Food was good service was horrible. They put a table of 20 and a table of 30 in right before our table of 4. Waitress was horrible at refilling drinks. When food came out some was missing. I’d like to go back and have a different server and then reevaluate my review.
We went to Punch Bowl Social to celebrate a family member's 21st birthday and had a great time. Most of our group had never been there before and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great, and the staff was quick to fix any issues with our order. It was pretty loud inside as the night wore on, but not so loud that we couldn't talk to each other. The only problem we had was trying to get our check at the end of the night, but our server was a little distracted by a personal problem which she explained to us when we asked where she had gone. Overall a good experience and a great setting for group parties.
I made reservations for mother's day at 10:15. When we got there only a handful of people were there. The hostess seated us at a high top table. Being mother's day we brought our 2 kids for brunch age 5 and 7, my 5 to had a hard time getting into the seat and didn't feel comfortable being up that high. I went back to the hostess stand and asked if we could be moved to a lower booth. He was throughly annoyed, I tried to explain that my child was uncomfortable, he could of cared less. I get that this is not normally a kid friendly bar so he doesn't have to deal with these things, but it was that day. We did get moved to another table. Food was ok, my husband and I both got the chicken and waffles. It was a little pricey, we got a lot of food, but it just tasted ok. Kiddos had the kids buffet and they hated the pancakes and didn't care for the chicken. They did love the fruit. Also the Coke tasted terrible. The upside of everything was the "mom"osa bar so I could have a few drinks and my husband took the kids to the arcade area. All the arcade games were free for kids that day. Will I be back, yes just probably not for brunch or with the kids.
Waited 25 minuted for our drinks, waited over an hour for our food only to have one of the 5 meals forgotten. Management made it right by comping the forgotten meal but overall we were not impressed and will likely not be back.
It took us a very long time to get our drinks and even longer for our food. Seemed very disorganized. I felt bad for our sweet bartender who was trying really hard but it was overall a hot mess. Cool concept, maybe just went on a bad night.
Short staffed on a concert night. Poor planning. Could have been a better experience. We had to keep going to get our own drinks as the waiter never came around.
Need bigger menu. Choices need more. Lower food prices
It was our family’s second trip to PBS! The first was a surprise 40th Anniversary party where I found out my eldest was expecting her first child. It was such an amazing time, staff was part of the family. 2nd time, we brought our new granddaughter in for a visit! Our same sweet waitress was there and we enjoyed a mini reunion! Top notch!
Cute place, service was a little slow but big event in the back that likely contributed to that.
I like Punch Bowl. Any time I can spend with my wife is fun tho. We enjoyed a late dinner on a Monday evening. The employees were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. There is a unique vibe to the place with the games that are included in the dining area. It is a fun place that is truly comfortable and welcoming. Food was good with ample portions.
Food was over priced. If I would go again it would want to sit in the back where the games where. Sat up in the front and the only reason why I picked punch bowl was for the games.
The place looks really cool on the inside. They have great booths, cool high top tables and a nice bar area. Indoor bags or bocce available, as well as bowling shuffle board and an enormous 8 person foosball table. The food and drinks were excellent.
I went to punch bowl social for a birthday party. The food is rather expensive and just okay. I ordered three types of appetizers, $10-11 each. I was disappointed on the number of wings that came out. The Nachos weren't that great either, just melted grated cheese. I'm not one to be a cheap skate, but I'd rather go to Dave & Busters for games, food, & drinks than go back to Punch Bowl which was crowded, has one pool table, only a couple bowling alley lanes, Foosball table was in a area where another party was reserved. I don't think I'll come back again.
Best chicken sandwich I have ever had! Fun place to hang out before catching a Pacers game 2 blocks away.
We made reservations and were seated promptly and even a bit early. We put in our order right away so we would have plenty of time to eat before heading to a concert. Our drinks came out quickly but our server didn’t bring water as asked. Not a big deal though as she brought them out after we asked again. Then unfortunately she never did come back the whole time we were there to refill them. We ended up going through two rounds of drinks and still no food. We had ordered two appetizers and one dinner entrée to share between us. One of the appetizers was chips and salsa, pretty easy. Well we waited for an hour and 10 minutes to get our food. By the time it came we had no beverages left and no water refills. To even get our food to come I had to tell the server over and over that it had been a long wait and she would simply say well your meal that you ordered is taking a bit longer to prepare, keep in mind one thing that we ordered was chips and salsa then the other was Hummus and the third was a salad. I’m not sure why that took over an hour to do those three things. Once an hour had passed, I had to find a manager to tell about the situation and then about 10 minutes later our food finally came out. Because it took so long to get our food we literally had to scarf it down quickly so we could get out of there to get to our concert. We receive no apology and no adjustment to our bill. It was the worst service I’ve experienced at a restaurant and honestly this is the first bad restaurant review I’ve ever submitted. Aside from that, the food was great although we didn’t have enough time to finish it or truly enjoy it.
Went to Punchbowl before the JT show. Waited over 55 minutes for 2 drinks!!!! Then waited 1hr and 20 min for our food. Absolutely ridiculous service. They know the show is happening and should be prepared and staffed accordingly. When we went up to a staff member to speak to a manager he said, “Well you can tell we are busy.” Obviously but no one should ever have wait times like that. They won’t be in service in a few years with service like that.
We had a reservation for 4 people at 5:45. We arrived at 5:35 and were seated quickly. We waited a long time for anyone to bring water and get a drink order. Once we put in our drink order we also ordered the Sheetload of Nachos. They were a little slow but not terrible. We placed our dinner order at 6:15. At 7:15 our meals had not arrived and our server didn’t seem to know how long it would be. He then checked with the kitchen and said it would still be a little bit. We were going to a concert at 7:30. We had to cancel our order and pay for the drinks. No one seemed to care we were leaving WITHOUT EATING!!!! We’ve been here before and they seemed well equipped to handle a busy evening. So disappointing! We won’t be back!
