on the hunt for dining culture that just seems to be missing in SLC. PBS is doing their best to bring that here. First of all, I included in our reservation that we would be coming with my husband's service dog and they were beyond accomodating when we got there, making sure we had a corner booth with plenty of space for her to tuck out of the way. It was the lunch hour on Super Bowl Sunday so it was really quiet but we liked how spread out the tables were. Menu was very impressive (both drinks and food). Queso is never quite right in Utah, but this one made us happy. Hooray for standardized national menus! We had the barbacoa (also something Utah usually disappoints on but this was good!) hash and the biscuits and gravy dishes & both were delicious. Cocktails were well done & we didn't feel like we were getting ripped off. Things are a tad pricey but we were happy to pay it for our experience. Sad that Utah laws won't allow minors, but for 21+ patrons they do let you forget for a moment that you live in a state that tries to emphasize the sin shaming in a brunch experience. Felt like a good family fun vibe even though it was 21+ and that's what we look for in places we frequent.

My only recommendation is that staff allow you to purchase drinks from either bar. It seemed if you wanted drinks after eating, you were to go to the back bar, even if you were sitting up front around the front bar.

We went for dinner. And while our server was very nice, she was clearly overwhelmed. It took ages to get drinks, and finally I had to go and find someone to take a food order. It’s a fun atmosphere. And when the food finally arrived, it was fine. But I don’t know that I would recommend.

Our service was really interesting. We were a table of 8 and the same server took care off the entire table. One friend ordered the same drink I had and was brought the incorrect drink. When we told the server, she said they had a policy and couldn’t take drinks off a tab. Interesting. We were nice and let it go. Then a different friend asked for fry sauce and was told they didn’t have it but then another friend ordered a side of fries that came with fry sauce 🤦🏻‍♀️. Incredibly inconsistent. Our server was nice enough just not a great server.

On Nov 13, 2019, a group of 7 friends and I attended dinner for my partner’s birthday. I had also brought in a cake from Gourmandise bakery. We enjoyed our drinks, food, and the entertainment available; as well as thought that Punch Bowl Social was a great addition to Gateway and Salt Lake City. As we finished our meal, I had informed our server that we were ready for the cake. The server then took our cake from the table, and proceeded to the kitchen. We weren’t sure how the server was going to deliver the cake, so we sat at the table confused. After some time, the server, and other servers, returned to our table with 8 small plates of cake; we sang happy birthday over a slice of cake with a candle, rather than the whole cake! We enjoyed the cake, and I had asked for the remaining cake to please be returned to the table, with several to-go boxes to share with our guests; this large sheet cake was intended to serve 22 people, and given the quality expected from Gourmandise, the $60 cake did not disappoint. However, the service which pursued did. We waited at the table for the server to return with the cake, and two separate times she visited the table asking “have they not returned with your cake? Let me go check on it.” Eventually servers, returned with 7 small to-go boxes of cake. Shocked, I asked, where is the rest of the cake?! Where is the cake box?! The cake comes with a personalized greeting written on a bar of chocolate with frosting. Where was this bar?! Upset, I asked if I could speak to the manager. I was introduced to Steven Brown, General Manager of the SLC location, and I explained to him the details mentioned above. Steven apologized and said he would follow up. Steven eventually sent me a picture of the cake box, with lines drawn by a finger showing that 12 pieces of cake were served. After I called him out on the embarrassing response for a manager, he offered to return the amount charged for our dinner. I have yet to be refunded!

Great for a double or group date! The appetizers were absolutely amazing and the entrees were pretty good on average! A little pricy, but that’s to be expected at a place where you may stay a few hours longer than your meal while still taking up table space and server’s time.

Good food and fun scene. Server was quick and responsive, offered good options. I had the mac n cheese with green chorizo and it was awesomely rich and creamy. Wife had tacos, good but smaller portion for price. Kinda pricey for what you get so value not great but overall a cool spot for any occasion. All food and drink was great.

This is such a fun new place! I don't have a single complaint except that our food arrived before we could really get into our game of Battleship! I am excited to go back and check out the mini bowling and private karaoke.

The menu is diverse and delicious. We had the crab rangoon dip, rosemary fries, poblano mac and cheese and the chicken and waffles. Everything was perfect!

So much fun. Played games at our reserved table most of the night and the people were incredibly nice. There was a private event going on so bowling and karaoke were blocked off. Will have to go back to try those out. They looked like a lot of fun.

New, clean.... pretty dead in gateway these days.... but this place could spur some fun night life back... we ate before a concert at The Depot ... which was a 2 minute walk.... very casual... perfect! Bummer they DONT validate for parking in underground parking at gateway... that’s not good! Cost is about $7 to park.... nobody parks there any more as most of gateway is a ghost town....
Wings, chili, tacos... and crab dip, chicken salad... all tasty and decent value.... pretty good beer selection... $10-12 special cocktails.... beers 4-7
The unique games options seems great idea for small groups of adults! Not a place for kids.... must be 21 to enter ... they don’t have but a few sports TVs btw.... which is cool...

Service was kind of slow and the waitress didn’t know the menu (there are indeed beans in the chili and there is a difference between a Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi)

Also, when opening a new location in a new city/state, it might be a good idea for the waitress not to dis the city and state your customers love. Just sayin’

Food was great, beer was super pricey even for a bar and sizes were so limited.
Food was wonderful! Service was good in the dining area.
However an issue I had was that they close certain games before the bar or establishment is said to close. I have issue with a business not operating because they want to start closing before the listed time.
