Food was okay for bar food. Service was not good - waiter seemed very uninterested in the customers.
We brought our employees here for an end of season party and the staff were so AWESOME! Our main server was sweet and very accommodating with our party of 12. Food was delicious (chicken & waffles were a hit!) Bowling was fun. We felt very safe with the COVID protocols in place.
The staff were all over the place. No one seems to k ow their position or duties. Food was all microwaved.
Overall it was a good experience. Only problem was bowling lane#2. The ball failed to return several times.
Not very vegetarian friendly meal options. The kale salad was a big bowl of mostly kale and very few pieces of avocado and green beans.
Due to COVID The menu was modified significantly so not many choices I ate only the shrimp off my taco’s the cocktails were good staff was very nice friendly and attentive.
The nachos and chicken and waffles was the bomb. I would recommend this place.
The waiter had no idea what they did or didn't have available. No knowledge of mixed drinks, very small portions and really expensive. 96.30 for 2 cheeseburger and fry, 1 brisket wrap with frys, 2 sweet teas, 1 coke and 1 nasty tasting Queso Dip with really brick hard chips.
Really good drinks! Food was just ok nothing special but good place for social distancing.
I went on a double date and the service was amazing. Everything was just amazing. I loved it here. I will most definitely be revisiting.
Cool atmosphere at the battery! But, very poor service, drinks spilled on us by a waiter with no apology and her laughing, and our bills were mostly incorrect (we had a party of 8), and some food was cold. I’m not sure I’d recommend when compared with the other awesome dining places at the battery.
Awesome place for large gathering. Food was great and the staff was on point
Think it would have been better pre-Covid. Limited menu, several games couldn’t play because of safety reasons (Covid). Really appreciated that they are conscious and want to care for the patrons. I’ll go back as some point.
Birthday celebration. Never acknowledged special day!
My son celebrated his 17th Birthday with friends. Our server was amazing!
Made a reservation for myself and my boyfriend. We were seated & waited almost 30 minutes. No server ever came to the table. Saw servers grouped up talking and none of them noticed us sitting down. We left and went to another place for dinner.
Considering COVID guidelines, it was still a great experience... I actually prefer it that way :) Since they skip bowling lanes, we had the entire section to ourselves, the food was delicious and the server was friendly and accommodating.
The place is awesome and the wings were good...however, because a mask was required we didn’t stay and ‘play’
I Always have fun here with My friends. Could have more options for food though...
Super disappointed with our experience. Our appetizer came out with all of our food, our order was wrong, sauces were left off, fries and French dip were ice cold, drinks were left empty for a long time, and the list goes on. The restaurant was nearly empty and there was staff everywhere and they just really dropped the ball. It’s such a cool place with a great drink menu so they have what it takes to be successful if they step up the service game. It was down right pitiful. There is no reason for cold food on a super slow night.
Love the place. The service can be better. The punch bowl was cool. I have no complaints about the food.
For a Monday, at lunch, when it is poring rain, I would have expected faster, more attentive service. There wasn’t another table in our section. Food was very good!
It was great for my husband and kids. It was his birthday
Girls night out. Great time... only negative was the 3-hour wait for all the activities except board games.
Food was very mediocre. So if you going just to have fun, that's ok, but don't go for the food. Bowling is more on the expensive side and on the weekend you only get 1hr. Drinks where decent. It is a bit noisy. But we had fun overall.
I made a reservation three days in advance and the table they saved us was small and not nice. I was embarrassed since it was a birthday party for 6 turned into 8. We wouldn’t have enjoyed brunch because the table was too small so we left.
After a long time to get any service. Our server was great!! We ended up eating in our laps at the bowling alley. I ordered an 8 person bowl that didn’t really have much alcohol in it for the price. My burger was fabulous but my friend ordered the breakfast with bland fried potatoes. It looked terrible. She said it was A flavorless breakfast platter.
I just wasn’t impressed. Just another place to grab food. Nothing spectacular.
Service was slow and food was below average
first time there. crowded & noisy but nice.. our server was great.
Server was awesome but the food wasn’t hot. This is the second time I’ve been and the same thing happened. My sister had to send fries back and my tacos weren’t hot. Drinks were very weak as well. Music selection was good and it was cool to play a game. That was the fun part
My company was beyond great, so that might factor into this review. I would say the food was very good. I've had better, but there was nothing wrong. The service was fantastic. They were attentive without being persistent. It was loud. But it's supposed to be loud. The place is incredible. There are so many things to do. People watching is unparalleled.
Good experience, service was good.
Food was tasty but the portions were small for the price
Hard avoid here. Was incredibly chaotic. When we finally found the hostess table in the middle of the second floor they were very rude and even though some of our party had been seated and i showed them our reservation they insisted that we were in the wrong and would not honor the reservation (for which they had seated some of our party already!) and said it didn't exist and that i should go look myself.
The food was atrocious, I ordered the super greens salad and hte quinoa was "crispy" as in undercooked. The salad was drowning in a rancid oil that made me sick.
The "games" were all taken by a private party or were broken. The board games which we thought would be fun were poorly taken care of and had tons of pieces missing.
Spend your birthday dollars elsewhere
great spot; my first time at the Battery! service and food were great, awesome selection of specialty drinks & beers! parking was easy & free!
Our waiter was great and tried to make up for the kitchen MESS. In our party of 8, 1 order came 30+ minutes later (after all 7 other people had finished eating for quite a while). My goodness - it was just tacos.
My son put the ketchup on his burger and then declared the burger inedible. The waiter agreed that the off-brand ketchup they offer is bad and he won’t eat it either.
I really want to like this place..... but.....
The only negative I have is that it was difficult to play many of the games even though there was very people there.
Wow!! We had the best time at Punch Bowl Social. First interaction was with our waitress MIA!! She was outstanding she was very attentive quick and had great conversation. She was also on point keeping us aware every step of the way about our orders. Mia was amazing. Next we interacted with Alex how was also a wonderful delight. Alex was extremely sweet and thorough. She even stayed a little late to make sure we got everything we need. She was also very friendly. Those two made for a great interaction. The food and drinks are very tasty. There wasn’t a morsel left and all drinks were drained. Now just the activities alone with the exception of a couple of kinks with the bowling and pin setting machines we had a great time. We casually moved from one activity to the next (there are an abundance) there is something for everyone board games etc. Ambiance was good. The lightning was perfect even the level and kind of music was popping. We can’t wait to our next trip there.
Fun filled evening