The service was horrible! Our reservation was at 5:30 and the restaurant wasn’t super busy when we got there. It took our server a good 10 minutes to come over and greet us. I asked for drink recommendations and she didn’t really have anything. It then took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We then ordered and again asked her opinion between a couple items and she didn’t really have an opinion. I asked if I could get fries instead of the beans (I don’t eat bacon and the beans have bacon in them) and her response was I can see what I can do but not sure the kitchen will be ok with that. I thought that was a very odd answer. We then wait 45 minutes for our food! It was awful and we were starving! She never once came over and asked if we needed another drink (mine was empty and my friend was out of water) or to tell us our food would be coming soon. When we FINALLY got our food it was just ok. I had the Barbacoa tacos and the food wasn’t really warm and the tacos were very small. The waitress did come over and ask if we need anything while we were eating but again never acknowledged that we waited 45 minutes to get our food. We watched her other tables sit for a LONG time to get drinks and food too. It was some of the worst service I’ve ever had and the food wasn’t even great! I will never go back.
I had a terrible time here. Sat down at 5:35 and waiter greated us about 8 minutes later. Ordered food at 6:05 and didn't have food still at 6:45 (server never checked on us in the meantime). We were about to get up and leave and the front bartender saw us. She went to the window and our food was up. She said it just came to the window, but it was lukewarm and soggy. She told our server to come check on us and he didn't. She actually closed us out. We had a Pacers game at 7pm we were late to. Very unhappy.
We absolutely loved it. We are going to look into having our wedding party here. Loved the atmosphere and all there is to do.
Food quality is very poor.
Alcoholic drinks are way over priced.
Atmosphere is very chaotic.
Very accommodating of our gluten free dietary restrictions :)
Had fun! Connor the bar manager was very nice! Logan our server was efficient and very pleasant! Overall, my group of 10 were very happy with everything!
I typically don't write reviews unless something is amazing or terrible so take this as you will. A group of 8 of us had reservations at 5:45pm, larger group but they weren't packed and it was a Monday. We were promptly seated but then didn't see our waitress for 15 minutes. Five of us finally got a beverage 10 minutes after that, the others gave up & went to the bar to order. Since it took 25 minutes to get drinks we ordered food when the waitress delivered them. After another 45 minutes with no food, empty glasses & no sign of our waitress I asked for a manager. As I was requesting for our food order to be cancelled so we could go somewhere else, it magically appeared. Clearly all of it had been sitting for some time, flavor of the food wasn't bad but none of it was warm. I might swing by here to grab a drink at the bar or to play games but I would never dine here again....which is sad
The food here is excellent as is the atmosphere, however I believe the restaurant was understaffed the night we went as our drinks came out very slow and we felt a bit ignored by our waitress.
Amazing experience and our waitress was absolutely amazing.
Service was incredibly slow. Maybe this was on the kitchen, but it took almost two hours for us to get food. Thankfully we weren’t in a rush. I was surprised. The food selection was a little fru-fru for my tastes, and then wasn’t amazing in terms of variety, taste, or temperature.
It was good
Our waitress barley ever came to our table and was rude to us. We got lucky another person came around to check on us. She was at our table more than our waitress. In the end, we tipped who treated us well and seemed more like our waitress than our actual waitress.
It was a great experience. Although we thought there were going to be more games and less bar. We took 7 kids with us and they were bored rather quickly.
Punch Bowl is a decent place for a party vibe. I wasn't looking for that kind of an atmosphere but it wasn't too bad. Just not my taste. My gripe is this: serving craft beer in a can--with no glass. I just don't know how a restaurant at that price point can not know that you just don't drink most craft beers out of a can. Sure call me a beer snob. Fine. I just look at it as if they brought dinner out on a paper plate. Does it still go down my gullet? Yes. Is it less enjoyable? Yes.
I got their green chorizo tacos and they were terrific. I enjoyed them immensely. So there's that.
Fun atmosphere with delicious food
Food was good. Service was decent. Made reservations for my nephews 21st Birthday. Called the day of to see what all was booked up and what game areas were free, was told a lot was open. Got there and that was not the case. Nothing was open. Everything was booked until 10pm that night. Our reservation was for 5:45! Needless to say everyone was disappointed and we would have done something completely different had I been told the truth. These were large parties that had been booked in advanced, not people who just happened to show up a little before us. So very disappointing.
We had a great time for my husband's birthday. The service was amazing, Stephanie was awesome and two managers also checked on us during our visit. Even when we were looking for what We were wanting to do the other staff were very helpful, and did not rush. They treated us like We were the only ones who mattered at that moment. We want to thank you all for being great at what you do. Customer service at this location is something to be seen. Great job all of you!
All the bowling and everything was taken for a private event. We didn’t get to enjoy that stuff. So we left and went to another bar
A lot of money for so-so food. Who puts rosemary on french fries?
Felt very taken care of by our server and the hostesses!
Please bring back the Cubano. Tacos weren’t worth it, left us still hungry WITH the chicken wing app... tacos made us sick... I ordered the cucumber cocktail you have, first one was perfect, second one I’m not sure what they did but it didn’t taste like the same drink. Server did what she could, front bartender didn’t seem to care. This is the first time I reserved a table and we sat next to the front bar and watched how they handled it. It wasn’t nearly as busy as it usually is when we came in... we drive from Noblesville and this time it wasn’t worth the trip.
